EGi garantiza sus fabricados electrónicos y electroacústicos contra cualquier defecto de fabricación que afecte a su funcionamiento durante 36 meses a partir de la fecha de su producción (indicada en cada fabricado),
comprometiéndose a reparar o reponer los módulos defectuosos cuyo fallo, siempre a juicio de EGi, se deba a defecto de fabricación, sin cargos de repuestos.
Esta garantía no incluye gastos de envío de módulos, ni mano de obra de sustitución en la instalación de los citados módulos electrónicos y electroacústicos. En ningún caso la garantía cubre los desperfectos o roturas de
piezas embellecedoras (rejillas, embellecedores, carátulas, marquillos...).
Esta garantía se refiere únicamente al concepto de sustitución en fábrica de los módulos producidos por EGi, excluyéndose cualquier otra cobertura o responsabilidad sobre el resto de materiales o el
conjunto de la instalación puesta a disposición del usuario, pero que EGi no suministra ni ejecuta.
Por lo tanto no quedan cubiertas por esta garantía:
a. La instalación e interconexionado entre sus módulos.
b. Las consecuencias de abuso o mal uso del producto, incluyendo pero no limitado a:
b.1. No usar el producto para fines normales, o no seguir las instrucciones de EGi, para el correcto uso y mantenimiento del mismo.
b.2. La instalación o utilización de los productos de forma no concordante con las normas técnicas o de seguridad vigentes.
c. Las averías producidas por la incorrecta instalación de los módulos, o con cable que no sea el adecuado.
d. Las averías generadas por intervención de persona no autorizada por EGi.
e. Las consecuencias de mezcla con equipos de otro origen, así como adaptaciones, modificaciones, ajustes y/o tentativas de ajustes, irrespectivamente
de que ello haya sido efectuado de forma técnicamente correcta en principio, siempre que no exista expresa autorización por EGi.
f. Las consecuencias de accidentes, catástrofes naturales o cualquier causa ajena al control de EGi, incluyendo pero no limitado al rayo,
agua y disturbios públicos.
En todos estos casos excluidos de la garantía, y siempre que los módulos no sean juzgados como defectuosos por parte de EGi, su remitente
deberá hacerse cargo del importe total de la reparación, y caso de producirse visita de nuestros técnicos, su solicitante correrá con los gastos
originados sin causa justificada de garantía.

Problema
El módulo no responde con ninguna reacción.
El módulo se visualiza en Bluetooth®, pero no se oye nada después de
realizar la vinculación.
Una vez linkado el módulo 41517 y vinculado al mando a distancia 41514,
si pulsamos el botón LINK se apaga la música.
El módulo 41517 está con alimentación, pero ni se visualiza en Bluetooth®,
ni tampoco responde a un mando a distancia 41514.
Posible solución
Compruebe si el amplificador máster está recibiendo por la entrada Ly N,
corriente eléctrica alterna de 115 a 230 V~ de 50/60 Hz.
Compruebe si los altavoces están correctamente conectados a las salidas
L+ / L y R+ / R de la parte trasera, que no existan cortocircuitos en
cualquiera de los dos canales Ly Ry que la línea de altavoces dispone
de la impedancia mínima de 4 Ohms. Asegúrese de haber vinculado un
equipo bluetooth®, subiendo el volumen al máximo, por si acaso.
Si utilizando el sistema en modo completo multiroom, pulsa brevemente
el botón LINK, el módulo máster 41517 se apaga a stand-by para poder
permitir otra vinculación directa. Por ese motivo, se apaga la música. Una
vez hecho esto, pulsando cualquier tecla del mando a distancia, vuelve a
tener el control del mismo.
Es probable que exista otro mando a distancia 41514 (previamente linkado),
que nos este ocupando esas instrucciones. Revisar el estado de los mandos
a distancia que están siendo utilizados en la instalación.

