This warranty is validonly on Eiki products purchased in the United Statesor its territories.This warranty
appliesonly to the original purchaser. The original dated billof sale, sales slip or proofof purchasemust be
submittedto an Authorized Service Dealer orAuthorized Regional Service centerat the timewarrantyserviceis
requested.
Subject to the Obligationsabove and Exclusions below, Eiki International,Inc (Eiki)warrants this product
against defects in materialsand workmanship for a period of three (3) years or sixthousand (6000) hours
-whicheveroccurs first. Eiki will repair or replace (at itsoption) the productand any of its parts,whichfail to
conformto this warranty.The projection lamp is warrantedto be free from defectsin materialsor workmanship
fora period of ninety (90) daysor five hundred(500) hours- whichever occurs first.Eiki throughanAuthorized
ServiceDealer orAuthorized Regional Service Center will replace thelamp on a prorate basis. Thewarranty
periodcommences on the date the product was first purchased from an Authorized Eiki Dealer.
Thiswarranty does not cover (A) the adjustment of customeroperated controlsas explainedin the appropriate
model’sinstruction manual or (B) the repairof any product whoseserial numberhas been altered,defacedor
removed.
Thiswarranty shall not apply to cabinet orcosmetic parts, knobsor batteriesor reinstallationoftheproductafter
repair.
This warranty does not apply to cleaning theproduct and/or damage to the product dueto environmental
pollutantssuch as tobacco smoke, cookinggrease or “fog oil”. This warrantydoesnot apply touncrating,set-up,
installation,and removal of the product for repairor reinstallationof the productafterrepair.This warrantydoes
notapply to repairs or replacementsnecessitated by any cause beyondthe control of Eiki including,butnot
limitedto, any malfunction, defector failure caused by or resultingfrom unauthorizedserviceorparts,improper
maintenance,operation contrary to furnished instruction,shipping or transits accidents,modificationor repair
bythe user, abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, incorrectpower line voltage,fire flood or other actsof God, or
normalwear and tear.
Theforgoing is lieu of all other expressedwarranties andEiki does not assumeor authorizeanypartyto assume
forits any other obligation or liability.
Eikidisclaims all warranties which may be implied by law (includingthe warrantiesof merchantabilityand
fitness),Eiki’s liability for any losses or damages resultingfrom any cause whatsoever,includingwarrantor’s
negligence,alleged damaged or defective goods, whether such defects arediscoverable or latent, shall in no
eventexceedthe purchase price of the equipment.
