1. Wiring
Two video encoders are required, as shown below, if you want both daylight and infrared
images. Do not connect Yacht Cam’s ethernet network to the Furuno NAVnet network.

2. Axis Encoder Settings
1) Set IP address (172.31.200.3 to 172.31.200.6), resolution and PTZ settings
according to the document, Axis IP Camera Settings. Each video will count towards
your maximum Axis IP camera limit.
2) Open PTZ –> Driver Selection tab.
3) Check that Pelco PTZ driver is installed and Activate PTZ selection, then click “Save”.
if Axis encoder doesn’t have the driver, please visit at Axis Website and upload the
required driver to the video encoder.

4) Open System Option -> COM Port tab
5) (If used M7001) Check the box of “Enable port” and “Pan Tile Zoom”.
6) Select RS485 and 4800bps at Serial Port Settings.

3. Settings
1) Turn on PTZ Control of proper IP Camera number under Camera Menu.
(IP address of video encoder should match that of the camera being selected)

4. Troubleshooting
1) When cannot control Yacht Cam from the MFD.
•Check RS485 cable connection between Axis Video Encoder and Yacht Cam.

•Check if Com port baud rate of Axis Video Encoder matches the Yacht Cam
baud rate.
•Check if RS485 setting of Yacht Cam is set to CU.