IMPORTANTE
Lea detenidamente estas "Instrucciones de seguridad" antes de utilizar cualquier producto EGi.
El signo del rayo con la punta de flecha, alerta contra la presencia de voltajes
peligrosos. Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, no retire la cubierta.
Los signos del rayo cerca de los terminales de salida del amplificador alertan del riesgo de
choque eléctrico en condiciones normales de uso (terminales peligrosos al tacto). No toque
dichos terminales mientras el equipo esté encendido.

doméstico normal, sino que debe entregarse en el correspondiente punto de

Funcionamiento solo en modo bluetooth®
sin mando a distancia
Primera conexión
El módulo máster 41517 al recibir alimentación de red y no estar vinculado con
ningún mando a distancia 41514, funciona solamente en modo Bluetooth®.
Por ello, al recibir alimentación de red por primera vez o tras un corte de suministro
eléctrico y vuelta del mismo, el módulo máster se queda en posición stand-by, a la
vez que se visualiza el Bluetooth®, para que otros dispositivos bluetooth®puedan
verlo y lograr su vinculación.
El nombre (Friendly Name) por defecto que se visualizará en las pantallas de búsqueda
de dispositivos bluetooth®será: "EGI 41517 xxxx".
Siendo EGI la marca, 41517 la referencia del producto y los 4 últimos dígitos aleatorios
xxxx los números correspondientes al número de serie o Mac de cada modelo 41517.
Para diferenciar entre varios 41517, cada "Friendly Name" aparece como código en
una etiqueta suelta adhesiva en el embalaje y en otra etiqueta pegada en la parte
inferior de la carcasa de cada módulo. De esta forma, nos permite conocer el módulo
máster 41517 al que nos estamos conectando.
Enlazamiento a través de código PIN
En las etiquetas entregadas aparece un password o código PIN "xxxx" de 4 cifras
aleatorias que debe introducir para poder terminar la vinculación con nuestro
dispositivo bluetooth®.
Una vez enlazado y vinculado, el dispositivo comenzará a sonar.
ATENCIÓN: Se recomienda no perder la etiqueta entregada en el embalaje y pegada
en el producto, para que siempre se pueda disponer de los códigos Friendly
Name y PIN.
Encendido ON
Una vez enlazado, el amplificador máster se activa ON y se enciende en modo
reproducción de audio Bluetooth®, con el volumen interno al máximo y con un ajuste
de agudos y graves adecuado de fábrica, para poder escuchar la música Bluetooth®,
de forma óptima y eficiente.
A partir de este momento, el volumen general y la selección de música, se hará siempre
de forma independiente desde el dispositivo bluetooth®enlazado.
NOTA: Para poder desconectarse, desenlazarse o desvincularse del equipo, se puede
realizar de dos maneras, una alejándose por pérdida de señal lejana, o mediante la
desvinculación de bluetooth®desde nuestro dispositivo.
Automáticamente, el módulo máster pasa a modo stand-by, apagando el amplificador
y dejando de nuevo la visualización de Friendly Name Bluetooth®activada, para
permitir volver a conectarnos de nuevo a él, bien desde nuestro actual dispositivo
personal bluetooth®, o bien desde cualquier otro nuevo dispositivo.
Nota
Recuerde que además del funcionamiento solo en modo Bluetooth®, para sacarle las máximas prestaciones con FM, multiroom, reloj, alarma y entrada INPUT; se recomienda
adquirir el mando a distancia 41514.
Antes de comenzar a utilizar el amplificador máster, recuerde que la alimentación de red debe estar correctamente conectada y activada entre 115 y 230 V~ 50/60Hz.
Debido a que estos equipos se comunican por radiofrecuencia, dependiendo del entorno de interferencias y objetos, la comunicación puede sufrir alteraciones.
Al no disponer de leds indicadores para poder verificar su correcto funcionamiento, debe existir al menos un altavoz conectado a una o mejor a las dos salidas estéreo de
altavoces Left y Right. Este amplificador permite su funcionamiento con etapas de potencia adicionales, conectando las salidas del 41517 L+, R+ y 4(GND) OUT del módulo,
a las entradas input +L, +R y GND de las etapas de potencia E17G/D, 40425 y 40430.
Funcionamiento modo completo con Bluetooth, FM/RDS, aux. Input y multiroom,
a través de mando a distancia EGi 41514
Primera conexión
El módulo máster 41517 al recibir alimentación de red y no estar vinculado con ningún mando a distancia 41514, funciona solamente en modo Bluetooth®.
Para que pueda realizar el resto de los servicios de que dispone como FM/RDS, multiroom, aux. INPUT, reloj, alarma, sleep y ecualización, es necesario vincular este equipo
41517 con uno o varios mandos a distancia 41514.

