Operating Instructions
There are 3 controls:
The 1st is the gas regulator on the cylinder which is used to turn on and
off the gas supply.
The 2nd is the control knob which is a dial with 3 positions.
The 3rd is the piezoelectric ignition button next to the control knob.
Pressing this button will generate a spark on the pilot burner that will
ignite the heater.

Installation
1. Remove Protection Baffle (5.)
2. Insert the gas cylinder (6) from the rear of the heater, and refit
Protection Baffle (5), making sure the cyclinder doesn’t move.
3. Ensure the regulator (4) is set with the gas valve in START position,by
turning clockwise.
4. Fit the regulator over the gas cylinder by depressing the release
button, and pushing onto the top of the cylinder.
5.Ensure the regulator is fully sealed then release the button to lock in
place.
6. If the gas cylinder has a separate valve, ensure this is open for use
and closed after use.
7. Only operate the heater in the UPRIGHT position, and the heater must
not be exposed to any sources of water.

Ignition
1. Turn the control knob to START.
2. Open the gas cylinder by turning the valve anti-clockwise.
3. Press down and turn the control knob to LOW position and
hold for 10 seconds.
4. Whilst holding the control knob, press the ignition button until
the pilot flame is ignited at the bottom of the burner.
Turning off the heater
1. Turn the control knob to START.
2. Turn off the gas by turning the valve clockwise.
3. Ensure the pilot flame is extinguished.
Testing gas leakage
• If you suspect the heater is leaking gas, turn off the gas supply and
have inspected by a qualified technician.
• Testing must be carried out in a well ventilated area.
• Do not operate any electrical equipment if a gas leak is present.
• Do not attempt to locate the leak with a naked flame. Locate the
leak by sound, smell or by using soapy water on the suspected area.
Bubbles will indicate the place of the leak.
• In the event of a leakage, the heater must be turned off at the
regulator and disconnected from the cylinder.

Safety tips
• This appliance should not be used in high rise flats, bathrooms,
basements or bedrooms.
• Do not move the appliance when operating. Sudden impacts and
bumps may damage the safety device.
• Do not direct the heater towards equipment, furniture, curtains or
anything else that may catch fire.
• Do not use the heater while sleeping.
• Always face the heater towards the centre of the room.
• ONLY use in well ventilated spaces. Ventillation is required for safety
and performance. Allow plenty of fresh air in, never seal up the
doorways or windows.
• Prevent young children and elderly people from touching very hot
surfaces. The guard only protects against clothing accidentally
touching the heater.
• Do not place clothes or other materials on the heater.
• Keep all flammable materials at least 1 metre away from the heater.
• Turn off the gas supply after use.
• Never use or store solvents or aerosols near the gas heater, even
when turned off.
• Never dispose of rubbish such as cigarette butts in the gas fire. This
can affect combustion and produce dangerous pollutants.
• Always operate the gas control and cylinder valve whilst standing to
the side or rear of the heater, never the front. This reduces risk of burns.
• Do not use the heater with a programmer, timer or any other device
that switches the heater on automatically.
How to change a gas cylinder
• The cylinder should be changed in accordance to the instructions
provided.
• Turn off the regulator and allow the heater to cool fully before
removing and replacing the cylinder.
• Do not attempt to replace the cylinder while the heater is still in use.
• Cylinders must be replaced in a flame free environment.
• Do not smoke while changing the cylinder
• When replacing the empty cylinder, make sure the gas is turned off
before disconnecting the valve.

Warning

• Do not use faulty appliances
• Maintenance and repairs must be carried out by a qualified person
only
• Retain these instructions for future use
• After use, turn off the appliance with the control knob and
disconnect from the gas cylinder.
• The appliance is suitable for 5-15kg LPG cylinder.
• Use only LPG/ BUTANE GAS. Ensure the gas bottle is installed correctly,
checking for leaks following replacement.
• Do not twist the flexible tube or hose. The hose should be regularly
checked.
• This is a non-flue heater. Ensure the room is well ventilated when the
heater is in operation.
• Do not operate in the bedroom, bathroom, caravan, boat or any
room less than 84cu.m. Keep a minimum of 105cm2 of ventilation area.
• Never use the heater where paint thinner, gasoline or other
flammable vapour or high dust content is present.
• Always position the heater on a firm, level, stable surface.
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Maintenance and cleaning must be carried out when the gas supply
is disconnected, and cool. Do not attempt to clean the heater whilst in
use.
• The heater should be checked annually by a qualified person.
• If any faults are detected in use, stop using the heater and seek for
help from the manufacturer or a qualified technician,
• Periodically clean the exterior and rear of the heater to remove dust,
lint build up etc.
• Lightly vacuum with a soft brush to remove any dust build up on the
surfaces of the cermic elements. Do not scrape or knock these
elements.
• Do not use abrasive products to clean the heater.
• Watch the pilot flame whilst it is in operation. It should burn steadily.
If it flickers or it is yellow tipped, the heater must be checked by a
qualified technician.
• If any parts need to be replaced, these MUST be replaced by
geniune parts supplied by the manufacturer. If incorrect substitute
parts are used, it may cause danger and invalidate the warranty.
• Do not use a wet rag or spray water on the heater when cleaning.
This may damage the heater.
• When not in use, store in a clean dry environment.

Cautions
This appliance can be used by children from 8 years above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, IF they have been given supervision or
instruction on how to use the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children
without supervision.
Children less than 3 years should be kept away unless under constant
supervison.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off
the appliance, provided that it has been placed or installed in its
intended normal operating position and they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 year and less than 8 years should not connect the
gas supply, clean the appliance or perform maintenance.
CAUTION: Some parts of this product become very
hot and cause burns.
Particular attention has been given where children and vulnerable
people are present.
Never leave a lit heater unsupervised - someone should always be
monitoring it.
Never store gas cylinders closer than 2m from open drains, openings or
gullies. LPG is more dense than air, so can collect at low levels.

CARBON MONOXIDE WARNING
Warning -
Lack of ventilation can cause Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Carbon monoxide Poisoning can kill.
Carbon Monoxide is an odourless, colourless, highly toxic gas,created
with lack of oxygen (ventalation)
If signs of Carbon Monoxide poisoning occur, they must get fresh air
immediately. Turn off the heater and have it serviced before future use.
Signs of posioning are ; Headaches, Dizziness, Nausea.
When a new appliance is installed in a dwelling, a carbon monoxide
alarm should be installed in the location of the heater.

Guarantee
For your convenience, you are not required to complete a form and return it to us in
order to validate your guarantee. However, please ensure that you retain your
receipt which will act as both proof of purchase and a guarantee validation
document. We recommend that you attach your receipt to this documentation.
Your product carries a 12 month guarantee from the date that the original purchaser
receives it. If your product fails to operate to its specification due to faulty workman-
ship or materials during the guarantee period, we will either repair or replace the
product. We will use our discretion to determine whether to offer a repair or provide
a replacement. The product will not be covered by the guarantee if it has been
misused, transformed, modified or altered in any way.
If your product fails within the guarantee period please ensure that you have all
necessary documentation available including proof or purchase (receipt or invoice
with serial number, location and date of purchase) in addition to all original undam-
aged packaging and leaflets etc. It is strongly recommended that you inspect your
product carefully before it is used or installed. For full details of your product you
should refer to the instruction manual which accompanies the product. You are
strongly advised to read this manual carefully in its entirety and to retain it for future
reference.
