FRESHWATER AG+®ACE ADAPTER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The FreshWater Ag+ adapter gives a Hot Spring®Spa or Limelight
®hot tub owner the ability to use the
FreshWater Ag+ Silver Ion Cartridge and ACE®System simultaneously. The following instructions
illustrate how to attach the FreshWater Ag+ adapter to either a Hot Spring®Spa or a Limelight
®hot tub:
FreshWater Ag+ Adapter
attached to a Hot Spring Filter
(Tri-X®or Standard Paper 30 sq. ft)
FreshWater Ag+ Adapter
attached to a Limelight Filter
(65 sq. ft.)
Hot Spring Installation:
1. Attach the FreshWater Ag+ Silver Ion
Cartridge to the FreshWater Ag+ adapter.
2. Remove the lter cap with cell, and lter.
3. Place FreshWater Ag+ adapter around the
standpipe resting it on the botom of the lter
bucket.

4. Replace lter, lower ACE cell into standpipe, and fasten the lter using the ACE lter cap.
NOTE: Once installed, the FreshWater Ag+ Silver Ion Cartridge may be removed without removing the
lter by lifting and twisting the FreshWater Ag+ Silver Ion Cartridge.

Limelight Installation:
1. Attach the FreshWater Ag+ Silver Ion
Cartridge to the FreshWater Ag+ adapter.
2. Remove the lter cap, and cell,
3. Place lter cap into large opening of the
FreshWater Ag+ adapter. Attach the lter cap.

4. Raise weir and lower the FreshWater Ag+ Silver Ion
Cartridge into small opening of the FreshWater Ag+ adapter as shown below. Check for any
interference between weir, adapter, and cartridge. Rotate adapter and cartridge if interference
exists.
