READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE IRON
WARNING for your safety
1. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner, or
in a heated oven.
2. Always fill the kettle first, then set the appliance onto the
power base. To disconnect, remove the kettle from the
power base then remove the plug from the wall outlet
electricity supply.
3. Always make sure that the lid is closed funding operation.
Scalding may occur if the lid is open during operation.
4. Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle
containing hot water.
5. NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
6. Never boil water while the lid is open. Water may splash
out of the water. This can cause severe injuries.
7. Never fill the kettle with any liquid other than water.
8. Never immerse the kettle in any liquid. Never put the kettle
or it’s base in a dishwasher.
9. Discard the first filling or boiled water to remove any dust
and residues from the manufacturing process.
10. Never under or over fill the kettle.
11. Never fill the kettle over the MAX line. If you fill above the
MAX line, boiling water will push out of the pouring spout.
This can cause severe injuries and burns.
12. When cleaning, make sire the kettle is cold.
13. Over time the stainless steel cover of the heating element
inside the bottom of the kettle may change color slightly
(this is also known as “boiler scale”). These stains can be
wiped aways with a cloth and mild abrasive. Rinse the
kettle thoroughly with fresh water.
14. Hard water can leave calcium spots inside the kettle. Use
a commercial de-scaling agent to remove and follow the
product manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure the
kettle is cold before performing this operation

ALWAYS:
Before using this product, read and familiarize yourself with all
instructions.
Retain instructions for future reference.
Make sure that the voltage indicted on the product corresponds
to that of your local standard before connecting to the main
power supply.
Ensure that the lead cord grip is fastened correctly.
Unplug after use, before cleaning or while under repair.
Consult a qualified electrician to carry out any repairs or
maintenance.
Supervise children and pets in the vicinity when using electrical
products.
Store electrical products in a dry place where they cannot be
damages by water or damp conditions.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
The Kettle has a short cord to reduce the hazards ofbecoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Anextension cord may be used if the rating is equal to orgreater
than the rating of the Kettle. Use an extension cordrated 13
amperes or greater. Care must be taken to arrangeextension
cord so that it will not drape over countertop ortabletop where
it can be pulled on by children or trippedover unintentionally.
Operating the Kettle and another appliance at the sametime
from the same electrical circuit could cause anelectrical
overload condition, which would blow the fuseor trip the
circuit breaker.
NEVER:
Overload sockets and try to avoid the use of extension leads
or adaptors.
Allow children to operate electrical products.
Pull the cord to unplug the device from electrical outlets as
this will damage the cords wire and insulation.
Use if the product shows signs of being faulty. Unplug at once
if you smell burning, observe smoke or suspect any other fault.
If in any doubt as to the safety of the product, consult a
qualified electrician.
Use if the lead or plug shows any sign of damage, or it has
frayed or bare wires, loose connections.
Plug into a broken or cracked socket.
Place on a wet surface or handle electrical products with wet
hands.

Cordless ironing mode:
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
TO BOIL WATER
Read all Important Safeguards and Instruction manual
before using this kettle.
Pour away the very first water boiled with this kettle to
remove any dust and residues from the manufacturing
process.
1. Remove kettle from the base.
2. Open the lid until it stands vertically. DO NOT BEND LID
FURTHER BACK!
3. Fill with the desired amount of fresh cold water. The kettle
has minimum and maximum markings. Never under-fill or
overfill the kettle.
4. CAUTION / DANGEROUS: Never fill above the MAX line.
If you fill above the Max line, boiling water will splash out
of the pouring spout. This can cause severe injuries and
burns.
5. Close the lid.
6. Place the kettle on Power Base.
7. Plug cord into wall outlet.
8. Gently push the On switch upwards. The blue Indicator
Light will turn on and the kettle begins to heat the water.
9. When the water comes to boil, the kettle will turn itself
off automatically. And the on-switch will jump down and
the light will shut off.
10. Lift kettle from the base and pour water out slowly.
CAUTION:
Never try to boil water with the lid open.
Do not leave water standing in the kettle. Discard
unused water.
If the kettle is "ON" without water, the kettle will
automatically turn tself off (the blue indicator light will
be shut off, but the switch will NOT jump back).
Press the switch downward to the complete OFF position.

CLEANING
ATTENTION:
DESCALING:
If you remove the kettle during heating – before boiling to
automatic shut-off – the blue indicator light will be turned
off but the switch will stay in the ON position. If you place
the kettle back on the power base, the light will turn on
again, indicating that heating continues.
You can always slide the switch downward to the complete
OFF position to shut off the kettle any time.
Always unplug the power cord of power base before cleaning.
Make sure the kettle is cold.
Clean the exterior surface with a clean, damp, soft cloth.
Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring agents.
Rinse out kettle and wipe dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Over time the stainless steel cover of the heating element inside
the bottom of the kettle may change color slightly. This is caused
by the intense heat of the heating element.
If your water has a high iron content, brownish stains may
appear on the stainless steel element (this is also known as
"boiler scale"). These stains can be wiped away with a cloth
and a mild abrasive. Rinse kettle thoroughly with fresh water
afterwards.
Hard water can leave calcium spots inside the kettle. Please use
a commercial descaling agent and follow the instructions that
come with the agent.
If any scale remains:
Pour the water & vinegar solution into the kettle again.
Reheat the solution until it starts to fizz again. Then switch
off and unplug from the electrical supply. Do not boil.
Leave the hot solution in the kettle until the fizzing stops.
Empty out the solution into e.g. a jug and rinse the inside
of the kettle thoroughly.
Fill the kettle with clean water up to the "MAX" level.
Boil the water and empty the kettle. Rinse the inside of the
kettle with clean water.
NOTE: Make sure kettle is cold when cleaning.
