CONSIGNES DE SECURITE
•Avant de brancher l’appareil, vérifiez que la

celle de votre installation électrique. Votre appareil
doit impérativement être branché sur une prise de
courant reliée à la terre.
•La réparation des appareils électriques doit
toujours être faite par un électricien qualifié. Une
réparation faite par un personnel non qualifié
exposerait l’utilisateur à un réel danger.
•Votre appareil est destiné à un usage domestique
à l’intérieur de votre habitation. Il ne peut être utilisé
dans un contexte commercial.
•Ne laissez pas le cordon d’alimentation entrer en
contact avec des surfaces chaudes ou pendre de votre
plan de travail à la portée de jeunes enfants.
•Ne placez pas l’appareil à proximité d’une source
de chaleur.
•Les parois de l’appareil deviennent chaudes lors
de l’utilisation. Afin d’éviter tout risque de brûlure, ne
touchez jamais les surfaces chaudes, utilisez une
manique ou des gants.
ATTENTION : Les surfaces accessibles peuvent
devenir très chaudes pendant le fonctionnement de
l’appareil.
Ne déplacez pas l’appareil lorsqu’il est chaud ou en
cours d’utilisation. Si vous devez le déplacer, éteignez-
le, débranchez-le et attendez qu’il refroidisse avant de
le déplacer. Utilisez toujours des gants de protection
pour déplacer l’appareil.
Débranchez toujours l’appareil après chaque
utilisation et débranchez-le avant de le nettoyer.

•Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon pour débrancher
l’appareil, ni pour le déplacer.

•Attention ! Laisser cuire des aliments sans
surveillance sur une table de cuisson en utilisant des
matières grasses ou de l’huile peut être dangereux et
déclencher un incendie.
•Ne jamais essayer d’éteindre un incendie avec de
l’eau, mais arrêter l’appareil puis couvrir les flammes

par exemple avec un couvercle ou une couverture
anti-feu.

de l’appareil, référez-vous au paragraphe ci-après de
la notice.

UTILISATION
Déballez l’appareil. Retirer toutes les étiquettes du produit. Veuillez
vérifier son exhaustivité et s’il est en bon état. Si l’appareil est
endommagé pou présente un dysfonctionnement, ne l’utilisez pas et
rapportez le à votre revendeur ou à un service après-vente.
Conservez tous les emballages hors de portée des enfants. Il existe un
risque d’accident si les enfants jouent avec les matériaux d’emballage.
•Posez la plaque sur une surface plane, sèche et résistante à la chaleur.
•Les boutons de réglage doivent se trouver en position "Eteint" (OFF).
Branchez l'appareil.
•Avant la première utilisation, faites chauffer l’appareil pendant 10
minutes afin de fixer le vernis de protection de la plaque et lui donner
une résistance maximum. Eteignez et laissez refroidir. Votre appareil
peut à présent être utilisé.
•Utilisez uniquement des casseroles ou poêles à fond plat et épais
conçues pour les plaques vitrocéramiques. Utilisez des ustensiles de
cuisson légèrement plus grands ou de la même taille que la plaque
chauffante. Si le diamètre de la casserole est inférieur à celui de la
plaque de cuisson, il y a un risque de déperdition de chaleur. Des
ustensiles de cuisson trop grands entraînent un manque d'efficacité
et un chauffage inégal. Il est conseillé également d'utiliser un
couvercle chaque fois que cela est possible pour économiser
l'énergie.

•N'utilisez pas de woks à fond rond, de supports pour woks ou
d'autres ustensiles de cuisson à fond incurvé similaires, car cela peut
entraîner une surchauffe de la table de cuisson et endommager
l'appareil
•Placez toujours les ustensiles de cuisine au centre de la plaque
chauffante pour une cuisson rapide et efficace.
•Pour faire chauffer la plaque, tournez le bouton de réglage vers la
droite pour l’amener dans la position souhaitée (0= Off, 1 jusqu’à 3 =
feu doux / faible intensité et de 4 à MAX = feu vif / forte intensité).
Ajustez la température pendant la cuisson si nécessaire.
•Les témoins lumineux vont s’allumer lorsque la plaque va commencer
à chauffer. Une fois la température atteinte, les témoins lumineux
vont s’éteindre.
Remarque : pendant l’utilisation, les témoins lumineux peuvent
s’allumer et s’éteindre par intermittence. Il s'agit d'une caractéristique
normale et non d'un dysfonctionnement.
•Les deux plaques fonctionnent de manière indépendante. Chacune
est contrôlée par son bouton de réglage de la température.
•Après utilisation, placez le bouton du thermostat sur la position "0
(=OFF)" et débranchez l'appareil.
•La plaque continue à chauffer une fois éteinte. Vous pouvez profiter
de cette chaleur résiduelle pour garder des aliments chaud pendant
une petit temps ou finir votre cuisson.
NOTE : Lors de la 1ère mise en fonction, une fumée peut se dégager de
la plaque chauffante, ceci est tout à fait normal et ne durera qu’un court
instant. Cette fumée dégagée ne sera plus présente par la suite.
ENTRETIEN
•Retirez la fiche de la prise de courant et attendez
que l’appareil refroidisse avant de le nettoyer.
•Essuyez l’appareil à l’aide de papier absorbant ou
d’un chiffon doux.
•Ne nettoyez jamais votre appareil à l’aide de
produits abrasifs car cela abîmerait le revêtement.

