Technical Data Sheet
1 kWp-Stand Alone Solar Power Plant-Configuration SRTP/2N- ANERT
System Description
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Modules generates DC electricity in proportion to the amount of sunlight available
and generates more power on a clear day when the sun is at a normal angle to modules. The power
generated from the PV module will be supplied to the Load through the Solar PCU (Charge Controller
+ Inverter) which will convert DC Power to AC power, monitor and control the charging and discharging
of battery.
EMMVEE-1kWp Stand Alone Solar PV Power Plant is designed with the following
major components
•Solar Photovoltaic Module – 1000 Wp
•Solar PUC ( MPPT Charge Controller + Inverter)-1000 W
•Solar Low Maintenance Lead acid Battery-7200 Wh (24 Volts, 300Ah @ C10
• Solar Module Mounting Structure. • Copper Cable.
Technical Specifications
Solar Photovoltaic Module
PV Module nominal Power 250 Wp (4Nos)
Maximum Power Point Voltage (Vmp) 30.06 Volts
Maximum Power Point Current (Imp) 8.32 Amps
Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) 36.78 Volts
Short Circuit Current (Isc) 8.75 Amps
Solar Power Conduction Unit (MPPT Charge Controller+ Inverter )
System Voltage 24 Volts
Inverter Nominal Power 1000 W 1 Phase 230V AC 50Hz out put
Inverter Efficiency >80%
Charge Controller Technology MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)
PV Protection Reverse flow Protection from Battery to PV Module
Electronic Protection for Low battery, Short circuit & Over Load Protection at the input & output
Working Technology
The PCU takes solar power as First priority to supply the load and charge battery, if there is NO
solar power available, then it will take form the Battery as second priority to support the load, in
case there is NO solar and also Battery goes below the set value then as last priority it will draw
Grid power to supply the load and also to charge the battery to pre set value.
System Usage
•Maximum allowed continuous load at any point of time 1000 W
•75% of Rated capacity of the battery shall be between fully charged & load Cutoff
condition. This is equal to 5400Wh.
•The Energy used from the battery can be re-charged during clear sunny day.
•However the amount of charging varies with the Sunshine condition during the day
Area required for Solar PV Modules installation: 15 M2²
Warranty
Complete System is warranted for 60 Months from the date of installation of the system / invoice
(EMMVEE warrantee terms shall be applicable).

Module mounting structure
PV modules are designed to be installed outdoors without additional protection. A mounting structure must be
constructed to support the modules in all weather conditions. The PV array should be mounted so as to take full
advantage of the sunlight. In the northern hemisphere, it should face south; true south is best, depending on the
latitude of installation the deviation from true south will have a an effect on the radiation received on the tilted
plane of the modules and hence on the energy production. Very large installations can be mounted to track the
sun either automatically or manually. In most cases, the mounting is xed at one angle (a right angle to the sun
at noon), but can be adjusted according to the season. Select a site where the solar module will not be shaded
at any point during the day sunshine hours. PV module can be mounted on a roof/ ground. Refer as for Module
Mounting Structure drawing for 4 X 250Wp-MMS-02.as below
PV Module Interconnection
PV Module are connected in series / Parallel as below. In two modules are connected series and 2 strings are in
parallel.
Note: Following color shall be used during installation
•Red Terminal for + conductor Terminal Connector
•Black Terminal for –ve conductor Terminal Connector
•Green Terminal for – Structure / body of the electrical components (Earthing)

6
DC/AC Distribution Box
In the DC/AC DB are proposed : DC section & AC section , the schematic diagram of DC/AC DB is as below
DC/AC DISTRIBUTION BOX
Note
The DC/AC DB shall be mounted on a vertical wall at a convenient height (1.2 mtr above floor level) . Mounting hardware in available inside the box.

7
Battery Bank
The battery need to be installed in a well ventilated place on a wooden stand supplied. Handling battery are
interconnected as below for 24V system.
