We would like you to enjoy the many benets
this unit offers, so please take the time to read
this manual carefully. After reading, please
keep this manual in a safe place for future
reference.
Warning:
Before using the air conditioner it should be
left in a upright position for at least 2 hours.
(Technical data on page 10).
Safety instructions
The unit is designed for indoor operations.
Rating: This unit must be connected to a 230
V / 50 Hz earthed outlet. The installation must
be in accordance with regulations of the coun-
try where the unit is used.
If you are in any doubt about the electrical
installation, have it checked and if necessary
modied by a qualied electrician.
• The air conditioner is safe. However, as
with other electrical appliances, use it with
care.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not clean the air conditioner by
spraying it or immersing it in water.
• Do no insert any object into the opening
of the air conditioner.
• Disconnect from the mains before cleaning
the unit or any of its components.
• Never connect to an electrical outlet using
an extension cord. If an outlet is not
available, one should be installed by
a licensed electrician.
• Any service other than regular cleaning or
lter replacement should be performed by
an authorised service representative.
Failure to do so could result in a loss of
waranty.
WARNING Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged
cord or plug. Do not rest the cord over sharp edges.
A damaged supply cord should be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a qualied
person in order to avoid a hazard.

Installation
The air conditioner consists of an indoor
mobile unit and an outdoor unit.
The units are connected to each other by a 3
metre exible tube.
The outdoor unit can be placed on the oor,
e.g. of a balcony, or hung on a wall.
• The maximum distance from the top of the
outdoor unit to the oor is 1.5 m. Distances
greater than this or any tight bends in the
interconnecting tubes may cause problems
with water discharge and unit performance.
To avoid damaging the connection tube, leave
the window open.
Installation of the outdoor unit.
Apply the spacer [16]
to the outdoor unit.
Firmly screw the
bracket [14] to the wall.
Hang the outdoor unit.
Energy saving tips:
• Use the unit in the recommended room size
(see specications).
• Do not locate the air conditioner where
furniture or other objects can obstruct the
airow.
• Keep blinds/curtains closed during the
sunniest part of the day.
• Do not place the outdoor unit in direct
sunlight.
• Close the replace damper and oor and
wall grills so that cool air does not escape
through the chimney or ductwork.
• Keep the lters clean.
• Set the unit to maximum cooling and high-
speed fan initially, then adjust the unit to a
comfortable setting.
• Do not leave the unit on cooling mode when
the outdoor temperature may fall below 18°C.

Operation
ON/OFF
Press ON/OFF button the unit will start to work at the last setting. If the wall socket
is switched off, the unit defaults to the factory setting. To turn the unit off, press the
ON/OFF button again.
Timer
Press the Timer button to set the operating hours (1 to 12 hours, the timer LED will
ligth up). When the set time has elapsed, the unit will turn off automatically. The
display will show the hour(s) you set as you press the button. If the Timer button is not
pressed, the unit will work continuously. By pressing the Timer button without turning
on the unit, you can PRE-SET the time for the unit to work. For example, if you press
the time to ‘2’, the unit will come on automatically after 2 hours.
Mode
Press the Mode button to select the required working mode:
The LED illustrating your selected mode lights up.
AUTO mode
• higher than 23°C, the unit will work in cooling mode.
• higher than 20°C but below or equal to 23°C, the unit will work in ventilation mode.
Indicators of the functions in progress come on at the same time, e.g. and
i.e. cooling with low fan speed.
Fan speed button
Press the fan speed button to choose the fan speed you require, high or low .
The LED will light up at the same time.

If the unit is in mode, it will select the fan speed automatically according to the
ambient temperature (the related LED will light up), at this time the fan speed button is
inoperative.
Temperature selection
Press the or button to select the temperature you desire (ranging
from 18°C to 32°C).
The Display will show the temperature you set as you press the or
button. Otherwise, it will always display the room temperature .
The pre-set room temperature of this unit is higher than 23°C for cooling.
Sleep mode
This mode can only be used when cooling is selected. Press the button. Every
hour the temperature will rise by 1°C, to a maximum of 2°C. After 12 hours the unit will
switch off automatically. Press the button again to cancel sleep mode. In the
sleep mode the set temperature cannot be changed.
Remote control
All the above functions can also be performed with the supplied remote control. This
remote control requires 2 AAA-batteries to operate.
Notices!
• To prolong the unit’s life, after switching off the unit, please wait for 3 minutes before
switching on again.
• In cooling mode the compressor will switch off if the room temperature is LOWER than set.
The fan, however, keeps working at the set level. If the room temperature rises above the
selected level, cooling will resume.
• Do not use this air conditioner in cooling mode when the outdoor air temperature is below 18°C.