•N'immergez pas l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre
liquide.

Please read this manual carefully before using the device for the first time
and keep it for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children,unless they are over 8 years old and are
supervised.
Keep the device and its cable out of reach of children
under 8 years of age.
Check the power cable regularly.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the
supply voltage of your appliance corresponds to that
of your electrical installation. Your device must be
connected to an earthed socket.

- Repair of electrical equipment must always be done
by a qualified electrician. Repair by unqualified
personnel would expose the user to real danger.
- Your appliance is intended for domestic use inside
your home. It cannot be used in a commercial
context.
- Do not allow the power cord to come into contact
with hot surfaces or hang from your work surface
within reach of young children.
- Do not place the unit near a heat source.
- The walls of the device become hot during use. To
avoid any risk of burns, never touch hot surfaces, use
potholders or protective gloves.
CAUTION: Accessible surfaces can become very hot
during operation.
Do not move the unit when it is hot or in use. If you
need to move it, turn it off, unplug it and wait until it
cools before moving it. Always use protective gloves
when moving the unit.
Always unplug the unit after each use and unplug it
before cleaning.
- Never immerse the power cord, plug, or any other
part in water or any other liquid. Risk of electric
shock.
- Wait until the unit has cooled down completely
before cleaning it.

- Do not clean the unit with a metal sponge and/or
abrasive products as this may damage it.
- This product must not be connected to an external
timer or remote control system.
- Do not use the device for any purpose other than
that specified in this manual. This appliance is
designed to heat or cook food with suitable cooking
vessels.
- Any other use may damage the device or cause
injury.
- Place your device on a stable and level surface.
- Never pull the cord to unplug the unit or to move it.
- Do not handle the device with wet hands.
- Do not use a steam cleaning device.
- Attention! Leaving food unattended on a cooktop
using fat or oil can be dangerous and start a fire.
- Never try to extinguish a fire with water, but stop
the unit and cover the flames with a cover or fire
blanket, for example.
- For instructions on cleaning the unit, refer to the
paragraph below in the manual.

USE
Unpack the machine. Remove all labels from the product. Please check
that it is complete and in good condition. If the appliance is damaged or
malfunctions, do not use it and report it to your dealer or an after-sales
service centre.
Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of
accident if children play with the packaging materials.
- Place the plate on a flat, dry and heat-resistant surface.
- The adjustment knobs must be in the "OFF" position. Plug in the
appliance.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, heat the appliance for 10
minutes in order to fix the protective varnish on the plate and give it
maximum resistance. Switch off and allow to cool. Your appliance can
now be used.
- Only use thick, flat-bottomed pots and pans designed for ceramic
hobs. Use cooking utensils that are slightly larger or the same size as
the hotplate. If the diameter of the pan is smaller than that of the
hotplate, there is a risk of heat loss. Cooking utensils that are too large
lead to inefficiency and uneven heating. It is also advisable to use a lid
whenever possible to save energy.

- Do not use round-bottomed woks, woks holders or other similar
curved-bottomed cookware, as this may cause the hob to overheat and
damage the appliance.
- Always place kitchen utensils in the centre of the hotplate for quick
and efficient cooking.
- To heat the plate, turn the control knob to the right to the desired
position (0 = Off, 1 to 3 = low heat / low intensity and 4 to MAX = high
heat / high intensity). Adjust the temperature during cooking if
necessary.
- The indicator lights will come on when the tray starts to heat up. Once
the temperature is reached, the indicator lights will go out.
Note: During use, the indicator lights may turn on and off intermittently.
This is a normal feature and not a malfunction.
- The two plates operate independently. Each is controlled by its
temperature control knob.
- After use, set the thermostat knob to the "0 (=OFF)" position and
unplug the unit.
- The plate will continue to heat up when switched off. You can take
advantage of this residual heat to keep food warm for a short time or to
finish cooking.
NOTE: When first switched on, smoke may be emitted from the
hotplate, this is normal and will only last for a short time. This smoke
will not be present afterwards.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Remove the plug from the socket and wait for the
unit to cool before cleaning it.
- Wipe the unit with absorbent paper or a soft cloth.
- Never clean your device with abrasive products as
this will damage the coating.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This product is guaranteed for a fixed period of time with the distributor
from the date of purchase against any failure resulting from a

abnormal wear and tear of the product.
The device must be returned in its original packaging and accompanied
by the receipt, subject to proper handling. Therefore, observe the
operating instructions and safety instructions given above. In addition,

- De wanden van het apparaat worden tijdens het
gebruik heet. Raak nooit hete oppervlakken om
brandwonden te voorkomen.
WAARSCHUWING: Toegankelijke oppervlakken
kunnen tijdens het gebruik zeer heet worden.
Verplaats het apparaat niet wanneer het warm is of in
gebruik. Als u het apparaat moet verplaatsen,
schakelt u het uit, haalt u de stekker uit het
stopcontact en wacht u tot het is afgekoeld voordat u
het verplaatst. Gebruik altijd beschermende
handschoenen bij het verplaatsen van het apparaat.
Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact na elk
gebruik en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat
u het apparaat schoonmaakt.

