1) Read all documentation before operating your equipment.
2) Retain all documentation for further reference.
3) Do not connect/disconnect any microphone when the Phantom is already activated.
4) The diaphragm is the most sensible part of the microphone and it must be left untouched to preserve its original performances.
Do not spray any substance, like hair spray, directly into the microphone and avoid getting make-up or paint on the microphone
element and its housing.
5) Despite the resistant materials we use, please keep your microphones away from any kind of unnecessary exposure to water
and high humidity, moisture and sweat.
6) Keep the microphone element dry at all times. The protection grid may cleaned with distilled water. Avoid all kinds of spray
or fluids, which contain chemical components to remove static electricity on or close to the microphone as this could cause
damage to the electret layer.
7) Mounting the microphone close or directly on the skin of a performer, be careful to avoid sweat from running directly into the
microphone. If the microphone has been exposed to sweat it must be rinsed out in distilled water and left to dry out to recover
its original specifications. Drying out your microphone between exposures to humidity will also help to extend its lifetime.
8) If the microphone gets filled up with water it will not be damaged, but possibly turn deaf while the water is captured inside the
microphone, behind the protection grid. Remove the water by shaking the microphone or drying it with a piece of lint free cloth.
9) Use of windscreen is recommended also using your microphone in dirty or dusty environments.
10) Exposing the microphone to make-up or dusty materials, the grid could get clogged. Remove the microphone grid from
the microphone body and clean the grid using a soft cloth with few drops of distilled water only. Make sure the grid is dry
before remounting it on the microphone element.
11) When not in use, the microphone should be disconnected and stored in the supplied case.
12) The cable is usually longer than required for its actual purpose. Ensure that superfluous cable is wound up in large soft loops.
Residue from dust, glue or tape on the cable must be removed after use. The cable can easily be cleaned using organic oil
(i.e. olive oil) or distilled water. Do not bend the cable or rub it harshly since this may stress the strands of the cable and
cause them to break over time.

FEATURES
Your STAGE 1.1 includes a pad switch for instrument and line level signals. You can take even more control of your sound by utilizing the polarity invert switch to set
the phase relationship between the direct and the processed sound.

ATTENUATION PAD - It allows connection to a wide range of input signal levels, just selecting 20dB attenuation.
INPUT – Connect the instrument to be balanced to this 6.35 mm (1/4”) unbalanced T/S connector.
UNBALANCED - This XLR unbalanced connector is wired in parallel with the input.
LINK - This 6.35 mm (1/4”) unbalanced T/S connector is wired in parallel with the input. Use it to connect the
instrument to your on-stage amplifier.
POWER LED - It’s lit when receiving power from mixer phantom power circuitry.
POWER – Use this switch to turn on and off your STAGE 1.1. This switch extends the service life of the battery.
LIFT/EARTH - By switching to the LIFT position, the internal connection to the output pin 1 is removed,
isolating STAGE 1.1 grounding system from the rest of the system. It’s useful to eliminate “hum” or “buzz”
problems due to ground loops.
OUTPUT - Connect this balanced XLR connector to an XLR input on your mixer/stagebox/wallbox.
Battery - This is the compartment to insert a 9V battery to operate the DI BOX without +48V Phantom power.
oPERATioNS
Before activating your STAGE 1.1 DI BOX, please connect your sound source (instrument,
line level output, etc.) to STAGE 1.1 input. Then connect your STAGE 1.1 balanced
output to the cable/stagebox/wallbox. Powering your STAGE 1.1 by a battery, please carry a
spare battery to prevent any inconvenience from low battery. Powering your STAGE 1.1 by
your mixer Phantom power, please activate the Phantom power immediately after connecting
the instruments your DI BOX. In order to prevent switch-on “thump” or “pop”, please mute
your sound system before activating the phantom power supply, then wait for several seconds
before turning on your sound system.

cARATTERiSTicHE
La vostra STAGE 1.1 comprende un interruttore per scegliere fra segnali di livello strumento e linea (20 dB). Avete un ulteriore controllo sul vostro suono tramite
l’interruttore LIFT per la messa a terra. Questo interruttore isola la messa a terra fra il vostro STAGE 1.1 e l’impianto, evitando nel suono bilanciato eventuali ronzii da
tensione presenti nel suono originale.
Coscienti dell’uso pesante che la vostra STAGE 1.1 dovrà affrontare nella maggior parte delle applicazioni più impegnative, lo abbiamo prodotto in modo robusto, con
uno chassis resistente per sopportare tutte le dure prove cui andrà incontro nell’uso continuativo su palco ed in studio.

