WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
• This product is electrical, therefore at no time or under any circumstances should it be immersed in
water or any other liquid as this may result in serious injury or death and will invalidate your warranty.
• Do not handle any of the equipment with wet hands.
• Keep this equipment away from moisture or excessive heat, cold and dust.
• Do not expose this equipment to electrostatic discharges
• Never place any heavy objects on the equipment.
• Do not place the amplifier on any computer equipment as the strong magnetic field may cause
damage.
• It is advisable when leaving the house, or during a thunderstorm, to disconnect the equipment from
the mains supply.
• Always turn off the amplifier before making or changing any connections on the rear of the amplifier.
• Always ensure that the volume control is set to minimum before switching on the amplifier.
• Do not plug a signal input into any of the speaker or bass output sockets, as this will damage the
amplifier.
• In normal use the amplifier will run warm to the touch. Always leave an airspace of at least 75mm
to the sides, top and back of the amplifier to allow for cooling.
• There are no user serviceable components inside the amplifier. Please refer all servicing to your
authorised dealer. Any unauthorised repairs or adjustments will invalidate the warranty.
BE CONSIDERATE TO THE ENVIRONMENT:
Always turn this amplifier off when not in use.

SETTING UPYOUR MINI SYSTEM
Carefully unpack the speakers and amplifier taking care not to scratch any component.
Ensure that the switch on the back of the amplifier is set to the correct voltage for your territory, if you
are unsure what the correct setting is, please contact yourAuthorised Dealer. Please ensure that you
use the correct fuse type in the pop out tray beneath the mains input socket on the back
of the mini amplifier:
~230V FUSE T800mAL/250V
~115V FUSE T1.6AL/250V
Undo and lay out the cables and connect up the speakers following the labels on the rear of the amplifier
and the diagrams contained in the booklet.
The amplifier will take inputs with a standard phono lead (Phono Input) or a 3.5mm mini stereo jack lead
(3.5mm stereo input socket).
Do not plug an input signal into any of the speaker or bass outputs as this will damage the
amplifier!
When all the connections are made,check that the volume is set at minimum and then turn the amplifier
on and carefully adjust the volume.The relative Bass level can then be adjusted with the potentiometer
(Bass Level Adjust) on the rear panel.
The speakers can be set up in a variety of ways but will need some space between them for a good
stereo image. They are also fairly directional and will sound at their best when directed towards the
listening position.

If you wish to add the FHOO8 Subwoofer to your system, please use the lead provided and insert
it into the socket marked “SUB OUTPUT” next to the “LINE IN” socket on the back of the mini
system amplifer as illustrated below.

PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF FERGUSON HILL
CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED

the country in which the product purchase took place. Ferguson Hill,the warrantor under this LimitedWarranty,is identified
at the end of this document according to the country or region in which the product purchase took place.

FERGUSON HILL FHOO7 MINI SYSTEMWARRANTY
WARRANTY COVERAGE
Ferguson Hill's warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below: Ferguson Hill, as defined below, warrants
these Ferguson Hill-branded speakers against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of
ONE (1)YEAR from the date of purchase by the original end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period"). If a hardware defect
arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Ferguson Hill will either (1) repair the
hardware defect at no charge,using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product
that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent
to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product. Ferguson Hill may request that you replace
defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that Ferguson Hill provides in fulfillment of its warranty
obligation.A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with
instructions provided by Ferguson Hill,assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or ninety (90) days from
the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you.When a product or part is exchanged,
any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Ferguson Hill's property. Parts provided
by Ferguson Hill in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed.
When a refund is given, the product for which the refund is provided must be returned to Ferguson Hill and becomes
Ferguson Hill's property.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This Limited Warranty applies only to speakers manufactured by or for Ferguson Hill that can be identified by the
"Ferguson Hill" trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than
Ferguson Hill, may provide their own warranties to the end user purchaser, but Ferguson Hill, in so far as permitted by
law, provides their products "as is". Ferguson Hill does not warrant that the operation of the product will be
uninterrupted or error-free. Ferguson Hill is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions
relating to the product's use. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by use with non-Ferguson Hill
products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to
damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Ferguson Hill; (d) to
damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of
Ferguson Hill or an Ferguson Hill Authorised Service Provider; (e) to a product or part that has been modified to
significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Ferguson Hill; (f) to consumable parts,

Please review the printed instructions accompanying these speakers before requesting warranty service. If the speakers
are still not functioning properly after making use of these resources, please contact the Ferguson Hill representatives
or, if applicable, an Ferguson Hill Authorised Service Provider. A Ferguson Hill representative or Ferguson Hill
Authorised Service Provider will help determine whether your product requires service and, if it does, will inform you
how Ferguson Hill will provide it. Ferguson Hill or its Ferguson Hill Authorised Service Providers will provide warranty
service on products that are tendered or presented for service during the Warranty Period, as permitted by law.
However warranty service may be restricted to the country where the product is purchased. Service options, parts
availability and response times will vary according to country.You may be responsible for shipping and handling charges
if the product cannot be serviced in the country it is in. In accordance with applicable law, Ferguson Hill may require
that you furnish proof of purchase details and/or comply with registration requirements before receiving warranty
service. Please refer to the accompanying documentation for more details on this and other matters on obtaining
warranty service.
