INSTALLATION GUIDE
Hanging Float Rack®
3 Float Model
floatstorage.com®
You have just purchased the finest Hanging Float Racks®
available in today’s market. All of our float products are
manufactured with Furniture Grade PVC pipe & fittings. By
using 100% PVC Furniture Grade material
throughout,
en-
sures that our pipe will never scratch, peel, chip or flake
off.
Furniture Grade PVC is superior for use due to its ultravio-
let stability, impact resistance and high gloss finish. This is
the same material used in manufacturing high-end medical
equipment, such as wheelchairs, gurneys, walkers, etc., as
well as many outdoor uses in towel racks, patio furniture,
patio tables, etc. It is low maintenance and lightweight
making it easy to assemble and install in your desired loca-
tion.
We thank you for your recent purchase and Happy Float-
ing!

Installation steps
Installation steps cont’d...
8. Insert the second screw in the pre-drilled hole
right above the long bracket and then the third
screw in the pre-drilled hole above,
(approximately in the middle of the vertical
stand). (Notice the photo above now has three
screws).
9. Slide the second “arm” on the vertical stand.
10. Screw the fourth screw in the pre-drilled hole
just above the second “arm”.
11. Slide the remaining mounting bracket over the
vertical stand.
12. Slide the 3rd and remaining “arm” over the
vertical stand.
13. Screw the fifth screw just above the third arm.
14. Insert Cap in the top of the vertical stand. (See
Photo). The Cap will normally secure itself to
the vertical stand. If it doesn’t, use a small
amount of PVC Cement, (not provided), to
secure. Always insert cement into the “female”
end of the pipe. Be sure to wipe off any excess
cement immediately.
15. You are now ready to mount your
rack..
16. Fasten the mounting brackets using the
appropriate hardware for the surface
you are mounting to, i.e.: wood screws,
molly bolts, brick/cement fasteners, etc.
(these are not provided). We highly
recommend you use washers for each
hardware item. Do not over tighten
mounting bracket screws.
17. After mounting, you are now ready to
store your floats.
18. Hang the first float on the top “arm”,
then the second, and finally the third.
These racks were designed for your
floats to be hung in this order to ensure
proper hanging.
19. If you purchased the optional
Happy Floating!
1. DETERMINE LOCATION...
2. Determine where you want to mount your
float storage rack. Remember the bottom
“arm” must be at least 75” from the ground to
accommodate the most popular floats of 73”
height. (The top bracket should be approxi-
mately 8 feet from the ground)
3. LET’S ASSEMBLE THE RACK…
4. Screw one of the provided screws to the
lower position of the vertical stand. DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN. (See Photo).
5. Slide one of the “arms” on to the vertical
stand.
6. Now slide the longer of the two mounting
brackets through the vertical stand. It is im-
portant you assemble in this exact order or
your floats will not hang properly. This is the
bottom of the rack.
7. Make sure the tabs on both mounting brackets
are positioned as illustrated below. This ap-
plies to BOTH the lower and upper brackets.
