We recommend that you read the instructions in this owner’s manual carefully before using it for
the best performance and to extend the lifespan of your appliance, as it will provide you with all the
instructions you require to ensure its safe installation, use and maintenance.
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
In order to avoid bump against people during transportation, please grip the handle on the two
external sides. Do not carry the appliance at the front part, this cause damage the appliance.
To ensure your safety, all electric appliances should only be installed or serviced by qualified
technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the authorized service center or
similarly qualified technician in order to avoid hazard.
Do not place supply cord on the edge of table and counter, or near any heating appliance.
In order to avoid electric shock, do not immerse supply cord, plug or other parts into water.
In order to avoid burning or explosion, combustibles or flammable material (curtains, cloth,
wallpaper and others) should be kept away from the appliance.
Do not place paperboard, plastic or other similar items in the appliance. When the coffee
machine is not being used, everything should be removed except provided accessory.
Accessible parts may become hot during use, please keep away from children.
Never obstruct vents provided for ventilation and heat dispersal.
The certain parts of the appliance may become hot during use, please handle with care.
When the appliance is faulty, please contact the authorized service center.
Disconnect the coffee machine from the power supply and waiting until it is cool, before cleaning
or maintenance.
In order to avoid electric shock, never use wire brush to clean the appliance since pieces of metal
is easy to touch live part.
Never use metal scouring pads or sharp scrapers which will damage the surface or interior wall,
leading to glass broken or scratches of the enamel.
In order to avoid burn or electric shock, never put too much ingredients or water.
Please make sure the function has been switched off when it is not be used.
Unplug from the socket when you are planning not to use the appliance for long time.
Never use your coffee machine outside the cabinet.
Other purpose except brewing coffee is not allowed.
Do not grasp the coffee machine when it is out of the cabinet. Do not rest recipients containing
liquids or inflammable or corrosive materials on top of the appliance. Place the accessories
required to prepare the coffee (the measure for example) in the special holder. Do not rest large
objects which could obstruct movement or unstable objects on the appliance.
This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety,
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

2. ATTENTION
In order to avoid electric shock, please make sure the appliance has been shut off before carrying
out the maintenance.
Use only original accessories provided by ELBA or its authorized service center.
Do not use wet parts of body to touch the appliance.
Do not pull and push the appliance by its supply cord, this may lead to socket disconnection.
Improper or dangerous operations are forbidden.
Do not let the power cord of other appliances to touch the heated parts of the appliance.
The appliance should not be exposed to rain or direct sunshine.
Do not use or store flammable objects near to the appliance.
This appliance produces hot water and steam may form while it is in operation. Avoid contact
with splashes of water or hot steam. Avoid touching hot surfaces when the appliance is in use.
Never make drinks, hot water or steam when the appliance is extracted. Always make sure the
appliance is inactive before extracting it. Failure to observe this precaution could lead to damage
to the appliance. The only exception is adjusting the coffee mill which must be done with the
machine pulled out.
This appliance is designed for household use only. Do not use this appliance for trade or
commercial purposes.
Distributors decline all liability for not following above instructions or some improper operations which
caused personal injury and property loss.
3. INSTALLATION
3.1 Before the Installation
Please check the products and make sure that there is no damage visibly. The telescopic track is
level, and you can pull out and push in flexibly. Specification on the marking plate is in compliance
with the regulations.
If the coffee machine appears in an abnormal way, do not install and unplug the power supply
before contacting the authorized service center. Do not attempt to repair or service the appliance
by yourself. Repair or maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified technician or the
authorized service center.
Check that the mains power supply voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the appliance
rating plate. Connect the appliance to an efficiently earthed and correctly installed socket with a
minimum current rating of 10A only.
This appliance must be installed only by qualified technician or the authorized service center.
Manufacturer declines all responsibility for improper installation, which may harm persons and
cause damage to the property.
IMPORTANT:
The power supply to the appliance must be cut off before any adjustments or maintenance work
is carried out. The AC power supply should be supplied with 220-240V, 50/60Hz with minimum
10A distribution circuit fuse or at least 10A distribution circuit breaker.

