Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a VK7 device!
To ensure the optimal performance of this product, please take the time to read this manual carefully.
VK7 is a high performance, light weight, compact, portable gaming device. Each handset contains
internal batteries for power, and also has internal memory to store and run the products, games,
and patterns used to play Bingo.
1.1
Explanation of Admonitions
In this manual we use four (4) levels of admonitions as follows:
The Note symbol is used for notifying the user of something important or of something that needs
special attention.
TheCautionsymbolisused toinformofsomethingthat could cause harm to,or
malfunctionof,theequipment.
TheWarningsymbolis used to informofsomethinginwhichthereisa conceivablerisk of
harmtothe user ifthe Warning is ignored.
The High-Volume symbol is used to inform of something that can cause damage to hearing.

Intended Use
The VK7 tablet is a rechargeable, hand-held device used for playing bingo electronically.
Intended use is primarily an indoor environment.
The user can use the device and charge the device under normal circumstances.Theuser can maintain the device
and its accessories according to the user manual.
1.4
Package Contents
It is recommended to keep the original packaging materials for the VK7.
If device needs to be returned to Estone Technology for Warranty related issues or repair, it is beneficial
that the original packaging or equal equivalent is used for shipping. Most shipping carriers require at least 2 inches
of packing material around the device.
Note:Due to Joint Commission regulations,any shipping materials including boxes senttoEstone
Technology must be discarded.

The VK7 device has been tested and approved as compliant to all the Specifications and Standards listed in AppendixB
ComplianceInformation,page22ofthismanualand intheAppendixCTechnicalSpecifications,page25.Nevertheless,inor-
der to ensure safe operation of your VK7 device, there are a few safety warnings to bear in mind:
No modification of this equipment is allowed.
Do Not disassemble this product. You may receive an electric shock, or foreign matter may enter and result in a fire.
If a malfunction or trouble occurs,immediately turn the power off and unplug the AC plug. Then contact your
technical support office for repair.
Do not serviceor perform maintenance on thedevicewhilethe device isinuse.Make sure toshutthedevicedown
and unplug all cables before starting and service or maintenance work on the device.
2.1
Avoiding Hearing Damage
Permanent hearing loss may occurif earphones, headphones or speakers are used at high volume. To prevent this,
thevolumeshould be settoa safelevel. You canbecomedesensitized overtimetohigh sound levelswhichmay then
soundacceptableyet still couldbedamaging yourhearing.If you experience symptoms suchasringingin your ears,
pleaselowerthevolumeorstopusingtheearphones/headphones.Thelouderthevolume,thelesstimeisrequired
before your hearing could be affected.
Hearing experts suggest the following measures to protect your hearing:

Limit the amount of time you use earphones or headphones at high volume.
●
Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
●
Turn the volume down if you cannot hear people speaking near you.
To establish a safe volume level:
●
Set your volume control at a low setting.
●
Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it comfortably and clearly, without distortion.
2.2
Power Supply andBatteries
The VK7 device contains one rechargeable batteriy. Battery degrades over time. Thus, the possible us
age times for the
VK7 after a full charge can become shorter over time than when the device was new.

The VK7 device uses a Li-ion Polymer battery.
If you are in a hot environment, be aware that it can affect the ability to charge the battery. The internal temperature
mustbebetween0℃and40℃forthebatterytocharge.
Avoid exposing the VK7 device tofire orto temperatures above 60 ℃. These conditions may cause the bat
tery to
malfunction, generate heat, ignite or explode. Be aware that it is possible, in a worst-case scenario, for temper
atures
toreach greaterthanthosestatedabovein, forexample,thetrunk ofacaron ahotday.So,storingtheVK7 device,
in a hot car trunk could conceivably lead to a malfunction.
Only charge the VK7 battery in an ambient temperature of 0 ℃to 40℃.
UseonlythesuppliedpoweradaptertochargetheVK7device.Usingunauthorizedpoweradapters mayseverely
damage the VK7 device.
For safe operation of the VK7 device, use only charger and accessories approved by Estone Technology.
If the Power Supply Cord is damaged it needs to be replaced by Service Personnel only. Do not use the Power Sup-
ply Cord until replaced.
Disconnect the AC power plug of the Power adapter from the wall socket when not charging the device and
disconnect the power cable from the device.
Special regulations apply to shipping devices containing Li-ion Polymer batteries. If dropped, crushed, or short-
circuited,thesebatteriescanreleasedangerousamountsofheat, mayignite,andmaybedangerousinfires.

When charging/using, no one shall not touch the charging connector and the user simultaneously.Always keep the device
turned off when charging.