Ajuste de volumen interno
Una vez vinculado por Bluetooth®, el equipo viene de fábrica con volumen al máximo en posición alta. Sin embargo, el módulo 41517 permite fijar o limitar una regulación
de volumen desde el botón de LINK ubicado en la parte inferior del módulo máster 41517, que mediante pulsaciones cortas permite su regulación desde el máximo hasta
el mínimo con reducciones de -6 dB hasta un total de -68 dB, en 12 pulsaciones.
Una vez ajustado ese volumen, éste se memoriza y no se pierde incluso en caso de pérdida de red. Solo se puede borrar dicho volumen modificándolo de nuevo o realizando
la operación de RESET de fábrica a través del mismo botón, pulsándolo durante más de 6 sg.
ATENCIÓN: Tenga en cuenta que si se realiza una operación de RESET, todo el equipo volverá a los ajustes de fábrica.
NOTA: En la posición Bluetooth®, el usuario dispone de la regulación de volumen independiente desde su dispositivo bluetooth®, desde el cual le recomendamos utilice
dicho servicio, dejando el módulo 41517 prácticamente al máximo, no solo para sacarle el máximo rendimiento, sino para tener un control más cómodo del mismo.
Botón de set-up, link o volumen
El botón de LINK tiene tres funciones básicas:
1. Mediante pulsaciones cortas permite la reducción o limitación del volumen de salida, en 12 pulsaciones de -6 dB hasta un total de -68 dB.
En la última pulsación, el volumen vuelve al máximo y vuelve a bajar nuevamente completando el ciclo.
Este volumen se queda memorizado en memoria ROM incluso con pérdida de red eléctrica.
2. Mediante una sola pulsación corta, no solo se baja el volumen -6 dB, sino que el equipo se pone en modo Linkeable para vincularse mediante señal "Zigbee" con mandos
a distancia EGi 41514.
3. Mediante una pulsación larga de más de 6 sg, se produce un RESET del módulo máster, volviendo a los ajustes de fábrica y perdiendo todos los cambios que se hayan
realizado. El volumen pasa al máximo, el Friendly Name de Bluetooth®, el PIN y el código de vinculación Zigbee para mandos a distancia 41514, vuelven todos al original
de fábrica que se indican en la etiqueta pegada en el propio equipo y en la etiqueta adicional que se entrega suelta en el embalaje de origen.

Vinculación con mando a distancia 41514
El módulo máster permite ser controlado desde uno o varios mandos a distancia
41514 para ser manejado por varias personas. De este modo, un mando 41514 puede
manejar 5 equipos 41517, o bien un máster 41517 puede ser manejado por 15 mandos
a distancia 41514.
Los mandos a distancia 41514 se comunican con el módulo máster 41517, a través del
protocolo de comunicación por radio frecuencia "RF Zigbee".
Para linkar estos equipos, pulse la tecla inferior LINK de SET-UP del módulo 41517 (éste pasará a modo de vinculación manual Zigbee).
Seguidamente pulse a la vez las dos teclas superiores de la derecha , del mando a distancia 41514 (VINCULAR A NUEVO RECEPTOR) y a continuación aparecerá
la palabra VINCULANDO. Cuando termine la vinculación aparecerá la frase VINCULADO A NUEVO RECEPTOR y entonces habrá terminado el proceso de linkado de
alta en el equipo, le ordena cualquier instrucción, este pasará automáticamente a trabajar en modo completo.
Otra manera de vincularse al módulo 41517 a través del mando a distancia 41514, se basa en forzar la vinculación introduciendo el código PIN que aparece en la etiqueta
inferior del módulo máster 41517, desde el mando a distancia 41514.
Pulse la tecla PIN del mando a distancia 41514.
Teclee el código PIN xxxx y pulse la tecla OK. Le aparecerá en la pantalla la palabra VINCULANDO y cuando se haya vinculado, aparecerá VINCULADO A NUEVO
RECEPTOR.
Una vez vinculado, el módulo máster 41517 solo atenderá las instrucciones recibidas por él o los mandos a distancia 41514 que se hayan vinculado con este, y el Bluetooth®
solo se podrá activar desde el mando a distancia 41514. En caso de pérdida de luz, el equipo quedará visible en Bluetooth®, pero si algún mando a distancia 41514 previamente
dado de alta en el equipo, le ordena cualquier instrucción, este pasará automáticamente a trabajar en modo completo.

