Tech Bulletin: Di2 Battery Adapter
1. This battery adapter is to be used with the Shimano Di2 battery SM-BTR2. First check that the following parts are
available: Shimano Di2 battery (SM-BTR2), battery connector, Shimano Di2 battery adapter and FSA seatpost. Note
that different seatpost models and sizes need different Di2 battery adapters for correct fit. Please check in the next
page for a list of current models and compatible adapters.
2. It is recommended that you wear gloves to protect your hands during installation.
3. Connect Shimano Battery connector ①and the Shimano Di2 battery (SM-BTR2) ②.
4. Insert the battery into end of battery adapter ③.
5. Wearing gloves, fit the battery adapter by rotating it into the end of the seatpost④.
6. Rotate the battery adapter as far as possible into to seatpost ⑤.