Regulating the airow direction
Turn the roller on the air vent to control the air
ow direction of the vertical louvres.
Move the air vent directly to adjust the air ow
direction of the horizontal louvres.
Drainage
The unit is equipped with an automatic
drainage function. The condesed water will be
pumped from the back of the indoor unit to the
outdoor unit.
You may also connect a water tube (dia.
14.5mm) to the discharge hole in the outdoor
unit to channel the water away.
Make sure the water always drains away
freely.
Maintenance
Always unplug the unit from the mains before beginning the cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth
to wipe the body clean. Never use aggressive chemicals, gasoline, detergants, chemically treated
cloths or other cleaning solutions. These could possibly damage the cabinet.
Use a vacuum cleaner or tap the lter lightly to remove loose dust and dirt from the lters and then
rinse the washable lter thoroughly under running water (no hotter than 40°C).
Notice! The carbon lter must be removed before rinsing under running water.
Notice! Never operate the unit without the lters.

Complete drain and storage
Please note - all condensed water must be
drained prior to relocation or storage.
Unplug the unit from the mains.
Place the unit over a drain or a water tray /
container. Remove the water bung from the
bottom of the unit. When water no longer falls,
replace the bung.
When the unit is not in
use, tidy the power cord
away as shown.
Clean or change the lter. On a warm day, turn the unit to ventilation mode for a couple of hours
so that the inside can dry out completely.
It is recommended that the unit be put back into its original carton for storage. Do not stack heavy
objects on top of the unit.
Disconnecting the indoor and outdoor unit
If the indoor unit needs to be disconnected from the
outdoor unit, to place it in a more suitable position,
follow these steps:
Disconnecting
• open the tube connection box [11] situated
at the back of the indoor unit.
• disconnect the connection tube to unit
securing strap [12]
• disconnect the drain tube [C].
• disconnect the electrical cable [A].
• disconnect the refrigerant tubes [B] using
the spanners [15] provided.
The terminals are tted with automatic self-
sealing valves to prevent the gas from leaking.
Loosen the nuts quickly, so the seal is made
promptly.
During the operation take extreme care not to
break the refrigerant tubes.
• cap the terminals with the caps [17]
provided to protect them from dust.
Mount the outdoor unit on the bracket as
describeb on page 5.
Connecting
• pass the connection tube through the hole
(at least dia. 50 mm) if present.
• remove the protection caps (if used
previously).
• reconnect the refrigerant tubes (tighten the
nuts quickly to make a good seal), the drain
tube and the electrical cable.
• close the connection box on the indoor unit.

Betriebsanleitung
Bitte studieren Sie diese Betriebsanleitung vor
der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes. Bewahren
Sie die Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig auf.
Wichtig:
Bevor das Klimagerät eingeschaltet wird,
muss das Gerät mindestens 2 Stunden in
aufrechter Stellung stehen.
Sicherheitsvorschriften
Das Gerät ist ausschliesslich geeignet für den
Betrieb in dem Innenbereich eines Gebäudes.
Stromanschluss: Das Gerät an 230V / 50Hz
Wechselstrom nur über eine vorschriftsmässig
installierte Steckdose anschliessen.
ACHTUNG: Das Klimagerät darf nur an
eine geerdete Steckdose angeschlossen
werden. Der Stecker muss leicht zugäng-
lich sein wenn das Gerät an die Steckdose
angeschlossen ist.
Vor der Inbetriebnahme des Geräte überprü-
fen Sie bitte ob:
• Die Netzspannung mit dem Typenschild
übereinstimmt.
• Steckdose und Versorgungsnetz für den
Betrieb des Gerätes geeignet sind.
• Der Netzstecker in die Steckdose passt.
Im Zweifelsfall die elektrische Anlage von
einem Fachmann überprüfen und ggf. ändern
lassen.
Bei Nichteinhalten der Unfallverhütungsvor-
schriften kann der Hersteller nicht haftbar
gemacht werden.
• Das Klimagerät ist ein sicheres Gerät. Wie
bei allen anderen elektrischen Geräten,
muss auch dieses sorgfältig behandelt
werden.
• Lufteinlass- und Luftauslassgitter dürfen
niemals mit irgendwelchen Gegenständen
abgedeckt werden.
• Leeren Sie den Wasserbehälter bevor Sie
das Gerät umstellen.
• Bringen Sie das Gerät nicht in Kontakt mit
Chemikalien.
• Das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten untertauchen:
KURZSCHLUSSGEFAHR!
• Nicht mit irgendwelchen Gegenständen in
das Gerät eindringen.
• Bevor Sie das Gerät oder einen Teil
reinigen, unbedingt den Netzstecker ziehen.

stecker verwenden. Netzkabel nicht über Ecken oder scharfe
Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen.
Ein Auswechseln der Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes darf nur durch einen erfahrenen Servicemonteur erfol-
gen, um jedes nur mögliche Risiko zu vermeiden.

