Inserting the batteries
• Openthebatterycover.
• Insert2xAAAbatteriesasindicatedinsidethebatterycompartment.
• Whenthebatteriesareinposition,replacethebatterycover.
Using your Emjoi BodyBare Diva
• BeforeusingEmjoiBodyBareDivaforthefirsttime,werecommendthatyou
familiariseyourselfwithhowtheappliancefeelsontheskin.Trytheunitonthe
backofthehandbeforeusingitondelicateareassuchastheface.
• Ensurethattheskiniscleananddry.Donotuseoverbodylotionsormoisturisers.
Useinalocationthathasacomfortabletemperaturetoavoidperspiration.
• Whenremovinghairitisveryimportanttoholdtheskinverytauttoavoidpinching.
• Theappliancecanbeusedtoremoveindividualfacialhair,ontheupperlip,chin
andcheekarea.
• Important:TakeextracarewhenusingtheEmjoiBodyBareDivaontheupperlip.
Holdtheskinverytautbygentlypullingdownontheareawithyourfingers.
• DonotusetheEmjoiBodyBareDivaoneyebrows.Itcanbeusedinbetweenyour
eyebrows.
Using your Emjoi BodyBare Diva

• Itcanalsobeusedonlegs,underarmsandthebikiniline asatouchup.
• Ifhairislongerthan5mm,trimwithscissorsbeforeuse.
• Toturnontheappliance,presstheon/offswitchsafetylockandatthesametimeslide
ituptothepositionlabelled .
• Oncetheapplianceisintheonpositionholdata90degreeangletotheareayou
wishtoremovehair,andglideitinshortquickstrokesagainstthedirectionofthehair
growth.
• Thereisnoneedtoapplypressure.Iftoomuchpressureisapplied,theEmjoi
BodyBareDivaisdesignedtostop.
• Toturntheapplianceoffslidetheon/offswitchdowntotheoffpositionlabelled .
Replacing your batteries
• Toreplacebatteries,slidethebatterycoverfromitsoriginalpositionthenremovethe
oldbatteriesandreplacethemwithnewbatteries(makesurethatyouinsertbatteries
intoyourdeviceproperly,withthe+(plus)and–(minus)terminalsalignedcorrectly.)
Finallyslidethecoverbackon.Differenttypesofbatteriesornewandusedbatteries
arenottobemixed.
• IfAlkalinebatteriesareused,theycanbesafelydisposedofwithnormalhousehold
wastewhenexhausted.Ifunsure,contactyourlocalcouncilwithregardstobattery
disposalpracticeinyourarea.Neverdisposeofbatteriesinfireastheycouldexplode.
• Alwaysweareyeprotectionandgloveswhendealingwithleakingbatteries.

Care and Cleaning
•Donotimmersetheapplianceinwateroranyotherliquid.
•Tocleantheexterior,simplywipeoverwithadampenedclothandwipedry.
•Aftereachusegentlyremovehairsfromthetweezersusingthecleaningbrushsupplied.
•Occasionallycleanthetweezersbywipingwithacottonbudthathasbeendippedinalcohol.
Removeanyresiduealcoholbeforeusingagain.
