Thank you for purchasing the Apollo Chiminea.
Before attempting to assemble this chiminea, please read the following
instructions carefully.
Safety Warning
Never touch the chiminea when in use or for 1 - 2 hours after the re was extinguished.
Always keep the chiminea on a at open surface away from trees and furniture and do not place on
wood decking.
Never use the chiminea in windy conditions as the smoke and ash will be blown around – causing a
potential danger hazard.
Always wear protective gloves whilst using the chiminea as the body of the chiminea can become ex-
tremely hot.
Do not leave the chiminea unattended at anytime.
Always ensure a responsible adult is present whilst using the chiminea and make sure children and pets
stay clear of the burning chiminea. Ensure no ball games are played near the chiminea or any activities
where the chiminea could be knocked over.
If you are using the chiminea grill, remember to use the fork provided to help with cooking.
Maintaining Your Chiminea
If the chiminea is exposed to cold winter temperatures, the chiminea could be prone to rusting. We
have the necessary accessories to prevent this:
A 100% waterproof cover is recommended to stop the paintwork from rusting away.
Heat resistant paint which keeps the original nish to your chiminea whilst spraying the chiminea to the
specic colour to cover any akes. We always recommend storing your Chiminea inside when not in
use, especially during adverse weather conditions and winter months.
Using Your Chiminea
All cast iron chimineas must go through a curing process the rst time you use your chiminea. This will
allow the chiminea to get used to the extremely hot temperatures the chiminea can reach.
The instructions for the curing process are listed below:
1. Ensure the chiminea is on an open, at surface before igniting the chiminea.
2. Add either wood logs, charcoal or re briquettes, however you must start just a small re that
will last 15 – 20 minutes.
3. Let the chiminea cool down and then repeat for another 15 – 20 minutes.
4. Once the chiminea has cooled down, relight the chiminea and use for around an hour whilst gradu-
ally increasing the amount of logs you use for the chiminea.
5. The chiminea will then be ready to use and can burn logs for however long required and always
remember the above safety instructions whilst using your chiminea.

Assembly Instructions
Take all items out of the box whilst ensuring all items required are packaged and in a suitable condition.
All screws and nuts should be attached in the screw holes already. They need to be hand removed
before attached onto the following parts.
Please note this chiminea requires no nuts or bolts Assembly time is ve
minutes.
Step 1
Insert the sole plate (F) into the bottom of the bowl (C) and then place into the metal stand (D)
Step 2
Add the ume (B) to the top of the chiminea bowl (C)
Step 3
Attach the chiminea rain lid (A) to the top of the ume (B) and then place the split grill (E)
inside the bowl of the chiminea.
Your chiminea is now ready to use
