DescriptionDescription
LILLILLIL pigpigpig
We really, really appreciate that you have chosen to
put your hard earned gear dollars into one of our
pedals. It means the world to us.
Thank you!
Having done extensive market research, we can
safely assume that you – the kindly patron gener-
ously reading this manual – are a legend in your
field. We see you there, laughing like a maniac atop
a pile of your vanquished foes. You're looking for a
new dirt tone, piled high with harmonics, but you
don't have all day to dial it in. We totally get it!
Thus, the Lil Pig; all of the craziness of the Pigpile (our
hog wild take on the Harmonic Percolator) in a
smaller package, stripped to the essential controls.
A slightly tweaked voicing means the Lil Pig is
familiar to its Pigpile roots, but different enough to
be at home on the same pedalboard. The Lil Pig is
perfect for those twenty minute breaks between
discovering a new species of whale and negotiating
the movie rights - grip it, rip it, and apologize to the
landlord later.
Below you’ll find a few of our favorite settings to get
you started!
Little. Pink. Different.

Level
Standard-issue volume control.
Hi-Cut
Active treble control buried in the middle of the HPP,
and is thus also interactive with the Harm and brutality
controls. Hi-Cut works a bit like the tone control on
your guitar, but backwards – the further clockwise
you go, the more highs you cut.

Gain control for the classic Harmonic Porkolating
Pair transistor configuration, which can generate
everything from thick overdrive to sizzling fuzz to
freaky windswept nuclear blasts. Clockwise means
more grit, nastiness, and sustain. The beefed
(porked?) -up JFET pre-amp is located before this
control, so things will get wild quickly!
harm
Adjusts the balance of input-to-feedback inside the
HPP, and therefore the intensity and character of the
chaotic interactions created. Turn it clockwise to
make the Lil Pig behave in a more traditional fashion.
Roll it counterclockwise back to allow more intense
Porkolations and get progressively weirder tones.
Phantom octaves, crazy harmonics, and other
sundry goodness. It’s not a brutality
control, it’s all brutal. Choose and perish.
Brutality
Heads Up: The harm and brutality controls are super
interactive – tweak ‘em both and see what magic
and/or evil you can find in there!
All electrofoods, ultd. pedals come with the following
features:
-True-bypass switching
-Ultra low noise metal film resistors
-Sealed trimpots for long life & minimum bias drift
-Oversized, high-quality Panasonic electrolytic
supply caps
-High-quality WIMA film caps
-Low noise star-ground wiring on the input jack
-Custom-designed PCB
-Hand-built, hand-wired, hand-biased quality
-Lifetime free repairs for any pedal.
(This covers
normal-use type repairs, even if you're not the original
purchaser. It doesn't cover fixing a pedal you tried to mod,
threw overhand at your drummer, or blew up with the
wrong power supply.)
-Use only CENTER NEGATIVE DC power supplies,
designed for use with pedals. Other types of
supplies can and will damage your pedal.
-We recommend 9V DC supplies, but you can also
run your lil pig up to 24V DC. DO NOT run your
pedal any higher than 24V DC or damage can
occur.
-DO NOT adjust any internal trimpots. We set them
very carefully for ideal circuit and sonic function.
