EZCast Beam projector Quick Start Guide
This EZCast Beam projector Quick Start Guide provides
a guideline for basic operation. Please read the guide
thoroughly before operating the projector. Visit www.EZ-
Cast.com for additional information. Product information

Thank you for purchasing the EZCast Beam projector. Our product
combines the easy to use interface, portability, and cross platform
compatibility, to let you enjoy projecting media from Android, iOS phones
and tablets, as well as Windows and MacOS laptops, anytime, anywhere.

Mobile devices can proceed to the relevant download area by scanning

How to use the device properly:
(1) Do not turn the lens toward human eyes when in operation, to avoid
damaging the eyes caused by the high intensity light source.
(2) Do not block the device ventilation to avoid damage to the internal
electronic devices due to overheating.
(3) Please keep the device and its parts and accessories out of reach of
children.
(4) Please ensure that the device is operated in a dry and ventilated
environment.
(5) Do not store the device in extreme hot or cold conditions. High and low
temperatures may shorten the lifespan of electronic devices. The normal
operating environment is between 5℃~30℃.
(6) Do not put the device into any drying equipment (such as dryer,
microwave oven, etc.).
(7) Do not squeeze or place heavy objects over the device to avoid damage
to the device.
(8) Do not throw, knock, or shake the device violently, which may damage
the internal circuit boards.
(9) Do not attempt to disassemble the device without permission. If there is
any problem, please contact customer support.
(10) Do not repair any product by yourself. If the device or any part does not
work properly, you should consult customer support or return the device for
repair.
(11) The machine will automatically shut down after 5 seconds due to
overheat temperature.
(12) Do not clean the devices or lens with chemicals, detergent or water.
And do not expose them to rain, moisture and mineral containing liquids
that may corrode the circuit board.
(13) Improper cleaning will damage the lens. So please do not wipe the lens,
or use detergent, any solvent to clean them. Damage caused by the
improper cleaning is not within the scope of warranty.
As the device is a high intensity light source, do not stare or
look directly at the lens during operation, which may damage
your eyes. This warning applies to children as well.

How to set up EZCast Beam projector
Preparation
1. Insert the wireless adapter into the wireless kit port of the projector.
2. Plug the power to the projector, and the power button will light up.
3. To turn on projector, hold the power button of the projector for 3
seconds till the light turn green.
4. Adjust focus ring until the projection image is clear and focused.

About portrait mode
The projector supports full-screen vertical videos automatically when both
the mobile and the projector are displayed by portrait mode.
(1) Enter “Settings” and find “Image” settings.
(2) Switch “Portrait mode” option to “Auto”.
(3) Go “Keystone calibration” if needed.

First time settings
1.Select the start-up language.
2. Pair the remote control: To use the remote controller as a mouse,
enter Bluetooth settings and press the button “OK” and “Back” simulta-
neously on the remote control to turn on pairing mode. Once it’s paired,
you can aim to wherever you want with an arrow shown on the screen.
3. Wi-Fi setting: connect the projector to your router and enter the
password. (Important)
4. After starting up, enter the main menu and select the functions by
arrow keys on the projector or remote control. If the remote control is
paired and the mouse mode is enabled, you can also select by swiping
the remote to move the mouse.
About Aptoide TV
Aptoide TV is an app store that allows you to find and install apps you like.
Press “OK” to open the store, and search the keywords or browse from top
ranks of a variety of kinds.
After download, you can find them in “Apps”. You can also add a shortcut of
oftenly used apps by pressing “Add” icon on main menu. To remove or
change the shortcut, long press “OK” button on the remote control. These
operation guide can also be found in “Get Started”.
* Note 1: In some apps, the mouse mode of the remote control should be
enabled. You can slide the page in those apps by swiping the remote conrol
with “OK” button pressed, just like a finger does on a smart device.
* Note 2: If the app is unable to open, please try other version of the app.

1. Source: Switch the source to media center or HDMI input.
2. Wi-Fi: Select the router from AP list and enter the password.
3. Bluetooth: Pair the remote control or Bluetooth speaker.
4. Image: Calibrate the image, change the projection location and set
Portrait mode.
5. Color: Change Display mode, Color temperature, Gamma, Brightness,
Contrast, Saturation, and Sharpness.
6. Audio: Adjust volume level and mute the audio.
7. Language: Change language with arrows.
8. System: Enter the settings of Android system.
9. Upgrade: Upgrade via USB drive or through internet.
10. Info: Show the information of the projector.
11. Reset: Choose yes to reset projector to factory default. All saved
changes to Setting are lost. The projector will be restored to the
factory settings, and the data adjusted by the user will not be saved.
Other Important notice:
Battery life varies depending on product settings, usage, and other factors.

How to Do Wireless Display
Open Wireless Display on the main menu of the projector, and cast any
devices to it wirelessly.
1. Android
Select mirroring function in the setting of your phone and find ”Beam-XXXX”
device shown on device list to start your mirroring.
2. iOS
(1) Make sure both of your projector and mobile are connected to the same
Wi-Fi router.
(2) Go for Screen Mirroring of your mobile and select ”Beam-XXXX” shown
on the list to start projection.
Note: Compatibility: iOS 12 or above.
3. Windows 10
Click quick key by on the computer, and connect to the device
named by “Beam-XXXX” to start your projection.
Note: Please upgrade your windows 10’s operation system to the latest version.
Note 1: The naming of the mirroring function varies depending on different brands.

