INTRODUCTION
The Electronic Flat Weighing Scale with BMI functions is designed and manufactured
in a facility certified in ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environment, OHSAS 18001
Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 13485 Medical Devices Quality
Management System.

INITIAL SET-UP
1. Uses 4pcs AAA alkaline battery.
2. Insert battery into the battery compartment.
3. Replace battery when is displayed (Fig.1).
4. Select between kilogram, stone-pound and pound conversions
with push-button at the bottom of the scale. (the default setting
unit is kg)
5. Position the scale on a at and hard oor surface.
The scale must be initialized after each battery insertion or
replacement. Press lightly on the scale platform to initialize the
scale, the display shows then show moving zero and then
turn off. The scale is ready for use after the scale turned off
(Fig.2 & Fig.3).
OPERATION
Weighing Only Operation
1. Step onto the scale and stand still while the weight is computed.
2. The screen displays the weight (Fig.4).
3. The scale turns off automatically after use.

3.1. If user steps off the scale before stable weight is obtained,
the scale will display 0.0lb/kg for 5 seconds, then the scale
will go to Off mode automatically, moving zero is shown.
3.2. If user steps off the scale after stable weight is obtained,
the stable weight is displayed for 5 seconds, the scale will
go to Off mode automatically, moving zero is shown.
3.3. If user is still on the scale over 20s, the scale will go to
Off mode directly without showing the moving zero.

3. If the selected memory is occupied, the screen then
displays the height for 3 seconds, then follow steps 4-5 in
the section of Select Memory Location.
B. To Fast-Recall Settings from Memory
1. Press ▲or ▼ to select the memory location.
2. If the selected memory is free, no numbers will be
displayed (Fig.10).

2. If the selected memory location is occupied, it will display
"
" on the left of the memory (Fig.6).
3. Press to store the settings to the desired memory
location, then height setting value will display on LCD
(Fig.7), then press ▲ or ▼ key to adjust the height, press
to conrm (Fig.8).
4. The moving zero will display on LCD when the height value
is confirmed, then “0.0kg” will be display on LCD.
5. Step onto the scale & stand still while the weight is locked,
BMI calculation value will display on LCD (Fig.9).

Weighing With BMI Functions With Memory
The scale features 5 personal memory settings. This allows
5 users to store and recall their own height.
ASelect Memory Location
1. Press ▲ or ▼ to toggle between memory locations “1”, “2”,
“3” “4” “5”, then press to conrm the location (Fig.5).

PROBLEM-SOLVING
1. Display Err0 Initialization error.
Step off the scale. Press lightly on the scale platform to re-initialize the scale, the
display shows and then turns off. The scale is ready for use again.
2. Display Err1 Instability error.
Repeat measurement again, stand still while computation is in process.
3. Display Err2 Overload warning.
Remove the weight immediately, otherwise permanent damage to the scale will
occur.
RS232 Output
1. Always is on after power up
2. The default setting of the baud rate is 9600,8,n,1.
3. Once the weight is locked, the weight value is transmitted out via rs232. Or At
BMI mode, the weight value and BMI value is transmitted out via rs232.
To Clear Memory
1. Follow steps 1-3 in the section of To Fast-Recall Memory.
2. If the selected memory is occupied, press and hold Clear key
will clear height memory value.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Do not disassemble the product other than replacing the battery; it contains no user
serviceable parts. Damage to the unit may occur as a result of improper handling.
2. Remove battery when the unit is not used for a prolonged period of time.
3. Clean the unit after use with a lightly dampened cloth. Do not use solvents or
immerse the unit in water.
4. Avoid excessive impact or vibration to the unit, such as dropping the product onto
the oor.