EGi guarantees its electronic and electroacoustic products against any manufacturing defect that affects its operation for 36 months from the production date (indicated in every manufacture), taking
the commitment of repairing or replacing the faulty modules which failure, always to the discretion of EGi, is caused by a manufacturing defect, without any charge for spare parts.
This guarantee does not include charges for the shipping and handling of the modules, nor the labour charges for the replacement in the installation of the aforementioned electronic and electroacoustic modules. The
guarantee will not cover in any case the damages or breakings of the trimming pieces (lattices, trims, masks, frames...).
This guarantee refers only to the concept of replacement in factory of the modules produced by EGi, excluding any other cover or responsibility on the rest of the materials or the whole of the installation
that is put at the user disposal, but that is not supplied nor executed by EGi.
Therefore this guarantee does not cover:
a. The fitting up and the interconnection between the modules.
b. The results from the abuse or misuse of the product, including but not limited to:
b.1. Not using the product for usual purposes, or not following the instructions from EGi for the correct use and maintenance of the product.
b.2. The installation or use of the products in a way that is not concordant with the technical or security rules now in force.
c. The malfunctions caused by the wrong installation of the modules, or by an installation with inappropiate cables.
d. The malfunctions caused by the intervention of a person non-authorised by EGi.
e. The consequences of mixing with equipment from other sources, and also adaptations, modifications, adjustments and/or adjustment
attempts, irrespectively of those that have been performed in a technically correct way, provided that there is not an express authorisation
by EGi.
f. The consequences of accidents, natural catastrophes or any cause beyond EGi control, including but not limited to lightning, water
and public disturbances.
In all these cases that are excluded from the guarantee, and every time that the modules are not considered as faulty by EGi, the
sender should take responsibility of the full amount of the repair, and in the event of a visit from our technicians, the requesting
person will bear the expenses originated without a cause justified in the guarantee.

The module can be linked to a Bluetooth®device, but there is no sound.
If the module is linked to a 41514 remote control, pressing the LINK key
switches off the sound.
Module is powered, but it is not visible for Bluetooth®devices and do not
responds to a 41514 remote control.
Possible solution
Check that the sound unit is powered. A voltage between 115 and 230 V~
50/60Hz must be applied to Land Nterminals
Check that the speakers are properly connected to L+ / L y R+ / R outputs.
Verify the absence of short-circuits and check that the speakers line impedance
is above 4 ohms. Make sure that a Bluetooth®device is connected, and set
volume level to maximum.
When LINK key is pressed in full-functionality mode, 41517 module goes to
standby state to allow a new link to a different remote control. That is the
reason for the music to switch off. After that, pressing any key on the 41514
regains control over the module.
It is probable that the module is being controlled by another 41514 remote
control (previously linked). Check all remote controls in the installation.

