+5°C.If thethermostatcontrol is set toatoo cold
temperature,food withahigh watercontent may
start tofreeze ifit hasbeen placedinthe coldest
placesinthefridge.Thepictureshowsthe coldest
and warmestplacesinsidethefridge.

Meat,fishand milkshould beput inthe coldestpart
ofthe cabinet.
Thetemperaturewill be affecteed by:
·Howoftenthedoorisopened
·Howmuchfood is stored

Measuring thetemperature
Hints:
·Distributefoodstuffstoallowcoldairto
circulatefreely betweentheproducts.
·Do notplace food productsdirectlyagainst the
cooling plateon therearwall since theymay
freeze inthiscase.
·Also neverputwarmproductsintothe cabinet.
Wait until they have cooled down.
·Coverall foodsproperlytoavoid odoursand
flavoursfrom tainting other food.
Switching off
Turnthe controlanti-clockwisepast the click
position to”H”.
Unplug thepowersupply plug from thewall socket
or,alternatively, removethefuse.
Alarms and otherfeatures
Dividingplate
Thedividing plateseparatesthe chillercompartment
from thefridge.Thedividing platefeaturesagrille
thatcan beopenedand closedtocontrol the amount
ofcoldairentering the chillercompartment.When
thegrilleisopened, the chillercompartmentwill
become colder.
Infridgeswithasingledoor,thedividing plate can
bemovedtoincreasethesize oftherefrigerator
compartment.Thedividing plateshouldalwaysbe
placed underthedripchanneland oppositeadoor
compartment.

Thevegetabledrawerhasaremovableplateto

Theshelvesand doorcompartmentsareremovable
and caneasily bere-arranged.
Certainshelvesmustbeliftedupbytherearedgeto
enablethem to beremoved.
Thelowerdoorcompartmentand theglass shelf
abovethevegetabledrawermustnotbemoved.
Theyarerequiredforproperaircirculation insidethe
cabinet.
Shelveswitharaisededgeshould beplacedwiththe
raisededgefacing therearwall ofthe cabinet,and
thuspreventfood productsfrom touching the
cooling plate.
Hanginghalf-shelf
Thehalf-shelfcan bemovedsideways.Itcan be
hung underall doorshelves,except thelowestone.

Saving energy
·Paycarefulattention towherethe cabinet is
placed. See thesection ”Installation”.When
installedcorrectly, the cabinetwill consumeless
energy.
·Trytoavoid keeping thedooropenforlong
periods, oropening thedoortofrequentlyas
warm
airwill enterthe cabinet,and causethe
compressortoswitch on unnecessarily often.
·Ensurethere areno obstructionsprevending the
door fromcloosing properly.
·Thawfrozenfood inthefridge.Thiswill ensure
saferdefrosting of foodsand reduce thework of
therefridgeration unit
·It isadvisableto periodicallycleanthe
refrigeration systemat theback ofthe appliance
withadusterorvacuumcleaner.
·Alwaysleavewarmfood tocooldowntoroom
temperaturebeforeplacing inthefridge.
·Makesurethedoorgasket iscomplete and

Food Storage
·To obtainthebestresultsfromyourappliance,
neitherhotfoodsnorliquidswhichmayevaporate,
should beplacedinthelardercompartment.
·Avoid buying frozenfood ifyou can notstoreit
straightaway. Theuseofanisulatedcontaineris
advisable.When you arrivehomeplace thefrozen
food inthefreezerimmediately.
·Ensurethatfood placedinthefreezerisdatedand
labelledand usedin dateordertoensurethatfood is
consumedat itsbest.
Removesuspectfood fromyou refrigeratorand
clean, refertocleaning and maintenance.

