• After use, turn off the appliance with the control knob and
disconnect from the gas cylinder.
• The appliance is suitable for 5-15kg LPG cylinder.
• Use only LPG/ BUTANE GAS. Ensure the gas bottle is installed correctly,
checking for leaks following replacement.
• Do not twist the flexible tube or hose. The hose should be regularly
checked.
• This is a non-flue heater. Ensure the room is well ventilated when the
heater is in operation.
• Do not operate in the bedroom, bathroom, caravan, boat or any
room less than 84cu.m. Keep a minimum of 105cm2 of ventilation area.
• Never use the heater where paint thinner, gasoline or other
flammable vapour or high dust content is present.
• Always position the heater on a firm, level, stable surface.
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Maintenance and cleaning must be carried out when the gas supply
is disconnected, and cool. Do not attempt to clean the heater whilst in
use.
• The heater should be checked annually by a qualified person.
• If any faults are detected in use, stop using the heater and seek for
help from the manufacturer or a qualified technician,
• Periodically clean the exterior and rear of the heater to remove dust,
lint build up etc.
• Lightly vacuum with a soft brush to remove any dust build up on the
surfaces of the cermic elements. Do not scrape or knock these
elements.
• Do not use abrasive products to clean the heater.
• Watch the pilot flame whilst it is in operation. It should burn steadily.
If it flickers or it is yellow tipped, the heater must be checked by a
qualified technician.
• If any parts need to be replaced, these MUST be replaced by
geniune parts supplied by the manufacturer. If incorrect substitute
parts are used, it may cause danger and invalidate the warranty.
• Do not use a wet rag or spray water on the heater when cleaning.
This may damage the heater.
• When not in use, store in a clean dry environment.