DonotopenthecasingoftheVK7device,sinceyoumaybeexposedtopotentiallyhazardouselectricalvoltage.The
device contains no user serviceable parts.
2.4
Software
Using an antivirus program is strongly recommended.
Software other than that which is pre-installed on the VK7 is installed at the user's own risk. External software could
cause the VK7 to malfunction and might not be covered by the warranty.
2.5
Third Party
AnyuseoftheVK7outsidetheintendeduseandtogetherwithanythird-party software or hardware that
changes the intended use is a risk and nothing that Estone Technology can take any responsibility for.
2.6
Troubleshooting and Customer Support
In most cases, restarting your device will cure any problems. To restart your device, Select Start and then
select Power - Shut down. If your device has crashed, hold down the power button or remote power button
for 5+ seconds to hard shutdown. Press it again to turn it back on.

A VK7 device has a multi Capacitive touch, LED Backlight screen. The VK7 has a 10″ screen with a 1920

Neverforceaconnectorintoaport. Ifthe connectorandportdonotjoin withreasonableease,theyprobablydonot
match. Make sure that the connector matches the port and that you have positioned the connector correctly in relation
to the port.
Be extra careful with the USB connectors.

4.1
Batteries
TheVK7 devicehas one built-inbattery.Ifthe VK7deviceisnot
charged or powered up by the power supply, the VK7 device will
shut down automatically.
4.2
Charging the Tablet
1.
Connect the Power cable to the charging port on the device.
2.
Connect the Power adapter to an electrical outlet and charge the tablet until the battery is fully charged.
3.
After your device is fully charged, disconnect the charger from both the device and the electrical outlet.
You can’t overcharge the battery. It is fine to charge the battery overnight.
You can use the VK7 while the battery is charging.

Using the VK7
No skill other than reading is necessary for setting up the VK7 device. Follow this User´s Manual and the Quick Start Manual.
5.1
Starting the Device
Start the device in one of the following ways:

Press the power button on the top of the device.
5.2
Shutting Down the VK7
The device should be shut down in the following way:
●
Use the start menu in Windows (recommended when possible).
Should you be unable to shut the device down using the above, you can hold the power button on the top side of the device
down for more than 20 seconds. The device will consequently shut down immediately, without waiting for open applications to
close.
Reset can be performed by holding the power button on the top side of the device for three (3) seconds
This is not considered a "clean" Windows shut down and is thus not recommended unless completely necessary
because it can harm yourdevice.

6.1
Temperature & Humidity
6.1.1
General Use - Operating temperature
The VK7 is best kept in dry conditions at room temperature. The recommended range for temperature and the humidity value
for the device is as follows:
●
Ambient temperature: 0℃to 45℃
●
Relative humidity: 10% to 90% (no condensation on the device)
●
Atmospheric Pressure: 80 kPa to 106 kPa (600 mmHg to 795 mmHg)
6.1.2
Transportation and Storage
For transportation and storage, the recommended range for temperature and the humidity value for the device is as follows:
●
Temperature: -20℃to 60℃(–4℉to140℉)
●
Relative humidity: 10% to 90% (no condensation on the device)
The device should not be kept in excessively humid, damp or otherwise wet conditions. Do not submerge the device in
water or in any other liquid. Be careful not to allow liquids to be spilled upon the device especially in the connector
areas.
6.2
Cleaning of the VK7 Device
Before cleaning the VK7 device,shut it down and unplug all cables. The VK7 may be cleaned using a hospital grade cleaning
product for infection control. The cleaning should be done using a wipe style product only. Wipe only outer surfaces of the
VK7deviceandallowtheproducttodrynaturallyorfollowthewipeinstructions.Donotusesprayproductwhichmaysaturate
the VK7 device or allow moisture into the unit.
6.3
Transporting the VK7 Device
Disconnect all the cables from the VK7 while carrying the device.
When you transport the device for repair, shipment or traveling, use the original casing and packaging materials.
It is recommended to keep the original packaging materials for the VK7.
IfdeviceneedstobereturnedtoEstone Technology for Warrantyrelatedissuesorrepair,itisbeneficialthatthe
original packagingorequalequivalentisusedfor shipping. Most shippingcarriers requireatleast2 inchesof
packingmaterial around the device.
Note:DuetoJointCommissionregulations,anyshippingmaterialsincludingboxessenttoEstone Technology
must be discarded.
6.4
Disposing of the VK7 Device
DonotdisposeoftheVK7Deviceingeneralhouseholdorofficewaste.Followyourlocalregulationsforthe disposalof
electrical and electronic equipment.
