Preparation
1. While usin your product always wear substantial
footwear and lon trousers.Do not operate the
equipment when barefoot or wearin open
sandals.
2. Make sure the lawn is clear of sticks, stones,
bones, wire and debris; they could be thrown by
the blade.
3. Before usin the machine and after any impact,
check for si ns of wear or dama e and repair as
necessary.
4. Replace worn or dama ed blades to ether with
their fixin s in sets to preserve balance.
Use
1. Use the product only in dayli ht or ood artificial
li ht.
2. Avoid operatin your product in wet rass, where
feasible.
3. On slopes, be extra careful of your footin and
wear non-slip footwear.
4. Mow across the face of slopes, never up and
down.
5. Exercise extreme caution when chan in
direction on slopes. Walk never run.
6. Do not mow excessively steep slopes.

7. Do not walk backwards when mowin , you could
trip.
8. Never cut rass by pullin the product towards
you.
9. Switch off before pushin the product over
surfaces other than rass.
10. Never operate the product with dama ed uards
or without uards in place.
11. Switch on the motor accordin to instructions and
with feet well away from the blade(s).
12. Do not tilt product when the motor is runnin ,
except when startin and stoppin . In this case,
do not tilt more than absolutely necessary and lift
only the part which is away from the operator.
Always ensure that both hands are in the
operatin position before returnin the appliance
to the round.
13. Do not put hands or feetnear or under rotatin
parts.
14. Never pick up or carry a product when it is
operatin or still connected to the battery..
15. Remove the isolator key :
- before leavin the product unattended for any
period;
- before clearin a blocka e;
- before checkin , cleanin or workin on the
appliance;
- if you hit an object. Do not use your product until
you are sure that the entire product is in a safe
operatin condition;
- if the product starts to vibrate abnormally. Check
immediately. Excessive vibration can cause
injury.
Maintenance and stora e
1. Caution - Do not touch rotatin blade.
2. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws ti ht to be sure
the lawnmower is in safe workin condition.
3. Check the rassbox frequently for wear or
deterioration.
4. Replace worn or dama ed parts for safety.
5. Only use the replacement blade, and blade bolt
specified for this product.
6. Be careful durin adjustment of the product to
prevent entrapment of the fin ers between
movin blades and fixed parts of the machine.
7. Store in a cool dry place and out of reach of
children. Do not store outdoors.
8. Allow the product to cool for at least 30 minutes
before storin .
Recommendations for Optimal Handlin of the
Battery
1. Ensure the switch is in the off position before
insertin battery pack. Insertin the battery pack
into machines that have the switch on invites
accidents.
2. Keep the battery char er away from rain or
moisture. Penetration of water in the battery
char er increases the risk of an electric shock.
3. Rechar e only with the char er specified by the
manufacturer. A char er that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when
used with another battery pack. Do not char e
other batteries. The battery char er is suitable
only for char in lithium ion batteries within the
listed volta e ran e. Otherwise there is dan er of
fire and explosion.
4. Keep the battery char er clean. Contamination
can lead to dan er of an electric shock.
5. Before each use, check the battery char er, cable
and plu . If dama e is detected, do not use the
battery char er. Never open the battery char er
yourself. Have repairs performed only by a
qualified technician and only usin ori inal spare
parts. Dama ed battery char ers, cables and
plu s increase the risk of an electric shock.
6. Do not operate the battery char er on easily
inflammable surfaces (e. ., paper, textiles, etc.)
or surroundin s. The heatin of the battery
char er durin the char in process can pose a
fire hazard.
7. Use only appropriate battery packs intended
specifically for the machine. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
8. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects
that can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shortin the battery terminals to ether
may cause burns or a fire.
9. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritations or burns.
10. Do not open the battery. Dan er of short-
circuitin .
11. Protect the battery a ainst heat, e. . a ainst
continuous intense sunli ht, fire, water, and
moisture. Dan er of explosion.
12. Do not short-circuit the battery. There is dan er
of explosion. In case of dama e and improper
use of the battery, vapours may be emitted.
Ventilate the area and seek medical help in case
of complaints. The vapours can irritate the
respiratory system.
13. Protect the battery a ainst moisture and water.
14. Store the battery only within a temperature ran e
between 0°C and 50°C. As an example, do not
leave the battery in the car in summer.
15. Occasionally clean the ventin slots of the battery
usin a soft, clean and dry brush.

