Features and Benefits
The Explore Scientic ReflexSight™ uses time-tested functionality re-
imagined with versatility and enhanced performance features. The view
through the device gives the appearance of a deep-red target projected
against the sky, allowing you to use both eyes to help you quickly and
easily “star hop” using visible stars to nd and center objects.
The Explore Scientic ReflexSight™ is an essential zero-power nder for
use on amateur or professional telescopes that can be employed as the
sole or primary sight of a telescope.
Uses 2 AAA-sized alkaline batteries (not included).
Features
• New “multi-dot” reticle design in standard 4.0 degree, 2.0 degree, and
0.5 degree circular patterns that prevents blocking stars in the eld.
• Fits on common “dovetail-style” viewnder bases which will allow the
user to attach the device on almost any telescope without
modication to the telescope itself.
• 1/4 x 20 threaded adapter is built into the base to allow the device to
attach onto a variety of devices such as piggyback camera adapters,
photo tripods, etc.
• Smooth body style eliminates sharp corners and reduces snagging.
• Easy to access battery compartment.
• Comes complete with optical cover.
• Operates on two lightweight and commonly available AAA batteries.
• Low power draw provides long continuous operating time.
• Large, continuously adjustable brightness, smooth-head, control knob
with knurl, that can be operated with gloves on. Full-off click switch.
• Rear-facing, no-tool, three-point parallax smooth-head adjustment
knobs with knurl, that can be operated with gloves on.
• Coated lens for maximum reticle projection performance.
• Compact size.

How To Use
• To use, remove the folding optics cover by pulling upward from the
projection glass, then pull the entire cover free from the device by
angling the pins from the slots that are on either side of the
projection lens.
• Install two AAA batteries by opening the battery compartment door
(using your ngernail or a small at-edged screwdriver) on the bottom
of the Explore Scientic ReflectorSight™ (note the direction of
polarity for the batteries), then replace the battery door by pushing
down gently until you feel the door snap in place.
• Slide the device into a standard 30mm wide nderscope dovetail base
on the telescope with the parallax adjustment knobs facing rearward.
• Turn the reticle on by rotating the brightness control knob clockwise
to full brightness.
• Aim by sighting your telescope using a low-power eyepiece at the
Moon, a bright star, or a very distant object. Look through the
projection glass of the reector sight (can be used with both eyes
open) and slowly turn (either clockwise or counter-clockwise) each of
the three rearward facing adjustment knobs until the 0.5 degree center
circle pattern is directly over the target. Repeat the process with
higher power on the telescope for greater pointing accuracy.
• Turn the brightness control knob counter-clockwise in order to see
the faintest stars while maintaining enough brightness of the
projected reticle.
• Remove the AAA batteries when storing the device for long
periods of time.
To clean, blow off dust and dirt and use a soft cloth to wipe down the
body. For the optical surfaces use standard optical cleaning tissues or
an optical cleaning cloth.
