dispositivo y de sus características básicas. Te aconsejamos que leas el
presente manual de usuario para disfrutar del producto de una manera

6. ALIMENTACIÓN
Tu
Energy™ Clock Radio 400 , se alimenta mediante la conexión adaptador
USB a la corriente y el cable USB al dispositivo. De igual forma se puede
alimentar colocando las baterías (4xAAA no incluidas) en el compartimen-
to correspondiente.
2.1. CONSIDERACIONES SOBRE SEGURIDAD
≥ No desarme ni modifique el dispositivo.
≥ No exponga su Energy™ Clock Radio 400 a goteos, salpicaduras o
condiciones húmedas.
≥ No permita que el dispositivo se moje.
≥ Mantenga el producto lejos de fuentes de calor tales como radiadores
o estufas.
≥ No coloque fuentes de llama desnuda, como velas, cerca del dispositivo.
≥No deje que el dispositivo sufra golpes o caídas.
≥Desenchufar durante tormentas eléctricas.
≥En caso de periodos largos de inactividad es preferible desenchufar el
dispositivo.

8. INSTALACIÓN DE LA PILA
Retire la tapa de las pilas en la parte inferior de la base y coloque las pilas
indicadas.
Guarde las pilas fuera del alcance de los niños. Si alguna persona se traga
una pila de botón o una batería deberá recibir inmediatamente ayuda
médica.
No intente reactivar las pilas por medio de calor, cargándolas, o por otros
medios. No arroje las baterías al fuego, desmonte o cortocircuite. Cambie
las baterías, como mínimo, una vez al año para evitar que se derramen.

10. FUNCIONES GENERALES
Radio reloj despertador con dos alarmas programables, radio FM y repro-
ductor de archivos MP3.
Reproduce archivos en formato MP3 desde tarjetas de memoria SD/MMC
o memorias externas USB. También puedes conectar un reproductor de
audio externo (como por ejemplo un reproductor de MP3 o un ordenador
portátil) y amplificar el sonido en sus altavoces, gracias a la entrada de
línea “line-in”.
Para seleccionar entre las diferentes funciones de USB, SD/MMC, Radio
FM y “line-in” hay que pulsar el botón MODE.
10.1. CALENDARIO
Para ajustar la fecha es necesario:
≥Mantener presionado el botón SET, visualizaremos que el año esta
intermitente y con

(avance) y

(retroceso) ajustarás el año
deseado.
≥Para ajustar el día, mes y hora hay que seguir los mismos pasos.
≥Para confirmar el ajuste se puede presionar cualquier otro botón o
esperar 5 segundos y el sistema confirmará automáticamente.
10.2. ALARMAS
Para programar las alarmas es necesario:
≥Presionar el botón

para programar la primera alarma y mantener-
lo presionado para entrar al ajuste. Sobre la pantalla aparecerá el ícono

parpadeando al igual que el reloj; utilizando los botones

y

ajustamos la hora en la que deseamos que se active la alarma.
≥Finalmente presionar SET para confirmar.
≥Para programar la segunda alarma hay que presionar

y seguir los
pasos anteriores.
10.3. REPETICIÓN DE ALARMA (SNOOZE)
Cuando alguna de las alarmas está sonando, si presionamos SNOOZE la
alarma se detiene y trascurridos 5 minutos la alarma vuelve a sonar.
Para apagar la alarma hay que presionar el botón de la alarma correspondiente.
10.4. ILUMINACIÓN DE LA PANTALLA
Se cuenta con tres diferentes niveles de intensidad en la iluminación de la
pantalla (alto / normal / bajo). La intensidad se regula pulsando el botón
SNOOZE/DIMMER.
10.5. TEMPORIZADOR (SLEEP)
Para activar el temporizar hay que presionar el botón SLEEP y aceptar
cualquiera de las opciones que aparecen (OFF, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 o 120
minutos). Por defecto el temporizador se encuentra apagado (OFF).

