INSTALLATION GUIDE

INSTALLATION ON A WOOD POST
TOOLS NEEDED
This guide is for installing the camera system on a 4” X 4” wood post.
For best results mount post in 18” of concrete 24 hours prior to camera
installation. Choose a post height applicable for your security situation.
Recommended camera height is 10’ to 18’.

STEP 1
Install solar panel mounting bracket on
the side of the wood pole closest to facing
towards the south.
STEP 4
Power Camera On.
STEP 5
Place camera on camera bracket and align
holes on the two brackets.
STEP 6
Using 2 provided machine screws, secure
camera to camera bracket.
STEP 2
Install camera mounting bracket on side of
pole facing the center of the field of view
you want to monitor.
STEP 3
Install cellular antennas on the back of
the camera box, and the remote sensor
antenna on the side of the camera box.

HOW TO INSTALL

STEP 8
Using 2 provided machine screws, secure
solar panel to bracket.
STEP 10
Connect the camera’s power cable to the
solar panel wire. Twist tightly to ensure
water tight connection.
FINAL INSTALL
STEP 9
Loosen bolt and turn mounting bracket
until solar panel faces due south by
matching north on the compass with the
red line on the bracket. Fasten bolt tight
once the panel faces south.

STEP 7
Place solar panel on solar panel mounting
bracket using the horizontal bar on the
back of the panel, make sure holes are
aligned with the bracket.

STEP 11
Place remote sensor in desired monitoring
location. Range from camera: 250ft (76m)
Detection Range: 40ft (12m)
Mounting Height: 3ft (1m) ~ 10ft (3m)

Login to view your camera using the Eye
Trax software at eyetrax.net.
STEP 13
Check to see your camera working.
