1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing one of the Enjoy Birds More family of prod-
ucts. We hope this Universal Camera Stand will extend the use of
your camera.
2. Setting Up Your Stand
After unpacking your Camera Stand, open the 3 legs, position and
tighten them at the bottom of the stand.
Fit the wand (if you wish to use it) to the top of upright part of the
stand at the joint shown.
The stand is designed to be a versatile way of positioning your camera
for exactly the pictures you want. If you wish, you can attach the cam-
era to the top of the vertical part of the stand. Alternatively, you can fit
the camera to the end of the boom and either fit the boom onto the ver-
tical part of the stand or simply hold the boom in your hand (for look-
ing over walls etc or pond dipping).
To fit, first remove the knurled nuts from the top of the vertical post
and the end of the boom. You will find 3 or 4 nuts like this:
Page 1

Page 4
Attach the camera using the two Nylon Washers supplied, and one of
the flat knurled nuts you have just removed.
Fit the camera bracket over one of the threaded stubs at the end of
either the vertical post or boom, as follows:
1. Place one Washer over the stub
2. Pass the camera bracket over the stub (using the large central hole)
3. Place the second Nylon Washer over the stub
4. Screw one of the flat knurled nuts onto the end of the stub
5. Tighten with your fingers so that the camera is securely attached
Adjust the telescopic upright section of the stand, and the angle and
position of the wand to move the camera position to that desired .
Use the Reusable cable ties included to tidy the camera cable.
3. Using the Stand
The wand can be used on its own to hold the camera by hand for pond
dipping etc.
If you plan to leave the stand outside for a prolonged period, or use it
under water, we suggest you protect the metal parts of the stand with
petroleum jelly or similar, to reduce rusting.