Assembly of Lower Handles to Deck
1. Unscrew the lower handle knobs (A).
2. Place the lower handle as illustrated in Fi B and
re-attach the lower handle knobs.
Assembly of Upper Handles to Lower Handles.
1. Ensure the upper handle is located correctly with
the lock-off button on the switchbox uppermost.
2. Ensure the upper handle (C1) and the lower handle
(C2) are ali ned correctly.
4. Fit the bolts (C3), washers (C4) and win knobs
(C5). Ti hten the win knobs.
5. Fit the cable to the handles with the clips provided
(D1). Make sure the cable is not trapped between
the upper and lower handles.
Grassbox Assembly
1. Slide the rassbox ton ue into the slots in the lower
rassbox half until it clicks securely into position (E)
2. Push the rassbox handle into the slots in the upper
rassbox half until it clicks securely into position. (F)
3. Attach the rassbox halves to ether by ali nin the
clips (G). Ensure all clips are correctly located
before clickin into position.
4. Clip the rassbox halves to ether, ensurin all clips
are securely connected.
Fittin Fully Assembled Grassbox to Lawnmower.
1. Lift safety flap (H1)
2. Locate fully assembled rassbox onto 2 location
points at the rear of the deck (H)
4. Locate safety flap onto the top of the rassbox.
Ensure the rassbox is securely located.
•IMPORTANT !
AFTER FITTING ENSURE NO GAP REMAINS
BETWEEN THE SAFETY FLAP AND THE
GRASSBOX.
• Removal is the reverse procedure.

The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure
full capacity of the battery, completely charge the
battery in the battery charger before using your
product for the first time.
The battery can be charged at any time without
reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging
procedure does not damage the battery. The battery
includes built-in protection against deep discharging.
When the battery is run down or discharged, the
product is shut off by means of a protective circuit:
The blade no longer moves.
Battery
Battery Char in
1. Connect the charger to the power supply – mains
voltage and operating voltage of the charger must
be the same – see "Charging Procedure".
Operate the charger only in enclosed and dry
rooms at ambient temperatures between 0°C and
45°C.
2. Push the battery pack into the charger (J).

Char in Procedure
● Do not use other battery chargers. The supplied
battery charger is designed for the battery in your
product.
● The voltage of the power supply must correspond
with the data given on the nameplate of the
battery charger. Battery charger can operate
between 100-240V/AC.
● The battery is equipped with temperature
monitoring that allows charging only in the
temperature range between 0 °C and 45 °C. In
this manner, a high battery service life is achieved.
Charging Procedure
The charging procedure starts as soon as the mains
plug of the battery charger is plugged into the socket
outlet and the battery is inserted into the charging
compartment.
Due to the intelligent charging method, the charging
condition of the battery is automatically detected and
the battery is charged with the optimum charging
current, depending on battery temperature and voltage.
This gives longer life to the battery and always
leaves it fully charged when kept in the charger for
storage.
The charging procedure is indicated by the
charger control light lashing green

Battery Charged
The battery is ully charged when the battery
lights go out and the charger control light shows
a continuous green light.
Afterwards, the battery can be removed for
immediate use.
With no battery inserted, the charger control light is
solid red, indicating that the mains plug is plugged
into the socket and that the battery charger is ready
for operation.

Battery Temperature below 0oC or above 45oC
I the charger control light lashes red when the
battery is installed, this indicates that the battery
temperature is not within the charging temperature
range o 0 °C – 45 °C.
As soon as the allowable temperature range is reached,
the battery charger automatically switches to charging.
Charging Advice
With continuous or several repetitive charging cycles
without interruption, the charger can become warm.
This is not meaningful and does not indicate a
technical defect of the battery charger.
A significantly reduced working period after charging
indicates that the battery is used and must be
replaced. Observe the notes for disposal.
Battery Charge-control Indication
Press the button to actuate the three battery charge
indicator lights. After approximately 5 seconds, the
lights go out automatically.
The charge condition can also be checked when the
battery is removed.

When no battery charge indicator lights up after
actuating the button, the battery is defective and
must be replaced.
For safety reasons, the charge condition of the
battery can only be checked when the product is at a
standstill.
Temperature Control Indicator
If the red warning light illuminates for 5 seconds after
pressing the button on the battery, this signals that
the battery or the electronics of the product (with
battery inserted) are not within the optimum
temperature range. When this occurs, the product
will not operate, or it will not operate at full capacity.
Temperature Control o the Battery
The red warning light flashes when pushing button or
pressing the On/Off switch (when the battery is
inserted): The battery is not within the temperature
range for operation of -16±3℃ to 69±3℃.
The battery switches off at a temperature above 70
°C until the optimum temperature range is reached
again.
Area o Cut (Battery Duration)
The area of cut (battery duration) depends on lawn
conditions, grass density, moisture content, grass
length and height of cut.
Switching the machine on and off frequently during
cutting will also reduce the area of cut (battery
duration).
To improve the area of cut (battery duration) it is
recommended to cut more frequently, raise the
cutting height and walk at a normal pace.
To increase the run time an additional battery can be
purchased.

