Imagine a camcorder capable of capturing DVD-like video quality AND
a 3.2-megapixel digital camera all in one pocket-size photographic
device—truly a photographic marvel. That’s the new, revolutionary
Fisher CameraCorder™.
State-of-the-art digital camcorders take high-resolution video, but are serious under-performers when it comes to digital still
photographs. Conversely, high-end digital still cameras take great pictures, but typically record low-resolution, short video clips.
Until now!
The astonishing Fisher CameraCorderTM is the consummate, simple-to-use, advanced solution that affords both high-resolu-
tion video and high-end digital images. And, it is small enough to fit in your pocket or purse.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!

The All-In-One, Easy-To-Use, Multifunction Cool Alternative To Hassling with
Multiple, Bulky Cameras
What will it be: Snapshots or video? Until now, it has been one or the other, unless you wanted to
lug around two cameras. With the remarkable Fisher CameraCorderTM, there is no choice to make.
It lets you do both with one pocket-size lightweight solution! It even lets you take still shots and video
at the same time! Or capture an image from video footage.
Baby taking his first steps? Simply push the video button and catch those toddling beginnings. The
twins playing dress up? Push the digital camera button to capture those lipstick smeared moments
forever. Junior’s big game this afternoon? While you are catching the action on video, you can
simultaneously take some snap shots of his game winning hit, too. And don’t forget to take a picture
of the new home to e-mail to relatives and friends across country.
The Fisher CameraCorderTM is the first camera to incorporate both a 3.2-megapixel digital still camera
and a MPEG-4 digital camcorder offering DVD-like video quality in one pocket-size product. Plus, the
CameraCorderTM easily connects to a TV or PC, allowing you to effortlessly view and enjoy your work,
no matter what mode you shot in.
Whatever the moment, mood, or situation, with the revolutionary Fisher CameraCorderTM, you will have the
right camera in the palm of your hand to capture it.
COMPACT SIZE
You might think that a dual-purpose, sophisticated piece of photographic equipment,
such as this, would be big, bulky, and pretty cumbersome to take along with you,
especially considering it combines two entirely different types of camera technology.
Nothing could be farther from the truth!
Thanks to the extraordinary talents of our resourceful engineering team, which has
been responsible for numerous advanced digital imaging technologies, the
CameraCorderTM fits neatly inside a purse or in the pocket of a shirt or jacket.
Tipping the scales at just a mere 5.4 ounces†, it weighs less than most single-function
digital cameras and is about the weight of a typical cell phone.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
In addition to its compact size, the Fisher CameraCorderTM is ergonomically designed
to fit snugly in the palm of your hand with your fingers securely wrapped around it.
This helps ensure that the camera is steady while being used, eliminating any worry
over blurred photos and herky-jerky video scenes.
DVD-LIKE QUALITY CAMCORDER
If you have ever viewed a DVD movie, you know how clear and sharp the images
are. Now, you can record remarkable, high-quality, full-motion (30fps) video yourself
with the amazing Fisher CameraCorderTM.
UNIQUE MPEG-4 CHIP CAPTURES OF ONE-HOUR DVD-LIKE VIDEO
A key component to the Fisher CameraCorderTM size and performance is its proprietary state-of-the-art MPEG-4 chip, developed specifi-
cally by our advanced video engineering team in Osaka, Japan. This leading-edge technology enables the CameraCorderTM to record at
the 2Mbps bit rate needed to capture over half an hour of DVD-like full-motion, 30-frames-per-second video on the 512MB memory card
supplied with the product (newer, high capacity 1GB memory cards are expected to become available soon). This is something that vir-
tually all of today’s memory card digital video camcorders, using either Mini DV or MPEG-2 compression formats, cannot duplicate.
Additionally, this low power consumption chip, combined with the camera’s ultra-thin Lithium Ion battery, maximizes recording time.
The open MPEG-4 video and audio standard is a major advancement over earlier MPEG-1 (the principal technology in CD video) and
MPEG-2 (compressed video format) technologies. Not only does our exclusive MPEG-4 chip deliver higher video definition and higher
quality AAC format stereo sound, which is much better than the previous formats, it does so in a much smaller file size, making it easier
and quicker to download or electronically send files. MPEG-4 is among the most advanced video standards for such applications as
Internet multimedia, interactive video games, interpersonal communications, interactive storage media, and wireless multimedia.
What does all of this mean to the CameraCorderTM user?
Simply put: A better MPEG-4 chip equals a better digital video solution!