AvvERTENZE
1) Leggete tutta la documentazione prima di utilizzare l’apparecchiatura.
2) Conservate tutta la documentazione per ulteriori riferimenti.
3) Non collegate / scollegate il microfono quando l’alimentazione Phantom è attivata.
4) Il diaframma è la parte più sensibile del microfono e deve rimanere intatta per preservare le prestazioni
5) originali. Evitate di spruzzare sostanze, come spray per capelli, verso il microfono ed evitate il contatto del microfono con trucchi e smalti,
o vernici.
6) Tenete i microfoni lontano da qualsiasi tipo di esposizione ad umidità elevata, acqua e sudore.
7) Mantenete il microfono asciutto in ogni momento. La griglia di protezione può essere pulita con acqua distillata. Evitate di usare tutti i
tipi di spray o fluidi, che contengono componenti chimici, per rimuovere elettricità statica o vicino al microfono in quanto ciò potrebbe
causare danni alla membrana.
8) Usando il microfono vicino o direttamente sulla pelle di un artista, fate attenzione per evitare che il sudore finisca direttamente nel
microfono. Tenete il microfono al riparo dall’esposizione all’umidità, ciò contribuirà anche a prolungare la sua durata.
9) Il microfono non sarà danneggiato da poche gocce di acqua, ma potrebbe perdere la sua funzionalità se l’acqua rimane dentro il microfono,
dietro la griglia di protezione. Rimuovete l’acqua scuotendo il microfono o asciugatelo con un panno che non lasci residui.
10) Si raccomanda inoltre di utilizzare un piccolo anti-vento nel caso di uso del microfono in ambienti sporchi o polverosi.
11) Esponendo il microfono a fard o a materiali polverosi, la griglia potrebbe intasarsi. Rimuovete la griglia dal corpo del microfono e pulite
la griglia con un panno morbido inumidito con poche gocce di acqua distillata. Assicuratevi che la griglia sia asciutta prima di rimontarla
sul microfono.
12) Quando non è utilizzato il microfono deve essere scollegato e riposto nella custodia (o scatola) in dotazione.
13) Il cavo è di solito più lungo di quanto richiesto per il suo utilizzo reale. Accertatevi che il cavo superfluo sia avvolto in ampie anse morbide.
Residui di polvere, colla o nastro adesivo sul cavo devono essere rimossi dopo l’uso. Il cavo può essere facilmente pulito utilizzando olio
biologico (ad esempio olio di oliva) o acqua distillata. Non piegare il cavo o strofinare duramente in quanto potreste stressare i fili del
cavo e provocarne la rottura nel tempo
14) Per l’assistenza rivolgetevi apersonale qualificato. L’assistenza è necessaria quando il microfonoè stato danneggiatoin qualsiasi modo,come
ad esempio quando è stato versato del liquido o sono caduti degli oggetti all’interno, il microfono è caduto o non funziona normalmente.

Interruttore di attenuazione - Permette il collegamento di un’ampia gamma di livelli per i segnale in ingresso
semplicemente selezionando l’attenuazione di 20 dB.
INPUT - Collegate a questo jack sbilanciato da 6,35 mm (1/4”) lo strumento del quale dovete bilanciare il segnale.
SBILANCIATO - Questo connettore XLR sbilanciato è collegato in parallelo con l’ingresso.
LINK - Questo jack sbilanciato da 6,35 mm (1/4”) è collegato in parallelo con l’ingresso. Usatelo per collegare il
vsotro strumento all’amplificatore sul palco.
Led POWER - Si accende quando lo STAGE 1.1 è alimentato dal circuito di alimentazione Phantom di un mixer.
POWER - Usare questo interruttore per accendere e spegnere le STAGE 1.1. Questo interruttore aumenta la
durata della batteria.
LIFT/EARTH - Con il passaggio alla posizione LIFT, il collegamento interno al pin di uscita 1 viene rimosso, isolando
il sistema di messa a terra del vostro STAGE 1.1 dal resto dell’impianto. È utile per eliminare problemi di
“ronzio” o “brusio” dovuti a loop di massa.
OUTPUT - Collegate questo connettore XLR bilanciato all’ingresso XLR del vostro mixer o box di palco o su muro.
Battery - Questo è il vano per inserire una batteria da 9V per usare il DI BOX senza alimentazione Phantom +48 V.
UTiLiZZo
Prima di usare il vostro DI BOX collegate la sorgente sonora (strumento, uscita di linea, ecc)
all’ingresso della STAGE 1.1. Poi collegate l’uscita bilanciata della STAGE 1.1 al mixer
o box di palco o a muro.
AlimentandolaSTAGE 1.1 tramite batteria vi suggeriamo di portareunabatteriadiricambio
per evitare qualsiasi inconveniente dallo scaricamento della batteria.
Alimentando la STAGE 1.1 tramite l’alimentazione Phantom del mixer dovete attivare
l’alimentazione Phantom subito dopo aver collegato gli strumenti della vostra DI BOX.
Perevitareun “tonfo” o un “pop” dovete spegnereo mettereinmutel’impianto prima di attivare
l’alimentazione Phantom, quindi attendete alcuni secondi prima di accendere il vostro impianto.
