The Refrigerant R32 Gas
• The warnings and cauons described below both contain important informaon regarding safety. Be sure to observe all warnings without fail.
WARNING ....Failure to follow these instrucons properly may result in personal injury or loss of life.
• As of the producon date of this air condioner this manual is the most the up to date version. This manual maybe subject to change post produc-
on without noce. Please visit www.ecoair.org for the most up to date version of this manual.
WARNING
• Install the air condioner on a foundaon strong enough to withstand the weight of the unit. A foundaon of insucient strength may result in
the equipment falling and causing injury.
• The used refrigerant is the uoride R32. This is a non pollung refrigerant that does not harm the ozonosphere. Its inuence on the greenhouse
eect is also lower.
• According to Internaonal Standards ISO 817:2014 R32 is rated as A2L—Lower toxicity (A), and lower risk of ammability (2L)
• R32 Gas is a lower ammability refrigerant with a maximum burning velocity of <10cm/s according to Internaonal Standards ISO 5149
• R32 Gas will not combust unless three condions, in specic quanes or with sucient energy are met: 1) Refrigerant concentraon (14 to
31volume % - 0,3 to 0,6kg/m3 2) Constant oxygen 3) An ignion source (30 to 100mJ [stac electricity 1,25mJ)
• R32 has got very good thermodynamic features which lead to a really high energy eciency. The units therefore requires less gas
to operate.
• If the refrigerant R32 gas leaks during installaon, venlate the area immediately. Toxic gas may be produced if the refrigerant comes into con-
tact with re or an ignion source.
• Aer compleng installaon, check for refrigerant gas leakage. Toxic gas may be produced if the refrigerant gas R32 leaks into the room and
comes into contact with a source of re or ignion source.
• When installing or relocang the air condioner, be sure to bleed the refrigerant circuit or piping to ensure it is free of air, and use only the speci-
ed refrigerant (R32). The presence of air or other foreign maer in the refrigerant circuit or piping causes abnormal pressure rise, which may
result in equipment damage and even injury.
• During installaon, aach the refrigerant piping securely before running the compressor. If the refrigerant pipes are not aached and the stop
valve is open when the compressor is run, air will be sucked in, causing abnormal pressure in the refrigeraon cycle, which may result in equip-
ment damage and even injury
• All the work men who are engaging in the refrigeraon system should bear the valid cercaon awarded by the authoritave organisaon and
the qualicaon for dealing with the refrigeraon system recognised by this industry. If it needs any other technician to maintain and repair the
air condioner, they should be supervised by the person who bears the qualicaon for using the ammable refrigerant.
• While not in use the air condioner must be stored in a room without connuously operang ignion sources (e.g. open ames, an operang gas
appliance or and an electric heater). Under no circumstances should this air condioner be stored in a server room or any other similar environ-
ment.
• The temperature of refrigerant circuit will be high, please keep the inter-unit wire away from copper pipes that are not thermally insulated
• Do no use means to accelerate the defrosng process or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never touch the refrigerant piping or compressor without wearing gloves to avoid scald or frostbite.
Read the precauons in this manual carefully This appliance is lled with R32.
Installaon Notes
• The air condioner is not allowed to be used in a room that has a running re (Such as re source, working coal gas
ware, operang heater, server room etc)
• The air condioner must be installed in a room that is larger than the minimum room area. ( See table below)
• A leak test must be conducted aer installaon is complete.