Attaching the Battery
1. Open the battery cover (K1).
2. Place the battery into the battery compartment
(K2) and push down until it clicks into position.
3. Place the isolator key (K3) into the socket (K4) in
the battery compartment.
4. Turn the isolator key to the ‘on’ position (L1).
Note:- The motor can be started only when the
isolator key is fitted and turned to the ‘on’ position.
Attachin and Removin the Battery
Adjustin the Cuttin Hei ht
Make sure your machine is switched off and the blade
has come to a complete stop before adjustin the
cuttin hei ht.
ATTENTION: The blades continue to rotate for a few
seconds after the machine is switched off. A rotatin
blade can cause injury.
Your lawnmower is equipped with a central hei ht
adjustment system, offerin 5 hei ht settin s: 25mm,
35mm, 45mm, 55mm, 65mm.
Select the cuttin hei ht by lockin the lever in the
desired position. Move lever outward, slide to correct
position, move inward to lock it a ain. From rear to front,
the adjustable hei ht is from 25mm to 65mm. (Fi M)
Note : For the first cut of the season, a hi h cuttin
position should be selected.

Removing the Battery
1. Open the battery cover (K1).
2. Turn the isolator key to the ‘off’ position (L2).
3. Press the button at the front of the battery
compartment (L3), which will unlock the battery.

Startin and Stoppin
To Start your Lawnmower
The switchbox is provided with a lock-off button (N1)
to prevent accidental startin .
1. Press and hold the lock-off button (N) on the
switchbox, then squeeze one of the Start/Stop
levers towards the upper handle (P).
2. Continue to squeeze the start/stop lever towards the
upper handle and release the lock-off button (R).
3. Lower the lawnmower to its proper operatin
position and commence mowin .
•NOTE - There are two start/stop levers fitted, either
one can be used for startin the lawnmower.
• IMPORTANT - Do not use the start/stop levers
intermittently
To Stop your Lawnmower
1. Release the pressure on the Start/Stop lever.

How to Mow
Mow twice a week durin the rowin season. Your lawn will suffer if more than one-third of its len th is cut at
one time. This may also result in poor collection.
Do Not Overload Your Mower
Mowin lon , thick rass may cause the motor speed to drop. You will hear a chan e in the motor sound. If the
motor speed drops. you may overload your lawnmower and cause dama e. When mowin in lon , thick rass,
a first cut with the cuttin hei ht set hi her will help reduce the load. See “Adjustin the Cuttin Hei ht”
Removin and Fittin the Blade
Switch off, wait until the blade has stopped rotatin
and turn the isolator key to the ‘off’ position BEFORE
attemptin to remove or refit the blade.
Always handle the blade with care - sharp ed es
could cause injury. USE GLOVES.
Removin the Blade
• Use a suitable piece of wood to block the cuttin blade.
1. To remove the blade bolt (S1), hold the blade (S3)
firmly with a loved hand and use a spanner to
loosen the blade bolt by turnin it anti-clockwise.
2. Remove the blade bolt, washer (S2) and blade.
3. Inspect for dama e and clean as necessary.
Renew your metal blade after 50 hours mowin or 2
years, whichever is the sooner - re ardless of
condition. If the blade is cracked or dama ed,
replace it with a new one.
Fittin the Blade
1. Fit the blade onto the blade adaptor location points (S4).
2. Re-assemble blade bolt throu h the washer and
the blade.
3. Hold the blade firmly with a loved hand and
ti hten the blade bolt firmly with a spanner. Do not
over ti hten.

Carin for your Lawnmower
Cleanin
• USE GLOVES
• IMPORTANT:- It is very important that you keep your
lawnmower clean. Grass clippin s left in any of the air
intakes or under the deck could become a potential fire
hazard.
1. Remove rass from under the deck with brush. (T1)
2. Usin a soft brush - remove rass clippin s from
all air intakes (T2), the dischar e chute (T3) and
the rass box (T4).
3. Wipe over the surface of your lawnmower with a
dry cloth (T5).
•IMPORTANT:- Never use water for cleanin your
lawnmower. Do not clean with chemicals, includin
petrol, or solvents - some can destroy critical plastic
parts.
Storin your Lawnmower:
• Store in a dry place where your lawnmower is
protected from dama e
At the End of the Mowin Season
1. Replace blade, bolts, nuts or screws, if necessary.
2. Clean your lawnmower thorou hly.
