Adjusting
Positioning the projector
Note:
● The brightness in a room has a great inuence on picture quality. It is recommended to limit the
ambient lighting in order to get the best image.
● All measurements are approximate and may vary from the actual sizes.
Install remote control batteries
① Open the battery
compartment lid.
②Install new batteries
into the compartment.
③Replace the
compartment lid.

For correct polarity
(+ and –), be sure

are in contact
with pins in the
compartment.
Operating range
Point the remote control toward the projector
remote receiver when pressing any button.
The maximum operating range for the remote
control is about 5 meters and 60 degrees
vertically and horizontally.

Adjusting
1.Complete peripheral connections (with a
computer, HD recorder, etc.) before turning
on the projector.
2.Connect the projector’s AC power cord into
AC outlet.The POWER indicator turns red.
3.Press the POWER button on control panel or
on the remote control. The POWER indicator
becomes green and the cooling fans start to
work. The preparation display appears on the
screen and the countdown starts.
4.If the projector is locked with a PIN code, a
PIN code input dialog box appears. Enter the
PIN code as instructed below.
Turn on the projector
The projection angle can be adjusted up to 10
degrees with the adjustable foot.
Lift the front of the projector and press the lock
on the adjustable foot to release it.
The foot is then locked. Rotate the foot to
adjust the height and tilt angle.
Keystone distortion of projected images can be
corrected by remote control or menu operation.

Connecting the AC power cord
This projector uses nominal input voltages of
100–240V AC and it automatically applies to
different input voltages. It is designed to work
with a single-phase power system having a
grounded neutral conductor. To reduce the risk
of electrical shock, do not plug into any other
type of power system. If you are not sure of
the type of power being supplied, consult your
authorized dealer or service station. Connect
the projector with all peripheral equipment
before turning it on.
Connect the AC power cord to the projector.
The AC outlet should be near this equipment
and must be easily accessible.

For safety, unplug the AC power cord when the projector is not in use. When the projector is
connected to an outlet with AC power cord, it is in stand-by mode and consumes a little electric
power.

Turn off the projector
1. Press the POWER button on control panel
or on the remote control, and “Power off?”
appears on the screen.
2. Then, press the POWER button again in 4
seconds. The POWER indicator starts to
ash red, and the cooling fans keep running
(You can select the level of fans’ quietness
and running speed.). Now you can unplug
the AC power cord even if the fans are still
running.
3 When the projector has cooled down enough
to be turned on again, the POWER indicator
stops ashing.
To maintain the lamp life, once you turn
the projector on, wait at least 5 minutes
before turning it off.
Do not operate the projector
continuously without rest.
Continuous use may result in shortening
the lamp life.Turn off the projector and
let it stand for about an hour in every 24
hours.
Power off ?
“Power off ? ” disappears after 4 seconds.

Einsetzen der Batterien in die Fernbedienung
Reichweite
① Öffnen Sie den Deckel
des Batteriefaches.
② Setzen Sie die neuen
Batterien in das Fach ein.
③ Schliessen Sie den
Deckel des Batteriefachs.
Zwei AAA-Batterien.
Für richtige Polarität
(+ und -) stellen
Sie sicher, dass
die Anschlusspole
der Batterien mit
den Kontakten des
Batteriefaches in
Berührung kommen.
Richten Sie die Fernbedienung auf den
Empfänger des Projektors während Sie eine
Taste betätigen.
Die maximale Reichweite der Fernbedienung
beträgt ca. 5 Meter und 60 Grad vertikal und
horizontal.

Der Projektorwinkel kann mit den verstellbaren
Füssen des Gerätes bis zu 10 Grad angepasst
werden.
Heben Sie die Vorderseite des Projektors und
drücken Sie das Schloss an den verstellbaren
Füssen, um es zu loesen.
Dann ist der Fuss geschlossen. Drehen
Sie den Fuss, um die Hoehe und Winkel
einzustellen
Die Trapezverzerrung von projizierten Bildern
kann mit der Fernbedienung oder über das
Menü korrigiert werden.

Schließen Sie das AC-Netzkabel
an den Projektor an.
Schliessen Sie das Netzkabel an
Dieser Projektor hat einen
Stromversorgungsspruch von 100-240V AC, er
passt sich automatisch an Schwankungen in der
Versorgung an. Der Projektor arbeitet mit einem
Einphasensystem mit neutraler Erdung. Zur
Vermeidung von Stromschlägen sollte er an kein
anderes Stromversorgungssystem angeschlossen
werden. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren autorisierten
Händler oder Kundendienst, sollten Sie sich nicht
sicher sein welcher Art von Stromversorgung
Sie erhalten. Vor Einschalten schliessen Sie den
Projektor an alle periphären Geräte an.
Der Netzanschluss sollte in der Nähe des
Gerätes und leicht erreichbar sein.
Bemerkung:
Bitte beachten Sie:
Ziehen Sie aus Sicherheitsgrund das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose wenn der Projektor nicht in
Betrieb ist. Wenn der Projektor an die Stromversorgung angeschlossen ist, ist er im Standby-
Modus und verbraucht etwas Energie.
1. Vor dem Einschalten sorgen Sie für den
vollständigen Anschluss aller periphären Geräte
(Computer, VCR, usw.)
2. Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit dem
Netzanschluss. Die POWER-Anzeige leuchtet rot.
3. Drücken Sie die POWER-Taste im
Obenbedienfeld oder auf der Fernbedienung. Die
POWER-Anzeige leuchtet grün und der Ventilator
schaltet sich ein.Das Display erscheint auf dem
Bildschirm und der Countdown beginnt.
4. Wenn der Projektor mit einem PIN Kode gesichert
ist, erscheint die PIN Kode-Eingabeäche. Geben
Sie den PIN Kode gemäss der Anleitung ein,
siehe unten.

Abschalten des Projektors
Ausschalten ?
„Ausschalten ?“ verschwindet nach 4
Sekunden.
1. Drücken Sie die POWER-Taste im
Obenbedienfeld oder auf der Fernbedienung,
und die Aufschrit „Ausschalten ?“ erscheint auf
dem Bildschirm.
2. Dann drücken Sie die POWER-Taste erneut
innerhalb von 4 Sekunden. Die POWER-
Anzeige blinkt rot und der Ventilator ist noch
in Betrieb. (Sie können die Lautstärke und
Geschwindigkeit des Ventilators wählen).
Jetzt können Sie den Projektor aus dem
Netzanschluss ziehen, auch wenn der Ventilator
noch läuft.
3 Wenn der Ventilator genügend abgekühlt ist
um wieder eingeschaltet zu werden, hört die
Power-Anzeige auf zu blinken.
Um die Lebensdauer der Lampe zu
erhalten sollte man nach Einschalten
des Projektors mindestens 5 Minuten
mit dem Abschalten warten.
Betreiben Sie nicht kontinuierlich ohne
Pause.den Projektor.
Fortgesetzter Gebrauch kann die
Lebensdauer der Lampe verkürzen.
Schalten Sie den Projektor alle 24
Stunden für ungefähr 1 Stunde aus.