Maintenance and Cleaning GB
Removing the ventilation grille
Theventilation grille can beremoved, e.g. towash
thegrille.
Makesurethedoorisopenwhenremoving the
ventilation grille.Unsnaptheupperedgeofthegrille
by pulling outward/downward. Then pull thegrille
straightout tocompletelyremoveit.
Cleaning
Cleanthe cabinetatregularintervals.
Do ntusedetergents,abrasivepowers,
high perfumedcleaning products,wax
polishesorcleaning products
containing bleach oralcoholwhen
cleaning theproduct
Clean out thedripchannel insidethefridge at
regularintervalsand ensurethat thedripchannel is
clearatt all times.If bockedcarefullyclearusing a
piece of flexible curtainwireinsertedintothedrain
outlet toremovetheblockage.
Discconnect the appliance fromelectricitysupply.
InternalCleaning
Cleantheinside and accossorieswithwarmwather
and bicarbonateofsoda(5ml to 0,5 literwater) Rise
and drythoroughly.
Regularlycheckthedoorsealsand wipe cleanto
ensurtheyare cleanand free fromdebris.
ExternalCleaning
Washtheoutercabinetwithwarmsopy water.
Removetheventilation grille(see thesection
”Removing theventilation grille”)and vacuum-clean
underthe cabinet.Twiceayearpull out the cabinet
from thewall and vacuum-cleanthebacksideofthe
cabinet,therefrigerating systemand the compressor.
Whenmoving the cabinet,liftitby
thefrontedgetoavoidscratching the
floor.

Defrosting thefridge
Thefridgeisdefrostedautomaticallyeverytimethe
compressorstops.Frostformation can beprevented
by:
·notputting warmfoodstuff insidethe cabinet.
·avoiding frequently opening thedoororkeeping
it opentoo long.
·do notplace foodstuffsdirectlyagainst the cold
cooling plate.
To ChangetheLightBulb
Thelight is switchedonautomaticallywhenthe
doorisopened. Beforereplacing thelightbulb,
disconnect thepowerplug from theoutlet.
Press thespring togetherand pushthegrille
downwardat thesametime.
2. Cut thepackaging around thebulbsocket.
3. Keepthepackaging on to holdthebulbwhen
setting it intothesocket.Do not touchthebulbwith
yourbarefingers.Halogenlightbulbsaresensitive
to greasefrom theskin.
Useaclear,UV-blocked, low-pressuretypehalogen
lightbulb. SocketG4. Voltage12 V.Power rating
20 W/bulb.
Whenthe appliance isnotin use
Discconnect the appliance fromelectricitysupply.
Emptyall foodsand cleanthe appliance,leaving the
doorsajarto preventunpleasantsmells.
If the cabinetwill bekepton, asksomebody to
checkit once inawhileto prevent thefood inside
fromspoiling incaseofapower failure.

Distributethefood productstoallowcoldairtocirculate
around them.
Makesurethat thedooriscompletelyclosedand that the
insulating stripiscomplete and clean.
Thetemperaturewherethe cabinet isplacedisabovenormal
room temperature.
Itistoo coldinsidethe refrigerator.Setahighertemperature.
Vegetablesand otherproductsthatare easilyfrozen havebeen
placedona ”too cold”shelf.See the chapter”Temperature
insidetherefrigerator”.
There iswater onthe coolingplateinside
the refrigerator.Thisisnormal.During automaticdefrosting, frost thawson the cooling plate.
Water isrunninginsidethe refrigerator.Cleanthewaterdrainand drain holeinsidetherefrigerator
using e.g. cotton swabsorabottle cleanerbrush.
Somefood productscould havebeen placedcausing thewater
fromrunning intothedrain.
Water comesoutonthefloor.Place thedrain hose at theback ofthe cabinetabovethedrain
bowl.See the chapter”Beforeusing the cabinet thefirst time”.
The compressoroperatescontinuously. Setahighertemperature.
Makesurethat thedooriscompletelyclosedand that the
insulating stripiscomplete and clean.
Thetemperaturewherethe cabinet isplacedisabovenormal
room temperature.
Sound level incabinetistoo high.Therefrigerating systemwill alwaysproduce somesounds.A
pulsing sound isheardwhencoolant ispumpedinsidethe
cooling pipes.Aticking sound from thethermostatcan be
heardwhenthe compressorswitcheson and off.Thesound
levelvariesdepending on theoperation ofthe cabinet.
If you feel thesound level isincorrect:
Makesurethepipesat theback ofthe cabinetnot toucheach
other.Carefully bend them ifthey do.
If the cushion spacers(betweenthe cabinetwall and pipes)
comeloose, put thembackin place again.
Carefullyfollowtheinstructionsinthe chapter”Installing the
cabinet”.

