TFTLCDDisplays
Thecolorsofthedisplaymayseemtovarywhenviewedagainst
acoloredbackgroundorincoloredlight.Thisisaperfectlynormal
effectthatcanbeseenwithallcolorLiquidCrystalDisplays(LCDs).
IncommonwithallThinFilmTransistor(TFT)LCDunits,thescreen
mayexhibitafew(lessthan7)wronglyilluminatedpixels.These
mayappearasblackpixelsinalightareaofthescreenorascolored
pixelsinblackareas.

AlthoughthewaterproofratingcapacityofRaymarineproducts
exceedsthatcalledforbytheIPX6standard,waterintrusion
andsubsequentequipmentfailuremayoccurifanyRaymarine
equipmentissubjectedtocommercialhighpressurewashing.
Raymarinewillnotwarrantequipmentsubjectedtohighpressure
washing.

Raymarinecablesmaybettedwithsuppressionferrites.These
areimportantforcorrectEMCperformance.Ifaferritehastobe
removedforanypurpose(e.g.installationormaintenance),itmust
bereplacedintheoriginalpositionbeforetheproductisused.
Useonlyferritesofthecorrecttype,suppliedbyRaymarine
authorizeddealers.

on-screeninstructionsfortheinitialsetup.Ifyourinstrumenthas
beeninstalledbyaprofessionalinstaller,thisprocessmayalready
havebeencarriedout.

networkeddisplays.
Youcanonlyuseandsetsharedbrightnessondisplayswhich
supportsharingandareassignedtonetworkgroups.
Youwillnotbeabletosetsharedbrightnesslevelsondisplays
whichdonotsupportsharing.
Adjustingthedisplaysbrightness
Toadjustthebrightnessoftheindividualdisplay:
1.WhilstinafavoritepagemomentarilypresstheLEFTSOFT
button.
Thiswillopenthebrightnesssettingscreen.
2.UsetheUPandDOWNbuttonstochangethebrightness
percentagetotherequiredlevel.
3.PresstheRIGHTSOFTbuttontoconrmnewbrightnessandgo
backtothefavoritespageyouwereon.
AssigningANetworkGroup
Whenassignedtoanetworkgroupyoucanchangebrightnesslevel
andcolorschemeondisplayswhichsupportsharing.
Toenablesharedbrightnessandcolorschemesthedisplaymust
beassignedtoanetworkgroupasfollows:
1.NavigatetoMenu>SetUp>SystemSetUp>NetworkGroup.
