1 O er iew
1.1 Speed and rotation direction control
The to trigger (2) controls the forward s eed.
When the to trigger and bottom trigger (3) are ressed at the same time, the tool switches to reverse.
When the bottom trigger is released, the tool switches to normal forward.
1.2 Safety system
The drill automatically shuts off after 5 minutes without use.
1.3 Attachments
To mount an attachment, follow these ste s:
- Pull the cou ling sleeve forward and insert the tool onto the attachment cou ling (1).
- Rotate the attachment until it locks into lace.
- Confirm the tool is seated correctly by gently a lying traction.
- To disconnect, ull the cou ling sleeve forward and remove the tool.
NOTE: The same rocedure is used for the com atible battery attachments.
3-jaw chuck, AO-chuck, DIN chuck, Harris and Hudson chuck and K-wire driver.
2Battery
2.1 Inserting the battery in the battery casing
The battery (Art.No. 198005) should be inserted into the battery casing by two eo le and one of them
should be wearing sterile a arel.

- The surgeon wearing the sterile a arel holds the sterile battery casing and o ens the cover (4).
The individual wearing the sterile a arel laces the sterile cover (6) on the battery casing.
Please ensure that this is seated correctly.
- A second individual guides the unsterile battery (7) through the sterile cover (6) into the battery
casing to ensure a correct seat. The battery should not contact the sterile outside of the casing.
- The second individual then removes the sterile cover (6) from the battery casing.
- The surgeon closes the battery casing with the cover (4) without contacting the battery or inside
of casing.
NOTE: Do not sterilise batteries.
Assess batteries for any damage rior to use.

2.2 Charging battery
(Art.No. charger: 198006)
- Connect the unit's lug to a ower outlet and switch on (8) the charging base. The charging
status indicator (9) should light u .
- Insert the battery (7) into the charging dock (10) with the arrow facing down. Ensure that the
battery is seated ro erly, which may require the battery to be rotated in the dock.
- The battery automatically switches to maintenance charging after it is fully charged. This ensures
o timal battery charge levels .
- Battery charge time: a rox. 1 hour
NOTE: Indicator is red during charging state. Indicator is green when battery is fully charged.
The charging base and battery have an increased tem erature during the charging rocess: this is
normal.
Do not sterilise battery.
Never immerse charging unit and battery in any liquid.