Installation
Das Klimagerät besteht aus einem Raumteil
und einem Aussenteil, verbunden durch eine
ca. 3 m lange exible Leitung.
Das Raumteil wird in den zu klimatisierenden
Raum aufgestellt. Beachten Sie dabei fol-
gendes:
• Stellen Sie das Raumteil immer aufrecht
und auf einer ebenen Fläche auf.
• Das Gerät nicht (in der Nähe der) Bade-
wanne, Dusche oder in einer anderen
nassen oder dunstigen Umgebung
benutzen.
• Halten Sie für eine freie Luftzirkulation
einen Abstand von mindestens 50 cm
von Wänden, Möbeln und Vorhängen ein.
Das Aussenteil kann auf eine Fensterbrüs-
tung oder einen Balkon gestellt werden.
Anhängen an eine Aussenwand ist möglich,
aber nicht höher als 1.5 m. Grössere als
diese Entfernungen können Probleme mit der
Entwässerung und der Leistung des Gerätes
verursachen.
Ein Öffnung an einem Fenster oder einer Tür
um die flexible Leitung durchzuführen ist eine
notwendige und hinreichende Bedingung.

Bedienung
EIN/AUS
Drücken Sie auf die EIN/AUS Taste um das Gerät einzuschalten. Ausschalten durch
erneutes drücken auf die EIN/AUS Taste.
Zeitschalter
Mit der Zeitschaltertaste können Sie eine Betriebszeit von 1 bis 12 Stunden einstellen
(LED-Anzeige leuchtet). Nach Ablauf der gewählten Zeit schaltet das Gerät sich auto-
matisch ab. Das Display zeigt die eingestellte Betriebszeit in Stunden.
Wenn das Gerät betriebsbereit ist, aber noch nicht läuft, dann können Sie mit der Zeit-
schaltertaste eine Stundenzahl einprogrammieren zum automatischen Einschalten.
Funktionsschalter
Drücken Sie auf die Funktionstaste um den Betriebsmodus zu wählen:
automatisch, kühlen oder lüften. Die entsprechende LED-Anzeige leuchtet.
Im Automatik-Modus und bei Temperaturen höher als 23°C kühlt das Gerät; liegt die
Temperatur zwischen 20°C und 23°C, dann wird ventiliert. Anzeige von mehreren Funk-
tionen ist möglich, z.B. kühlen und niedrige Ventilatorgeschwindigkeit .
Ventilatorgeschwindigkeit
Mit der Ventilatortaste kann die gewünschte Ventilatorgeschwindigkeit gewählt werden:
hoch oder niedrig . Die entsprechende LED-Anzeige leuchtet.

Temperatureinstellung
Mit und stellen Sie die einzuhaltende Temperatur ein (im Bereich von
18°C bis 32°C). Das Display zeigt diese Einstellung.
Ist das Gerät eingeschaltet, dann wird die Raumtemperatur angezeigt (LED-Anzeige
leuchtet).
Drücken Sie oder um die von Ihnen eingestellte Temperatur zu sehen
( leuchtet), dann wird nach einigen Sekunden wieder die Raumtemperatur ange-
zeigt.
Funktion ‘SLEEP’
Diese Funktion können Sie nur dann verwenden, wenn die Kühlfunktion eingeschaltet
ist. Auf drücken.
Jede Stunde soll die Temperatur um 1°C steigen, die Temperatur wird maximal 2°C
erhöht. Nach 12 Stunden schaltet das Klimagerät automatisch ab. Durch erneutes
drücken wird diese Funktion wieder ausgeschaltet.
Während der Funktion ‘SLEEP’ kann die gewählte Temperatur nicht geändert werden
und die LED-Anzeige leuchtet.
Fernbedienung
Das Gerät lässt sich ebenso mit der Fernbedienung einstellen. Zum Betrieb sind 2
AAA-Batterien notwendig.
Anmerkungen!
• Um die Lebensdauer des Kompressors zu verlängern, warten Sie bitte mindestens 3 Minuten
nachdem Sie das Gerät abgeschaltet haben, bevor Sie es wieder einschalten.
• Das Kühlsystem schaltet ab, wenn die Raumtemperatur niedriger ist als der eingestellte Wert.
Die Ventilation ndet jedoch weiterhin auf dem eingestellten Niveau statt. Wenn die Raum-
temperatur über den eingestellten Wert steigt, beginnt die Kühlung wieder zu arbeiten.
• Benutzen Sie diesen Airconditioner nicht im Kühlmodus, wenn die Aussentemperaturen unter
18°C liegen.