Removethetape and thetransportsupportsfrom
·thedoorsides
·insidethedoorhinges
·theshelves
Removethetransportsupporton theglass shelfby
pushing thesupportforwardalong the edgeofthe
shelfuntil it stopsat theprotuberance oftheshelf.
Takehold oftherearedgeoftheglass shelfand pull
theshelfand transportsupportforward until the
shelftiltsand thetransportsupportcan beremoved.
Somemodelsarefittedwithasilencing pad under
the cabinet.Do notremovethispad.
Cleaning
Washtheinsideofthe cabinetusing lukewarm
water,amildwashing-up detergentand asoftcloth.
Installing the cabinet
To otainthebestperformance from the cabinet,ensure
:
·the cabinet isplacedinadry, coolplace and
isnotexposedto directsunlight.
·the cabinet isnotplacedclosetoasource of
heat,e.g. a cookerordishwasher.
·theroom inwhichthe cabinet isplaced
hasatemperatureof+16°Cto+32°C.
·the cabinet islevel.The cabinetshould not lean
againstany wall.If necessaryadjust the
feetusing thesuppliedadjustmentspanner.
·thereisgood aircirculation around the cabinet
and that the airchannelsbelowand behind
the cabinetarenotblocked. Theventilation
space abovethe cabinetand any
grocery/top cabinet mustbe at least200 cm2.
Theventilation space caneitherbe
a)directlyabovethe cabinet, or
b)behind and abovethetop cabinet.Inthiscase,
thespace behind the cabinet mustbe at least
50 mm deep.

DoorReversal
1. Closethe cabinetand pull out theplug from the
electricaloutlet.
2. Removetheventilation grille.Thereisaparton
thegrillethatcan beremoved. Removeit and put it
on theotherside.
3. Put the cabineton awooden boardwhenit islaid
down. Later,whenraising the cabinet,it will be
easierto grip underthe cabinet thankstotheboard.
4. Ontheupperpartofthe cabinet.Put thehingepin
on theotherside.
Onthelowerpartofthe cabinet.
5aUnscrewthehinge.
5b Removethedoor-closing fittingsfrom thehinge
and put thehingepinontheotherside.Thenattach
thesupplied door-closing fitting.
6a.Removethedoor-closing fitting from thebottom
ofthedoor.
6b. Removetheplasticplug from the corresponding
holeon theotherside.Useascrewdrivertorockthe
plug loose.Thensecurethesupplied door-closing
fitting.
6c.Securethelowerhinge.
7. Raisethe cabinetand replace theventilation grille.
8. Unscrewthehandle.Carefully press intheplastic
plugson theoppositesideusing adrift.Securethe
handleintheplug holes.Then press thesupplied
plasticplugsintotheholestowhichthehandlewas
previouslyfitted.
9. Put the cabinet in position. Checkthatitstands
straight.See thesection ”Positioning the cabinet”.

Electricalconnection
Thisappliance mustbe earthed.
If theplug that isfittedto yourappliance isnot
suitableforyoursocketoutlett,it mustbe cutofand
the appropriateplug fitted.
Removethefusefrom the cutoff plug.The cutoff
plug shouldthen bedisposed ofto prevent the
hazard ofsocket inanotherpartofyourhome.
Thewiresinthemainsleadare colouredin
accordance withthefollowing code:
Greenand yellow-Earth
Blue-Neutral
Brown-Live
If you fit yourown plug, the coloursofthe Wiresin
themainslead ofyourappliance may not
correspond withthemarkingsidentifying the
terminalsin yourplug, proceedasfollows:
Connect theGreenand Yellow(earth)wiretothe
terminal intheplug whichismarkedwiththeletter
”E”orthe earthsymbolorcoloured greeenand
yellow.
Connnect theblue(neutral)wiretotheterminal in
theplug whichismarkedwiththeletter”N”or
coloured black
Connect thebrown(live)wiretotheterminal inthe
plug whichismarkedwiththeletter”L”orcoloured
red.
Theplug moulded ontotheleadincorporatesafuse.
For replacement, usea13ampBSI362 fuse.Onely
ASTAorBSIapprovedfuses should beused.
Theplug mustnotbeusedifthefuse cover/carrieris
lost.The cover/carrierisindicatedbythe coloured
insertat thebaseoftheplug.
Areplacementcover/carriermustbeobtainedfrom
yourlocalService Force Centre.