Note 2: Compatibility: Android 5.0 or above.

(1) Make sure both of your projector and computer are connected to the
same WiFi router.
(2) Click for Screen Mirroring icon on your computer and select the
”Beam-XXXX” shown on the list to start your projection.

(1) EZCast
(1) Install EZCast app on your device. Please download the app from
application market for your mobiles or visit https://www.ezcast.com/app
to download EZCast app for PC.
(2) Enable EZCast app on your device, and then click icon and select
the ”Beam-XXXX” shown on the list to start your projection.
(2) Chromecast (Android Only)
(1) Make sure both of your projector and mobile are connected to the
same WiFi router.
(2) Download and install Google Home app from Google Play Store.
(3) Enable Google Home app, wait for 20 seconds for searching, and
find ”Beam-XXXX” device to start your projection.
(3) DLNA
(1) Make sure both of your projector and mobile are connected to the
same WiFi router.
(2) Launch the app that support DLNA, such as QIY, QQTV.
(3) Click the DLNA icon on the video you’d like to play, and select
“Beam-XXXX”.
Note: DLNA icon usually shows in the corner of the video, and looks like a
tv which depends on different apps.

FAQ
Questions Solutions
Cannot be powered on
1. Check whether the power cord is connected properly.
2. Long press the power button for 3 seconds, then release the button
and wait for the projector to start up.
3. For the 1st time usage, please plug in power adapter to turn on the
projector.
Check your projector is well-connected to your Wi-Fi router. Go for:
Settings >> Wi-Fi Settings.
1. The best projection distance is 0.8m~2.7m. Make sure if your
projection distance is appropriate.
2. Check the lens is clean.
1. Replace the batteries of remote control.
2. The best control distance is 1m.
3. The remote sensor is at the back side of the projector. Try to point
at it when using remote control.
4. Pair ther remote control again. Enter the Bluetooth settings of the
projector and press “OK” and “Back” button simultaneously to re-pair.
1. Long press power button on the projector for 6 seconds to force the
projector shutdown.
2. Use a reed needle to long press the reset hole next to the power button
for 3 seconds to force the projector shutdown in safe mode.
3. If there’s damage on Android system, follow the instructions to repair.
Download the latest firmware on the website to a USB disk and plug to the
projector. Upgrade the Android system by a reed needle to long press the
reset hole for 10 seconds until a Android repair icon showed.
Portrait mode is designed for mobile with live-streaming display,
especially via wireless display. For HDMI or media display via USB
drive, we suggest to display content under landscape mode.
1. Make sure the Wireless Projection-Kit is being plugged in projector.
2. Refer to the Wireless Display guide on the main menu to make sure
you are using the correct wireless connecting entrance for your device
and operating system.
3. If the screen stutters or lags, the distance between your device and
projector is too far. The suggested distance is within 2m.
4. Make sure the device is connected to correct device name of the
projector.

1. 请勿将镜头朝向人眼，避免开机后镜头强光对眼睛造成伤害。
2. 请勿堵塞设备的散热孔，避免设备无法正常散热对内部电子器件造成损
坏。
3. 请勿用化学制品、清洗剂或清水来清洗设备，以及避免雨水、湿气和含有
矿物质液 体腐蚀电路板。
4. 请将设备及其部件和配件放在儿童触摸不到的地方。
5. 请确保设备在干燥通风的环境下使用。
6. 请勿将设备存放在过热或过冷的地方，高（低）温会缩短电子器件的寿命。
允许使用环境为5°C~30°C。
7. 请勿将设备放入任何加热设备(如干燥机、微波炉等)进行烘干。
8. 请勿用力挤压设备或在其上方放置重物，以避免损坏设备。
9. 请勿扔放、敲打或强烈震动设备，导致内部电路板损坏。
10. 请勿试图私自拆装设备。如有问题，请联络售后服务。
11. 请勿自行维修任何产品。若设备或任何部件不能正常工作，应及时咨询
售后服务或 返厂维修。
12. 播放超过8小时，建议关机半小时再开机使用。

EZCast Beam投影仪设备操作说明
开机前准备
1. 将无线网卡插入投影机无线网卡接口。
2. 将随机标配的电源适配器连接投影仪电源接口，电源灯会亮红灯。
3. 长按投影仪电源键3秒启动投影仪，电源灯会亮绿灯。
4. 调整调焦环至图像清晰，调整梯型校正环至图像为标准矩形。