Luftstromrichtung
Drehen um den Stand der vertikalen Lamellen

Entwässerung
Das Gerät ist mit einer automatischen
Entwässerungsfunktion ausgestattet. Das
Kondenswasser wird von der Rückseite
des Innenteils zum Aussenteil gepumpt. Sie
können zusätzlich einen Wasserschlauch
(14.5mm Durchmesser) an das Abussloch
des Aussenteils anschliessen, um das Wasser
abiessen zu lassen. Der Schlauch sollte
keineswegs einen freien Ablauf verhindern.
Reinigung
Bei allen Wartungsarbeiten und bei Reinigung oder Ersatz des Gerätes oder Ersatzteilen,
unbedingt das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen. Das Gehäuse mit einem
feuchten Tuch reinigen. Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Chemikalien, Benzin, Lösungsmittel
oder andere Reinigungsmittel.
Der Filter sollte regelmässig mit einem Staubsauger oder unter iessendem Wasser gereinigt
werden. Lassen Sie den Filter anschliessend gut trocknen.
Anmerkung! Gebrauchen Sie das Gerät nie ohne Filter.

Aufbewahrung
Lassen Sie das kondensierte Wasser kom-
plett ablaufen.
Reinigen Sie den Filter.
Schalten Sie an einem sonnigen Tag das
Gerät einige Stunden im Ventilatormodus ein,
damit das Innere komplett austrocknen kann. Netzkabel aufwickeln.
Das Netzkabel aufwickeln, das Gerät vor Staub schützen und an einem trockenen und für Kinder
unzugänglichen Ort aufbewahren.

Abmontieren
Abbildung A:
• Die Anschlussdose [11] auf der Rück-
seite des Aussenteiles öffnen.
• Verbindungsschlauch von der Schraube
an der Halterung trennen [12].
Abbildung B:
• Das Kondenswasserussrohr [I] abkoppeln.

• Mit Hilfe der Schraubenschlüssel [15] die
Kühlmittelrohre [III] abkoppeln.
Die Anschlussklemmen sind mit Ventilen aus-
gestattet die Gaslecküssigkeit verhindern.
Seihe sehr vorsichtig die Kühlmittelrohre nicht
zu beschädigen.
• Die Anschlussklemme mit den Abdeck-
kappen [18] vor Staub schützen.
Häng das Aussenteil an die neue Stelle
(siehe Seite 12)
Montieren

Attention:
Avant la mise en service de votre climatiseur,
celui-ci doit avoir été en position verticale
pendant au moins 2 heures.
Prescriptions de sécurité
L’installation doit répondre entièrement aux
réglementations, ordonnances et normes en
vigueur localement. L’appareil est conçu ex-
clusivement pour l’utilisation dans la maison.
Contrôlez la tension du réseau. Le climatiseur
est propre uniquement pour une prise de
courant avec mise à la terre ayant une tension
de raccordement de 230 Volts (50Hz).
IMPORTANT: L’Appareil DOIT toujours
être branché sur uns prise de terre. Si
l’approvisionnement en courant n’est pas
connecté sur la terre, vous ne devez abso-
lument pas connecter l’appareil.
La che doit toujours être facilement accessib-
le lorsque l’appareil est branché.
Avant la connexion de l’appareil, contrôlez si:
• la tension de raccordement est bien la
même que celle de la plaque signalétique;
• la prise et l’approvisionnement en courant
sont adaptés à l’appareil;
• la che du câble est adaptée à la prise de
courant.
Faites contrôler l’installation électrique par un
professionnel reconnu si vous n’êtes pas sûr que
tout est en ordre.
Retirez toujours la che de la prise, lorsque
l’appareil n’est pas utilisé.
Par mesures de sécurité, soyez toujours prudent
lorsque des enfants se trouvent à proximité du
climatiseur, comme pour tout appareil électrique.
Faites toujours effectuer les travaux éventuels de
réparation – mis à part l’entretien régulier – par
un monteur de service ou par votre fournisseur,
sinon cela pourrait entraîner l’annulation de la
garantie.
• Le climatiseur est un appareil able. Il a été
fabriqué selon les normes de sécurité.
Néanmoins, vous devez être prudent, comme
avec tout appareil électrique.
• Retirez toujours la che de la prise avant de
procéder au nettoyage de l’appareil ou d’une
partie de l’appareil.
• Ne nettoyez jamais l’humidicateur de l’air
en aspergeant l’appareil avec de l’eau ou en
l’immergeant dans l’eau.
• Ne connectez JAMAIS l’appareil à l’aide d’un
câble de rallonge.

ATTENTION N’utilisez jamais l’appareil avec un cable ou
une che endommagés. Ne serrez jamais le câble et ne le faites
jamais passer sur des arrêtes tranchantes.
Dans le cas où il serait nécessaire de remplacer la che, veillez à ce qu’il soit toujours monté une che avec
prise de terre.
