1. Place BASE on a flat surface.
Twist the bottom of the PEDESTAL into the
BASE until snug (do not over tighten).

2. Insert PUMP cord plug into the pipe on the
top of the BASIN.
Leave about 8 inches of cord in the BASIN
with the PUMP.

3. Set the BASIN down near the BASE/
PEDESTAL and feed the PUMP cord
through the top of the PEDESTAL and out
the bottom of the BASE.

Optional
Place the PEDESTAL BALLAST SHIELD
around the PUMP cord at the bottom of the
inside of the PEDESTAL.
Add rocks (or other ballast) to the
PEDESTAL to add weight and increase
stability.

5. With the BASE/PEDESTAL on a flat
surface, twist the BASIN into the
PEDESTAL until snug (do not over tighten).

6. Route the PUMP cord through the notch on
the bottom of the BASE.

7. Install the FOUNTAIN TOP:
a. Set the FOUNTAIN TOP on its side in
the BASIN.
b. Attach the male outlet on the top of the PUMP to the
tube inside the FOUNTAIN TOP. Make sure the
connection is snug.
c. The PUMP should be sitting in the BASIN next to the
BASIN pipe. Adjust the PUMP cord by pulling any
extra slack out the bottom on the BASE.
d. Set the FOUNTAIN TOP right-side-up over the
BASIN pipe and the PUMP. Twist the FOUNTAIN
TOP about one quarter turn to lock the FOUNTAIN
TOP into place.

8. Fill the FOUNTAIN TOP with water until it
overflows into the BASIN.
Fill the BASIN until water is about 1 inch
from the top of the BASIN.

9. Plug in your fountain. Water should now be
flowing from the top of your fountain.
If water is not flowing: unplug your fountain,
grab the BASIN with two hands, and shake
the BASIN to release air bubbles caught in
the PUMP.
10. If water is not flowing evenly around the
FOUNTAIN TOP, level the fountain by
placing SHIMS under the edge of the BASE,
then break off any extra SHIM material.

CLEANING
Clean as necessary using a mild detergent and a soft cloth.
SCRUBBING OR USE OF STIFF BRISTLES MAY
DAMAGE THE FINISH.
PUMP
Your fountain comes with a ETL certified high quality
pump with a 12’ grounded cord. The pump can be adjust-
ed to increase water flow in your fountain.
Move the pump lever toward the “+” to increase water
flow. Move the pump lever toward the “-“ to decrease
water flow.
PUMP FLOW
If pump is noisy or water is not flowing:
1) Unplug
2) Quickly shake basin back and forth to release air in
pump and pump tubing.
If water is still not flowing from pump:
PRIMING PUMP
1) Disconnect pump from Fountain Top and remove
Fountain Top from fountain.
2) Submerge pump in water in Basin and shake pump to
release air bubbles.
3) Plug in fountain and let pump run for 10 seconds, then
unplug fountain.
4) Reassemble the pump with the Fountain Top and
Reinstall Fountain Top on fountain.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
PUMP CLEANING
1) Unplug.
2) Disconnect pump from Fountain Top.
3) Pull the front panel off of pump.
4) Rinse filters under running water to remove debris.
OPTIONAL steps to clean impeller if flow has decreased:
5) Pull firmly to remove pump impeller cover.
6) Remove pump impeller from the impeller chamber.
7) Rinse impeller, impeller cover, and impeller chamber
to remove all debris.
8) Replace impeller and replace impeller cover.
BE SURE TO REPLACE IMPELLER COVER COM-
PLETELY OR WATER WILL NOT FLOW.
9) Replace filters and front panel.
10)Reassemble Fountain.

YOUR FOUNTAIN
Congratulations on your purchase of an Exaco Endura Clay
fountain!
Your fountain is made of Endura Clay. Endura Clay is
a mixture of clay and recycled polymer that is combined
and formed under high temperature and extremely high
pressure.
Compression-injection molding allows for manufacturing
pressures of between 200-1,200 tons – giving Endura Clay
incredible strength. Products made from Endura Clay are
stronger than products made from traditional methods such
as injection molding, roto-molding, blow-molding, or wet
casting. This allows the product to be lighter and easier to
handle.
The use of recycled polymer not only helps the
environment and reduces landfill waste, but also gives
Endura Clay elasticity and impact/shatter resistance.
Advanced manufacturing and finishing techniques give
the product the ability to be made to look like ceramic,
terracotta, concrete/cast stone, natural stone and granite.