10.6. CONTROL DE VOLUMEN
Para el control de volumen sólo hay que mantener presionado el botón

(si
queremos aumentar el volumen) o

(si queremos disminuir el volumen).
10.7. FUNCIÓN RADIO FM
Para usar la función radio, en primer lugar hay que pulsar el botón MODE para
seleccionar le opción de radio; seguidamente se hace una búsqueda de canales que
quedará almacenada para posteriormente seleccionar entre canales.
No será necesario repetir esta búsqueda a menos que se cambie de localización,
modificándose así la sintonía de la emisora deseada.
Para realizar dicha sintonización de canales de radio, pulsa y mantén pulsado el
botón (

) durante 3 segundos. Esto almacenará todas las emisoras
encontradas en la memoria interna del dispositivo.

10.8. FUNCIÓN “LINE-IN”
Para usar la reproducción de “line-in”, conecta un extremo del cable de audio sumi-
nistrado, en la línea de entrada (16), y el otro extremo en la salida de un dispositivo
de audio, como un reproductor MP3, un altavoz portátil, una mini cadena, etc.
En reproducción de “line-in”, el Energy™ Clock Radio 400 se encuentra en modo
altavoces, por lo cual solamente se podrá controlar el volumen y el botón MODE
para cambiar de opción.
10.9.FUNCIÓN MP3 CON MEMORIAS EXTERNAS
Para reproducir archivos en formato MP3, inserta una memoria externa USB o
una tarjeta de memoria SD/MMC en las ranuras correspondientes; (13) y (14)
respectivamente.
Tendrás que pulsar MODE para seleccionar la opción USB / SD.
Cuando introduzcas una memoria externa en el Energy™ Clock Radio 400, bien
una tarjeta SD/MMC, bien una memoria USB, el dispositivo activará dicha memoria
automáticamente y comenzará la reproducción de los archivos MP3 contenidos en
la misma.
Si apagas el Energy™ Clock Radio 400 o extraes alguna de las memorias, se alma-
cenará el instante de reproducción en la memoria interna del dispositivo. De tal
forma, cuando vuelvas a conectar la misma memoria, continuará la reproducción en
el mismo instante donde lo dejaste.
10.10. ORDEN DE REPRODUCCIÓN
Las canciones o carpetas contenidas en las memorias se leen en orden alfabético.
De esta manera se podrá controlar el orden del contenido mediante los nombres
que asignemos a los archivos MP3 y las carpetas. Recomendamos copiar y ordenar
mediante el método mencionado en una carpeta ubicada en el ordenador, posterior-
mente copiaremos la carpeta entera y de una sola vez a la memoria a emplear en el
Energy™ Clock Radio 400.

12. CONDICIONES DE LA GARANTÍA
Durante un periodo de 36 meses a partir de la fecha de la primera compra
del producto por el consumidor, de conformidad con el RDL 1/2007, Energy
Sistem Soyntec S.A. responderá ante cualquier falta de conformidad que
exista en el momento de la entrega del bien, en los términos y bajo las
condiciones establecidaen la citada norma.
En el caso de que el bien no fuera conforme al contrato, y previa entrega
del ticket de compra o factura, se reconoce al comprador el derecho a la
reparación del bien, a su sustitución o, subsidiariamente, a la rebaja del
precio o a la resolución del contrato, de conformidad con la citada Norma.
Esta garantía no será aplicable si el defecto ha sido causado por el
comprador y/o por cualquier tercero debido a uso indebido, negligencia,
uso o empleo del Bien distinto a aquel para el que fue concebido, uso o
instalación del producto no conforme con las instrucciones del manual,
o por cualquier otra causa no relacionada con defectos de material o
fabricación.
Esta garantía es independiente y compatible con la Garantía Legal estable-
cida por el RD 1/2007.

3. SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
≥ Do not disassemble the device. Any repair work must be performed by
qualified Energy Sistem Soyntec’s technical personnel.
≥ Do not use the Clock Radio in humid or damp conditions.
≥ Do not allow your Clock Radio to get wet.
≥ Keep the product away from direct sunlight and heat source such as
radiators or stoves.
≥ Do not place naked flame sources, such as candles, on the top of the
Clock Radio.
≥ Avoid any drop or hit on the Clock Radio.
≥ Switch off during thunderstorms.
≥ In case of long inactivity periods we recommend to switch off the Clock
Radio.