- Dompel het netsnoer, de stekker of enig ander
onderdeel nooit onder in water of een andere
vloeistof. Risico op elektrische schokken.
- Wacht tot het apparaat volledig is afgekoeld voordat
u het reinigt.
- Reinig het apparaat niet met een metalen spons
en/of schurende producten, omdat dit het apparaat
kan beschadigen.
- Dit product mag niet worden aangesloten op een
externe timer of afstandsbediening.
- Gebruik het apparaat niet voor andere dan de in
deze handleiding genoemde doeleinden. Dit apparaat
is ontworpen om voedsel te verwarmen of te koken
met geschikte kookvaten.
- Elk ander gebruik kan het apparaat beschadigen of
letsel veroorzaken.
- Plaats het apparaat op een stabiele en vlakke
ondergrond.
- Trek nooit aan het snoer om het apparaat los te
koppelen of te verplaatsen.
- Behandel het apparaat niet met natte handen.
- Kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar moeten op afstand
worden gehouden, tenzij ze onder voortdurend
toezicht staan.
- Gebruik geen stoomreinigingsapparaat.
- Opgelet! Het onbeheerd achterlaten van voedsel op
een kookplaat met vet of olie kan gevaarlijk zijn en
brand veroorzaken.

- Probeer nooit een brand met water te blussen, maar
stop het apparaat en dek de vlammen af met
bijvoorbeeld een deksel of branddeken.
- Voor instructies voor het reinigen van het apparaat,
zie de paragraaf hieronder in de handleiding.

GEBRUIK
Pak de machine uit. Verwijder alle etiketten van het product. Controleer
of de machine compleet is en in goede staat verkeert. Als het apparaat
beschadigd is of slecht functioneert, gebruik het dan niet en meld het bij
uw dealer of een servicecentrum.
Houd alle verpakkingen buiten het bereik van kinderen. Er bestaat
gevaar voor ongelukken als kinderen met het verpakkingsmateriaal
spelen.
- Plaats de plaat op een vlakke, droge en hittebestendige ondergrond.
- De regelknoppen moeten in de stand "UIT" staan. Sluit het apparaat
aan.
- Verwarm het apparaat voor het eerste gebruik gedurende 10 minuten
om de beschermende lak op de plaat te fixeren en de plaat een
maximale weerstand te geven. Schakel het apparaat uit en laat het
afkoelen. Uw toestel kan nu gebruikt worden.
- Gebruik alleen potten en pannen met een dikke, platte bodem die
ontworpen zijn voor keramische kookplaten. Gebruik kookgerei dat iets

groter of even groot is als de kookplaat. Als de diameter van de pan
kleiner is dan die van de kookplaat, bestaat er gevaar voor
warmteverlies. Te groot kookgerei leidt tot inefficiëntie en
ongelijkmatige verwarming. Het is ook aan te raden om, indien
mogelijk, een deksel te gebruiken om energie te besparen.
- Gebruik geen wokken met een ronde bodem, wokhouders of andere
soortgelijke kookgerei met een gebogen bodem, omdat de kookplaat
hierdoor oververhit kan raken en het apparaat kan beschadigen.
- Plaats het keukengerei altijd in het midden van de kookplaat om snel
en efficiënt te kunnen koken.
- Om de plaat te verwarmen, draait u de bedieningsknop naar rechts in
de gewenste stand (0 = Uit, 1 tot 3 = lage warmte / lage intensiteit en
4 tot MAX = hoge warmte / hoge intensiteit). Regel de temperatuur
tijdens het koken indien nodig.
- De controlelampjes gaan branden als de plaat begint op te warmen.
Zodra de temperatuur is bereikt, gaan de indicatielampjes uit.
Opmerking: Tijdens het gebruik kunnen de indicatielampjes met
tussenpozen aan en uit gaan. Dit is een normale functie en geen
storing.
- De twee platen werken onafhankelijk van elkaar. Elk wordt geregeld
door de temperatuurregelknop.
- Zet de thermostaatknop na gebruik in de stand "0 (=OFF)" en trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact.
- De plaat zal blijven opwarmen wanneer deze wordt uitgeschakeld. U
kunt van deze restwarmte gebruik maken om het voedsel kortstondig
warm te houden of om het koken af te ronden.
OPMERKING: Bij de eerste keer inschakelen kan er rook uit de kookplaat
komen, dit is normaal en zal slechts kortstondig duren. Deze rook zal
daarna niet meer aanwezig zijn.
ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING
- Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht tot het
apparaat is afgekoeld voordat u het reinigt.

- Veeg het apparaat af met absorberend papier of een
zachte doek.
- Reinig uw apparaat nooit met schurende producten,
omdat dit de coating beschadigt.
- Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of een
andere vloeistof.

GESELECTEERDE OPHALING VAN ELEKTRISCHE EN
