Warranty & Disclaimer
Please be careful when using your CNC machine. This machine is an electrical device with
moving parts and dangerous areas.
•This CNC Machine is for Indoor Use Only.
•Wear the proper protection equipment while operating.
•Always place the CNC Machine on a stable surface.
•Never disassemble the Power Supply or Electrical Components. This may cause damage and will VOID the
warranty.
•DO NOT TOUCH the laser, or place any part near the working area when the machine is operating.
• DO NOT leave children unsupervised with the CNC Machine even when it’s not operating. Injury may occur.
•DO NOT leave the machine unattended while it's operating.
One Year Warranty
•This product is warranted against any defective material or workmanship for a period of twelve months from
date of delivery.
•Any parts determined by the manufacturer to be defective will be replaced in whole or part as determined by
the manufacturer, but no labor costs or other claims for damages will be allowed.

2. Click “INSTALL” 3. Wait until it shows “Driver install success”
1. Download from U disk.
Double-click to start installation.

5. To Determine your Machine's COM port
•For Windows XP: Right click "My Computer"→ Select
"Manage"→ Select "Device Manager".
•For Windows 7: Right click "Computer"→ Select
"Manage" → Select "Device Manager" from left pane.
•For Windows 10: Right click “This PC"→ Select "Manage"
→ Select "Device Manager" from left pane.
•In the tree, expand "Ports (COM & LPT)“ , your machine
will be the USB Serial Port (COMX), where the “X”
represents the COM number, for example COM6.
•If there are multiple USB serial ports, right click each one
and check the manufacturer, the machine will be “CH340”.

4. Connect the USB cable to the PC
and the control board

- User Interface Introduction
①Connection control: here you can select serial port
and proper baud rate for connection, according to grbl
firmware configuration.
②File control: this show loaded filename and engraving
process progress. The green “Play” button will start
program execution.
③Manual commands: you can type any G-Code line here
and press “enter”. Commands will be enqueued to
command queue.
④Command log and command return codes: show
enqueued commands and their execution status and
errors.
⑤Jogging control: allow manual positioning of the laser.
The left vertical slider control movement speed, right
slider control step size.

⑥Engraving preview: this area show final work preview. During engraving a small blue cross will show current laser position at
runtime.
⑦Grbl reset/homing/unlock: this buttons submit soft reset,homing and unlock command to grbl board. And some user defined
buttons. Feed hold and resume: this buttons can suspend and resume program execution sending Feed Hold or Resume
command to grbl board.
⑧Line count and time projection: LaserGRBL could estimate program execution time based on actual speed and job progress.
⑨Overrides status an control: show and change actual speed and power override. Overrides is a new feature of grbl v1.1 and is not
supported in older version.

2. Power on the machine. Connect the control board to the PC via USB, select the COM port recognized by the PC. Click the
“connect” icon. You can see two red lights lighting up on the control board.
1. LaserGRBL support custom buttons. Usually custom buttons are pre-added by default, if not, you can add them manually.
A nice set of pre-defined custom buttons can be downloaded here: http://lasergrbl.com/usage/custom-buttons/
- Right-click in button area to import custom buttons.
- After importing, you can see the following icons:

3. If the connection is successful, console window prints “Grbl 1.1h ['$' for help]”.
4. File → Open File: Open GCODE file or image format file.

5. Setting parameters, click Next. For more information, please click on the official link:

6. Set the Speed, S values and Size.
!! Note: Different materials require different engraving speed and S value. You may need to try several times to find appropriate value.

8. Place the material under the laser head. As shown below, put the locator block on the surface of the material, rotate the
knob to adjust the distance between the laser and the material. When the laser module sits on the block, you get the best
focal length (30mm).

7. You can preview the engraving in the right window.

9. Click the laser focus icon. The laser can be turned on in low power. (See picture-1)
You can turn on/off the laser in low power on the control board. (See picture-2)
10. Jog the laser head to the zero point, then turn off the laser.

11. Click the set zero point button to set the current position as zero. (The default power-on position is zero)