3.2-MEGAPIXEL DIGITAL CAMERA
3.2-megapixels—more pixels than you’ll find in many single-function digital still cameras! With this many pixels, the Fisher
CameraCorderTM afford crisp, super-clear, bright images that are very close in quality to professional 35mm shots. It captures still digital
photos in super fine, fine, and normal resolutions. Images as large as 11”x 14” can be easily output through a color printer or sent via
e-mail without any loss of clarity.
MULTIFUNCTION CAPABILITY
Not only does the CameraCorderTM take both digital still pictures and full-motion 30fps video, but it also has the ability to do both simul-
taneously! Special technology allows users to take snap shots as they record video. The still images are saved in a different file, allow-
ing easy viewing after the video recording is complete. Still images may also be captured and saved from the recorded video.
The Fisher CameraCorderTM—truly the best of both worlds!
SD MEMORY CARD (INCLUDED)
The CameraCorderTM makes use of the highly advanced SD (Secure Digital) removable memory card for
storing images and video. This solid-state, flash-memory based, non-volatile storage card provides a compact,
reliable, easy-to-use medium to store high volumes of audio-visual data. Though only the size of a postage
stamp, the card offers an incredible combination of high storage capacity, fast data transfer, great flexibili-
ty, and excellent security. Downloading data to a PC or laptop for permanent storage or viewing is
fast, simple and secure. The CameraCorderTM comes packed with a 512MB SD card, more than
enough to get you started in an exciting new world of digital still and video imaging.
MULTIFUNCTION DOCKING STATION
The multifunction docking station performs many vital tasks. It can be used as a battery charger
or as an AC power source for the camera during playback. It can be used to easily connect the
CameraCorderTM to a TV or PC for instant playback and enjoyment of what you just
shot. It also makes a convenient storing location for the camera when it is not in
use. A handy remote control unit is included for simplified docking station opera-
tion.
PREPROGRAMMED EXPOSURE SETTINGS & FILTER MODES
Make the most of your new digital imaging opportunities with the CameraCorder’s built-in exposure
settings and filters. The Scene Select menu lets you choose from five different options: Sports
(for a fast-moving subject), Portrait (softens background to emphasize subject), Landscape (cap-
tures subtle color and light variations in distant scenery), Night View (captures foreground sub-
ject plus background night illumination) and Lamp (ideal for subjects lit by low light or
candle light). There are also five filter functions to add a creative touch to your stills and
videos: Cosmetic (enhances skin tones), Slim (adjusts aspect ratio to fit more into shot),
Monochrome (for that artsy black & white look), Sepia (changes the color tone for a
vintage look) and Ghost (highlights subject’s movement against a static background).
SEMI-TRANSMISSIVE, LOW-TEMPERATURE POLYSILICON TFT LCD
The Fisher CameraCorderTM features a bright, low-temperature polysilicon Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD, with 110,000 pixels of resolu-
tion. This display technology utilizes a semi-transmissive panel to overcome problems caused by light reflection in sunny weather. Indirect
sunlight, the backlight can be turned off for a clearer on-screen image.

VIDEO SUPERIORITY
When compared to a traditional camcorder, the Fisher CameraCorderTM is vastly superior in a number of ways.
These include:
SIZE
Since it does not have a tape mechanism, the CameraCorderTM is much smaller and reliable than a traditional camcorder.
RELIABILITY
Since the tape transport and all of the video recording heads as well as all parts and mechanisms needed to move tape
have been eliminated, the unit affords tremendously greater reliability than traditional digital camcorders. Also, since the
CameraCorderTM does not use tape, there is no worry about tape stretching and breaking.
MAINTENANCE
With the elimination of all of the tape parts and mechanisms, no cleaning of heads and guides is required.
QUICK START
With a traditional camcorder, the tape must be set at the end of a ‘scene’ to avoid accidental overwriting of previously
recorded material. The Fisher CameraCorderTM automatically locates the end of a ‘scene’, eliminating the possibility of
accidentally overwriting material.
INTERACTIVITY
A hallmark of the Fisher CameraCorderTM is its interactivity. It may be used for streaming videos, providing web content,
editing videos, and included in e-mails. With a traditional camcorder, you are pretty much limited to viewing on a TV with
little editing capability.
INSTANT ACCESS
The CameraCorderTM provides thumbnail images of scenes stored on the SD memory card. As many as nine thumbnail
images can be displayed on screen at the same time. This makes it far easier to access a desired ‘scene’ than the tradi-
tional camcorder’s time-consuming method of rewinding or fast forwarding in order to find a specific ‘scene’.
EASY EDITING
CameraCorderTM recordings are done in separate files, making it easier to delete or insert material. With a traditional
camcorder, it is virtually impossible to insert or delete material without overwriting or leaving blank spaces.