3.2 Installation of Built-in Coffee Machine
The material of the cabinet should be insulated, and the clearance between the edge of the cabinet and
the coffee machine should be over 100mm for ventilation. The panels of the adjacent cabinets must be
made of heat-resistant material which can withstand temperatures of up to 65℃. In compliance with
current safety standards, contact with the electrical parts of the appliance must not be possible once it
has been installed.
1. Check if the cabinet size is fit in this picture before installation.
2. Install the telescopic connecting bracket by fixing with the screws as photo shown.
3. Extract the telescopic rail completely.

4. Install the Built-in Coffee Machine body onto the rail of the telescopic.
5. Tighten the screws on the both sides of the body.
6. Check if the installation is fitted correctly and smoothly by pulling and pushing the coffee
machine on the rail. Extract the coffee machine to the maximum extension; open the coffee
bean cover to add coffee beans into the container provided.
7. Open up the water tank cover on the left side of the coffee machine.
8. Take out the water tank and add only filtered water. Put back the water tank into position and
push the telescopic rail back into its original position.

4. CONNECTION OF THE APPLIANCE
4.1 Fitting on a Power Supply Cable
The appliance has to be equipped with a three-core power supply cable which is designed to
operate with an alternating current. The AC power supply should be supplied with 220-240V,
50/60Hz and a minimum 10A distribution circuit fuse or at least 10A distribution circuit breaker.
4.2 Connecting the Supply Cable to the Mains
Install a standardized plug corresponding to the load indicated on the marking plate. The supply
cable should be positioned so that it does not reach a temperature of more than 50℃with
respect to the room temperature, anywhere along its length, or protected by insulation.
Before making the connection, check that:
The electrical safety of this appliance can only be guaranteed if the appliance is correctly and
efficiently earthed, in compliance with regulations on electrical safety.
Always ensure that the earth is connected. If you have any doubts please contact a qualified
technician to check the connection. The manufacturer declines all liability of damage resulting
from a connection which has not been earthed properly.
Check that the electrical capacity of the system and sockets will support the maximum power of
the appliance, as indicated on the marking plate.
If the socket and appliance plug are not compatible, have the socket replaced with a suitable
model by a qualified technician. The latter, in particular, will also have to ensure that the cross
sections of the socket cables are suitable for the power absorbed by the appliance.
The use of adapters, multiple sockets and /or extensions, is not recommended. If their use cannot
be avoided, remember to use only single or multiple adapters and extensions which comply with
current safety regulations. In these cases, never exceed the maximum current capacity indicated
on the single adapter or extension and the maximum power indicated on the multiple
adapter .The plug and socket must be easily accessible.
5. USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before the coffee machine is sent out from the manufacturer, the appliance is tested for
functionality therefore it is completely normal for there to be traces of coffee in the mill.
Connect the appliance to the electrical mains and turn on the main switch.
Press on/off button to turn on this machine. The machine display “Self Check”, and then display
“Heating” on the screen.

After a while, the coffee machine will proceed to “Rinsing”.
When the coffee machine has rinse completed, it will display “Ready”. You can now start to use
the coffee machine by selecting the function.

7. PROGRAMS AND FUNCTIONS
7.1 Making Coffee Using Coffee Bean
When the appliance display “Ready”, you can press the “Menu” button, the appliance will display
the programs as below photo shown.
Press “1 cup” to select the program. The display will show
You can set the parameter or remain its default setting and press “OK” to confirm. The coffee
machine will start making coffee of your choice.
Alternately, you can change the parameters according to your preferences. The screen will show
as following:

Note 1: If the coffee is delivered a drop at a time or not dispensing at all, turn the grinding
adjustment knob one click clockwise. See “Adjusting the coffee mill”. Proceed one click at a time
until coffee delivery is satisfactory.
Note 2: If the coffee is delivered too fast and the cream is not satisfactory, turn the grinding
adjustment knob one click anticlockwise. See “Adjusting the coffee mill”.
Note 3: When the appliance displays “Fill water", fill the water tank with water or the appliance
will not deliver coffee.
Note 4: After about 15 times making coffees, the appliance displays “Empty Ground". This
indicates that the ground container is full and must be emptied and cleaned. Clear the ground
container and the appliance will continue to make coffee.
To clean, extract the drip tray, empty and clean it. While cleaning, always extract the drip tray
completely to avoid it falling when the ground container is removed. Empty the ground container
and clean thoroughly to remove all residues left at the bottom. When removing the drip tray, the
ground container must be emptied even if it is not completely full. If this is not done, when you
make the next coffee, the ground container may fill up more than expected and clog the machine.
Note 5: Never extract the water tank while the machine is delivering coffee. If it is removed, it will
not be possible to make the coffee and the appliance will display “Fill water”. Put the water tank
back into its original position, the interrupted program will continue.
7.2 Adjusting the Coffee Mill
The coffee mill setting has preset during manufacturing by the factory to make coffee correctly
and should not require adjusting initially. However, if after making the first few coffees you find
that delivery is either too fast or too slow (a drop at a time), this can be corrected by adjusting the
grinding adjustment knob.
The grinding adjustment knob must only be turned when the coffee mill is in operation. For
slower delivery and creamier coffee, turn one click anticlockwise (finer, pre-ground coffee).For
faster delivery (not a drop at a time), turn one click clockwise (coarser pre-ground coffee).

7.3 Making Espresso Coffee with Pre-ground Coffee (Instead of Beans)
Turn on the coffee machine. After the display showing “Ready”, select the function “Coffee
Powder”. The display will show the screen below.
Gently extract and pull out the coffee machine. Open the coffee powder cover and use a spoon to
fill coffee powder.
Upon completed, gently push back the coffee machine and press “OK” button on the control
panel.
You can now start to make coffee using the coffee powder by selecting “OK” or adjust the output
or temperature settings to your preference.

Once you have set the new settings, the display will show
Never add pre-ground coffee when the machine is off or before pressing the button to avoid the
coffee spreading through the inside of the appliance.
Do not add more than level 1 measure, otherwise the appliance will not make the coffee and the
pre-ground coffee will be dispersed inside the appliance, contaminating the appliance or the
coffee will be delivered a drop at a time.
Use the right measurement tool to add the right amount of coffee. Add only pre-ground coffee for
espresso coffee machines into the funnel. Never fill with coffee beans, freeze dried coffee or
other substance that could damage the appliance.
lf too much of pre-ground coffee is used and the funnel clogs, push the coffee down with a knife
then remove and clean the infuser and machine as described in the “Cleaning the infuser.
7.4 Making Cappuccino
Turn on the coffee machine. Pre add the milk in the cup before making the cappuccino. When the
coffee machine is in “Ready” state, select the program “Cappuccino”.

The display will show below steps to select:
You need to select either to grind or using powder. Press “OK” to proceed.
After selecting the function, the coffee machine will start to make Cappuccino. If you have
selected “Powder”, the display will show:
Gently extract and pull out the coffee machine. Open the coffee powder cover and use a spoon to
fill coffee powder.

Upon completed, gently push back the coffee machine and press “OK” button.
Once ready, select the duration and output or press “Ok” to start making Cappuccino.
7.5 Making Latte
Turn on the coffee machine. Pre add the milk in the cup before making the latte. When the coffee
machine is in “Ready” state, select the program “Latte”.
You need to select either to grind or using powder. Press “OK” to proceed.
After selecting the function, the coffee machine will start to make Cappuccino. If you have
selected “Powder”, the display will show:

Gently extract and pull out the coffee machine. Open the coffee powder cover and use a spoon to
fill coffee powder.
Upon completed, gently push back the coffee machine and press “OK” button on the control
panel.
Once ready, select the duration and output or press “OK” to start making Latte.
7.6 Making Hot Milk or Hot Cream Using Steam Function
Make sure the milk is added in the cup as this picture shown below:
Rotate the milk cream unit to the desired function. Turn anti-clockwise for hot cream and turn
clockwise for hot milk.