NOTE: To prevent radiofrequency interference is strongly recommended keeping a distance of at least 1 m. between
modules with the same reference number. Please avoid grouping modules.
Operation in Bluetooth®mode only
without remote control
First connection
41517 master module works in Bluetooth®mode only when powered for the first
time or after a blackout. Initial state is stand-by: the module is visible to any Bluetooth®
device and can be paired with it.
Module Friendly Name is "EGi 41517 xxxx". This name will appear on the Bluetooth®
device screen when searching. EGi is the brand, 41517 is the product reference and
"xxxx" stands for the last four digits of the serial number.
Every module has a unique Friendly Name, so the user can know which module is
connecting to. Friendly Name is printed on two labels: one is attached to the enclosure,
and the other one is left loose into the packaging.
Pin code linking
A 4-digit random password / PIN code is printed on the labels. It must be keyed
in during linking process.
Once linked and connected, the module will start to sound.
WARNING: Please dont lose the labels so that the Friendly Name and the PIN
code are always available.
Turning ON
The module remains in standby state until it is connected to a Bluetooth®device.
When connected, it goes to ON state: audio output is activated, volume is adjusted
to its preset value and equalizer is set to achieve optimum performance.
Since then, volume control and music selection will be controlled from the linked
Bluetooth®device.
NOTE: Disconnection causes are: manual command from the device or lost of coverage.
When disconnected, module goes to standby state: audio output is disabled and the
module is visible/connectable again. In other words, it can be linked to a new
Bluetooth®device or connected to a known device (one that has been linked previously).
Note
Remember that in addition to operating only in Bluetooth mode, to get maximum performance with FM, multiroom, clock, alarm and INPUT; we recommend to acquire the
remote control 41514.
The sound unit must be connected to a mains voltage between 115 and 230 V~ 50/60Hz, prior to being used.
Because these devices communicate by radio frequency, depending on the environment interference and objects, communication can be altered.
There is not any LED indicator, so it is necessary to connect at least one speaker (better two) in order to check the unit is working properly.
External audio amplifiers (i.e. E17G/D, 40425 & 40430) can be attached to the audio output. To do so, connect 41517 terminals L+, R+ & 4(GND) to the audio amplifier
input terminals +L, +R & GND respectively.
Operation in full-functionality mode: Bluetooth, FM/RDS, aux. input & multiroom
using EGi remote control
First connection
41517 master module works in Bluetooth®-only mode when powered.
It is necessary to link it to one or more 41514 remote controls to get full functionality: FM/RDS, multiroom, aux. INPUT, clock, alarm, sleep and equalizer.

Preset volume adjustment
Preset volume is factory-set at maximum level. However, it can be changed and limited by means of LINK key, which is located on the back side of 41517 module. Every
short press on LINK key reduces preset volume in -6 dB steps up to -68 dB, and then it goes to maximum level again.
Once adjusted, preset volume is stored and is value is kept even in case of power failure. It can be adjusted again or be reset to factory-set value (maximum) by pressing
LINK key for 6 seconds or more.
WARNING: Keep in mind that a RESET can modify other parameters.
NOTE: In Bluetooth®mode, the user can control volume level from the device. We suggest leaving the volume of 41517 module at maximum level. This way maximum
performance can be obtained and the control is more comfortable.
Volume / Link / Reset key
LINK key has three functions:
1. Every short press on LINK key reduces preset volume in -6 dB steps up to -68 dB, and then it goes to maximum level again.
2. Additionally, a short press on LINK key makes the module visible for Zigbee devices, so that it can be linked with a 41514 remote control.
3. A long press (more than 6s) produces a RESET of the module: preset volume is set to maximum, Friendly Name and PIN code return to the value printed on the labels.

Linking to a 41514 remote control
Master module can be controlled by one or more 41514 remote controls, so that several
people can control it. A 41514 remote control can handle up to five 41517 modules. A 41517
module can be handled by up to fifteen 41514 remote controls.
Communication between 41517 modules and 41514 remote controls is performed by
Zigbee. It is a radiofrequency communications protocol.
To link the devices, please press LINK key on the back side of 41517 module (so it becomes visible for Zigbee devices). Next, press the two upper-right keys on the
41514 remote control at the same time (LINK TO A NEW RECEIVER). It will appear "LINKING" on the screen. When linking process ends, it will appear "LINKED TO A
NEW RECEIVER".
There is another way to link together 41514 and 41517; it uses the PIN code printed on the labels of 41517.
Press PIN on 41514. Then key in PIN code and press OK. It will appear "LINKING" on the screen. When linking process ends, it will appear "LINKED TO A NEW RECEIVER".
Once linked to a remote control (or more), Bluetooth® can only be activated from a 41514 remote control.
In case of power failure, the module will go to Bluetooth®-only mode, but it will change automatically to a full-functionality mode when any command from a linked 41514
remote control is received.

remote control user manual.

The lightening-shaped arrow warns of the presence of dangerous voltage. To minimise
the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover.
The lightening signs near the amplifier output terminals warn of the danger of electric
shock in normal usage conditions (Terminals dangerous to touch). Do not touch
these terminals while the device is in operation.
This symbol indicates that the product must not be treated as normal domestic
