ELAN Door Stations, along with the COM2
Communication Controller, allow you to use
your own telephones to communicate with
visitors at the door. Your visitors will see the
ultimate in style and elegance gracing your
entranceways, and appreciate the simplicity
and clarity of the communications.
Simple, Convenient
and Secure
ELAN Door Stations provide you with full
2-way communications and door latch control
from your touch-tone telephones. A simple
#-D (for Door) from any touch-tone phone
allows you to speak with visitors at the door.
Another simple button press (“0”) activates
the door latch to let them in, if so inclined.
The DSC3, with its on-board color camera,
gives you the option of seeing who’s there
before you even pick up the phone.

ELAN door station and doorbell faceplates are
constructed from 0.4˝ thick brass and coated
with a tarnish-proof zirconium nitride finish
that can withstand the harshest of
environments and continue to look beautiful
year after year. The crystal-clear sounding
speaker and microphone are sealed tight
against the weather, and the CCTV camera
(DSC3 only) is a hi-res, low-lux, wide-angle
color camera designed specifically for
outdoor environments and extremes in
temperature.
COM2 Communications
Controller
ELAN Door Stations are
designed to work with the
COM2, ELAN’s next-generation,
in-home communications
controller, which transforms any
multi-room audio system into a
multi-line communications
network that seamlessly
integrates intercom, telephone
and automation features to
create an environment of easy
whole-house communications.
In addition to whole-house paging, phone-to-
phone intercom, and much more, the COM2
allows for the connection of four ELAN Door
Stations (each of which can be accessed
independently) and 10 user-selectable door
chimes. With the COM2’s automation features
and a DSC3, live camera images can even be
programmed to pop up automatically on any
TV or ELAN touch panel whenever someone
rings the doorbell.