From the main menu, select the function “Steam” and the coffee machine will start heating up.
When the heating process is completed, the screen will show “Steam ready. Open tap”.
Press “OK” button and the coffee machine will spray steam automatically. You can then adjust the
steaming output duration by moving the key horizontally or press +1 / -1 button on the screen.
Press “OK” button to confirm the setting.
After the program has completed, the screen will show
Press “OK”button and the coffee machine will rinse milk unit automatically and go back to ready
state.

8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before performing any cleaning operation, leave the machine to cool down completely and
unplug from the electrical mains. Never immerse the coffee machine into water. Do not use
solvents or abrasive detergents to clean the coffee machine. Never wash any of the components
of the coffee machine in the dishwasher. Use a soft damp cloth to clean the appliance.
8.1 Cleaning the Coffee Machine
The following parts of the machine should be cleaned regularly:
1) Coffee ground container
2) Drip Tray
3) Water Tank
4) Coffee Spouts
5) Steam Nozzle
6) Pre-ground coffee funnel
8.2 Cleaning the Coffee Ground Container
When “Empty Ground" message is displayed on the screen, the ground container should be
emptied and cleaned. Until the ground container has been cleaned, the appliance will continue to
display the message and coffee cannot be made.
To clean it, extract the drip tray and remove the ground container for cleaning. Empty the ground
container and clean thoroughly to remove all residues left on the bottom.
Note: If the drip tray is not emptied regularly, the water could overflow from the edge and seep
inside or around the coffee machine. This could damage the appliance and surrounding cabinet.
8.3 Cleaning the Drip Tray
The coffee machine has an automatic alarm by containing waste water in the drip tray and the
display will show “Empty Tray” message. It means that you have to take out the drip tray and
remove all the residual.
1) Extract the drip tray.
2) Remove the grounds container.
3) Take out metal drip tray and bracket.
4) Wash the drip tray.
8.4 Cleaning the Water Tank
Clean the water tank regularly recommended about once a month with a damp cloth and a little
mild washing liquid. Clean to remove all washing liquid residues then rinse the water tank
thoroughly.

8.5 Cleaning the Spouts
Clean the spouts periodically using a sponge or cloth. Check regularly that the holes in the coffee
spout are not blocked. If necessary, use a pin to poke the hole and clean it.
8.6 Cleaning the Pre-ground Coffee Funnel
Check regularly (about once a month) that the pre-ground coffee funnel is not blocked. If
necessary, remove coffee deposits with a knife.
Before performing any cleaning operations the machine must be turned off by turning off the
main switch and unplugged from the electrical mains.
8.7 Cleaning the Inside of the Coffee Machine
Check regularly (about once a week) that the inside of the appliance is not dirty. If necessary,
remove coffee deposits with a knife and a sponge. Remove the residues with a vacuum cleaner.
8.8 Cleaning the Infuser
When you make total 300 cup of coffee, LCD may display “Clean Brew” message. At this stage you
can still able to make Coffee and all the functions. However we suggest you to do the cleaning
program as soon as possible. Proceed as follows:
After 300 cups of coffee has been made, the display will show “Clean Brew” message.
Press “OK” key and the screen will show “Empty tray”.

Extract the drip tray with purified water and let drip tray back to its original position. Then the
coffee machine will display:
That mean you have to gently extract and pull out the coffee machine and add in tablet in Coffee
Powder cap. The display will show:
Press “OK” button and the coffee machine will start the cleaning program automatically.
The coffee machine will clean automatically about 10 minutes. You can manually set the program
by selecting “Setting” from the main menu and select “Cup Statistic”.