There are no user serviceable parts in this Clock Radio.

9. BATTERIES INSTALLATION
Remove the cover of the battery compartment and introduce the 4xAAA
batteries (not included).
Don’t let the batteries from the reach of children.
Don't try to activate the batteries by heat, recharge or any other way. Don’t drop
the batteries to the fire, disassemble or try to do a short circuit.

10.1. FUNCTION INSTRUCTIONS
Clock Radio with dual alarm, FM and MP3 player.
Plays MP3 files from SD/MMC slot or any pendrive. You can plug any other
external audio device (like MP3 player or laptop) using the “line-in” audio
input, increasing the audio sound.
To select the different options as USB, SD/MMC, FM and AUX you have to
press the MODE key.
10.2. CALENDAR
To adjust the calendar:
≥Press and hold the SET key, you can see the year flashing and with the
keys (next)

and

((previous) you will select the correct
year.
≥To adjust the day, month and time you have to use the same method.
≥Press any other key to confirm the adjust or wait for 5 seconds and the
system will exist automatically.
10.3. ALARMS
To program the alarms:
≥Press and hold the

key to enter the settings of the alarm. In the
LCD display you will see

flashing as well as the clock; use

and

keys to adjust the correct alarm time that you want.
≥Finally press SET to confirm.
≥To program the second alarm you have to press the

key and follow
the same method as before.
10.4. SNOOZE MODE (SNOOZE)
When any of the alarms is ringing , if you press SNOOZE the sound turns
off automatically come on again after about 5 minutes.
≥To turn off the alarm you have to press corresponding alarm key.
10.5. BACKLIGHT CONTROL (DIMMER)
You have three different backlight levels (bright / dim / off). Press SNOO-
ZE/DIMMER to choose the level that you want.
10.6. POWER TIMER (SLEEP)
To activate the power timer press SLEEP key. The time can be set as OFF,
15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 or 120 minutes. OFF is the default status.

10.7. VOLUME CONTROL
Press and hold the

key to increase the volume or press and hold the

key to decrease the volume.
10.8. FM RADIO
To use the FM function you have to press the Mode key and select the FM option;
you have to search the channels to keep them record. You do not have to do this
record again if you keep the same localization.
To reach the channels automatically press the (

) key during 3 seconds. You
will find the radio stations kept in the internal memory of the device.
Use

and

to make a fine adjust.
10.9.AUX “LINE-IN”
To use the line-in jack, connect the audio cable (included) in the audio input (16)to
the external audio device (MP3 player, laptop, micro audio system, etc.)
When you use the AUX mode, the el Energy™ Clock Radio 400 is on speakers funtion
and you can control the volume.
10.10. MP3 FUNCTION WITH EXTERNAL MEMORIES
To play MP3 files, insert an external memory such as an USB stick or a SD/
MMC card in the corresponding slots: (13) & (14) respectively.
You have to press MODE to select the correct option USB / SD.
When you introduce one of these external memories in the Energy™ Clock Radio
400, the device will active that memory automatically and will start to play the
MP3 files.
If you switch off the Energy™ Clock Radio 400 or remove any external memory,
the instant of the reproduction will be saved in the internal memory. By this way,
when you insert again the same external, the reproduction will continue in the same
instant that you left it previously.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When storing audio files on external memory, we recommend
you to rename the files in order to remember the contents of each memory . This will
help you while navigating through tracks.
10.11. ORDER REPRODUCTION
The MP3 files, as contents in the external memories, will be read in alphabetical
order. This allows you to control the order of contents by the names you assign to
the MP3 files.
We recommend you to rename and compy the files in a carpet in your computer and
copy it in only one time the carpet in the external memory that you will use with the
Energy™ Clock Radio 400.
