All FACTOR ELCTRONICS products are designed and engineered to the highest possible standards
and provide professional installers with many unique features. Please read this manual to get the
most from your FACTOR ELCTRONICS product.
Introduction
The HORN-15 is an ultra high efficiency paging horn designed to stand up to the toughest
environments. Their wide angle lenses provide even sound distribution over large areas while
placing a minimal load on the connected amplifier. The HORN-15 includes a sturdy mounting
brac et that allow precise spea er positioning and the integrated 25/70 transformers with 8 ohm
bypass provide connections to most commercial grade amplifiers.
Operating Installation Instructions:
Use 2 conductor 16/18awg unshielded copper stranded spea er wire to run from the amplifier to
the horn spea er and between horn spea ers.
HORN-15:
Blac wire: Common (- negative)
Red wire: Positive (25/70V operation only) .
Green wire: Positive (connect only to 8 ohm amplifiers) .
Adjust the wattage tap dial to the desired position.
CAUTION: Never connect the HORN-15 to a 25/70V amplifier while using the 8 ohm (green)
connection. This will destroy the voice coil and void the warranty.
Mounting:
The HORN-15 can be mounted practically anywhere and include swivel mounts for easy
positioning.
When mounting to a solid wood surface use heavy duty screws to screw the base to the wood.
Loosen the rotating angle brac et and position the horn spea er for the optimum area coverage
then tighten the angle brac et.

Warranty
FACTOR ELECTRONICS products are warranted to be free from defects in wor manship and
materials for a period of one (1) year without charge for parts or labour. The warranty applies only
to the original owner. The owner’s responsibilities are to provide proof of purchase and
transportation to the dealer the unit was purchased from or transportation to FACTOR
ELECTRONICS This warranty does not apply to units which have been subject to misuse, abuse,
neglect or improper installation, and does not apply to repairs or alterations by unauthorized
personnel. This warranty specifically excludes responsibility for consequential damage.
Retention of your dated ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE is required to obtain service under the terms of
the warranty.