当手机和投影仪都竖立时，投屏画面将自动转为直立全屏满框，提供最大视

(1) 进入设置并找到图像设置选项。

首次开机设置
1. 选择语言。
2. 配对遥控器：若要将遥控器作为鼠标使用，请在投影仪中进入蓝牙模式时
，同时按住遥控器的「确认键」及「返回键」进行配对，配对后即可以指向的方
式使用鼠标控制，若鼠标未出现，可按下遥控器右上方的鼠标模式切换按钮
即 可。
3. 开机后进入主界面，用投影仪主机或遥控器方向键选择所需菜单，也可使
用遥控器鼠标模式进行指向点选（需先配对遥控器并开启鼠标模式）。
关于当贝
当贝是一个应用程序商城，可透过搜寻关键字或从排行榜上选择并下载各
式各样喜爱的应用程序。
可在菜单的「应用程序」中找到所有已下载的程序，在菜单上加号的位置按
下确认键，即可将常用应用程序加入首页，在该程序上长按确认键，即可移
除或变更常用程序。此操作说明可以在「开始使用」中查阅。
＊注一：部分应用程序必须开启遥控器的鼠标模式才允许使用，按住遥控器
的确认键并上下左右指向，即可如手指在智慧装置上滑动屏幕般，方便的换
页及选择功能。
＊注二：若无法开启应用程序，可尝试安装该应用程序的其他版本。

1. 讯号源：切换讯号源为媒体中心或是HDMI输出。
2. Wi-Fi：在路由器列表选择Wi-Fi并输入密码以连线。
3. 蓝牙：配对遥控器或是蓝牙音箱。
4. 图像：梯形校正屏幕、切换投屏位置及设置自动直立模式。
5. 颜色：变更显示模式、色温、迦码、亮度、对比、饱和度及锐利度。
6. 音讯：调整音量增减及静音模式
7. 语言：使用方向键切换显示语言。
8. 系统：进入安卓系统的系统设置选项。
9. 升级：透过网络或是U盘进行升级。
10. 资讯：显示投影仪资讯。
11. 重置：恢复到出厂设置，用户调整过的数据将不会保存。
其他重要提示：
电池寿命取决于产品设置，使用情况和其他因素。

无线同屏
(1) 确保投影仪和移动设备都连接到同一局域网内。
(2) 进入手机的屏幕镜像，然后选择列表中显示的“ Beam-XXXX”以开始投屏。
在投影仪菜单上开启「无线投屏」功能，即可将设备的画面透过无线的方式投屏
至投影仪。
在手机设置中选择同屏功能，然后在设备列表中找到“ Beam-XXXX”设备以开
始同屏。
注意：适用苹果系统12.0以上。
(1) 确保投影仪和电脑都连接到同一局域网络内。
(2) 在电脑上按快速键 ，然后连接到以“ Beam-XXXX”命名的设备以开
始投影。
注：请将Win 10的作业系统升级到最新版本。
注一：同屏功能的名称根据不同品牌手机，名称有所不同，可至下方连结观看详细操作说明：

(2) 在设备上启用EZCast应用程序，并确保投影仪和移动设备都连接到同
一局域网内，按一下图示并选择清单中的“ Beam-XXXX”以开始投屏。
(2) Chromecast (仅限安卓手机)
(1) 确保投影仪和手机都连接到同一局域网内。
(2) 从应用程序商店下载并安装Google Home应用程序。
(3) 启用Google Home后，等待约20秒后从清单中选择“ Beam-XXXX”
以开始投屏。
(3) DLNA
(1) 确保投影仪和手机都连接到同一局域网内。
(2) 运行支持DLNA串流的应用程序，例如爱奇艺、腾讯视频等。
(3) 在喜欢的视频上点击DLNA的图示，并选择连接设备“Beam-XXXX”
即可投屏。
注 意：DLNA图示根据App而有不同，通常出现在视频的四个角落，且长得像电
视 机。

常见问题
现象 处理方法
不通电/不能开机 1. 检查电源，电源线是否接好及通电正常。
2. 长按电源键3秒后松开，等待开机。
3. 初次使用请接上电源线后再长按电源键3秒开机。
不能同屏
确认无线网卡已插进投影仪无线网卡接口，並检查网络
是否连接正常。
1. 确认距离是否合适，尝试拉远距离。
2. 检查镜头是否干净。
1. 更换遥控器电池。
2. 最佳操控距离为1米内。
3. 遥控接收器位在投影仪后方，请瞄准再试试。
4. 重新配对遥控器，进入投影仪蓝牙设置，并同时按下
遥控器上的「确认键」及「返回键」即可配对。
1. 长按投影仪上的电源键6秒强迫关机。
2. 拿针戳进电源键旁的重置孔，长按3秒强制进入安全
模式，接上电源线后再长按电源键3秒重新开机。
3. 若安卓系统毁损，请照下方步骤修复：在官网上下载
最新固件，存到U盘插上投影仪，拿针长按重置孔10秒，
直到出现安卓修复的图示放开即可重新安装。
直立模式是专为手机设计的无线投屏模式，使用HDMI讯
号源或U盘内容请使用横放模式投屏。
1. 确认无线网卡已插进投影仪无线网卡接口。
2. 同屏模式是否对应，请参照菜单上的无线投屏指南。
3. 同屏时画面卡顿，可能是同屏距离太远。
4. 手机的Wi-Fi 与投影仪的设备名称是否连接上。
