1. Important Safety Information

Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
<Intended Use>
This product is the cleaning adapter used in combination with our endoscopes in
medical facilities.
Do not use this product for any other purpose.
<Precautions in Using This Product>
Before using this product, carefully read the Operation Manual (Cleaning, Disin-
fection and Storage) of the endoscope in use.
<Sterilization>
This product has not been sterilized.
When using this product, perform disinfection or sterilization at the level appro-
priate to the intended use, in accordance with the Operation Manual (Cleaning,
Disinfection and Storage) of the endoscope in use.
<Preparation and inspection before use>
Prior to using this product, prepare a spare one to avoid unexpected accidents such
as equipment failure. If a replacement is not available, you may not be able to con-
tinue endoscopic procedures.
Make sure to check this product before use according to the procedures provided
in the Operation Manual (Cleaning, Disinfection and Storage) of the endoscope
in use, to avoid unexpected accidents and take full advantage of this product’s
capabilities. If the inspection result shows any defects, do not use this product and
consult your local dealer.
<Applicable Endoscope>
This product is used in combination with our endoscopes described in “3. Main
Specification.” Do not use this product in other combinations.
<Disposal>
When disposing of this product, comply with local laws and regulations in your
area. Determine whether or not this product is to be treated as infective waste, de-
pending on the use.

CAUTION Do not store this product in a place which does not meet
the storage environment. There is a risk of failure.
