1. Introduction
PKE-100 Push Start & Remote Start System is adopted with world advanced RFID
system. With the leading miniaturization and super low-power design, this series of
push start system successfully integrates Remote System, Keyless Entry System,
Push Start System and Remote Start System. With assistance of the whole system,
you just need to put the smart key inside your pocket, including entering, starting,
stopping and leaving, all the procedures make you experience hand free life, realize
“My vehicle Knows Me” and “Say Goodbye to Inserting Key”.
PKE-100 Push Start & Remote Start System has a wide coverage for world popular
vehicles (more than 80% by quantities).
PKE-100 has two methods of installation: Can-Bus type or normal 12V electric
type, according to vehicle models. Different vehicle has different packing list
except universal kit/component.
*To install this product, it’s possible to consume an original key and remove the steering lock.

4. Function & Application
*All below functions may have changes according to different vehicles.
4.1. Passive Lock/Unlock
1. Walk close to the vehicle 1.5-2M, the door is unlocked and the vehicle is
disarmed. (Action: Steering lamps flash twice)
2. Walk away from the vehicle 2-3 M for 3-4 seconds, the door is locked and
the vehicle is armed. (Action: steering lamps flash once, horn sounds once.)
3. If the door is not closed properly when walking away from the vehicle
2-3M for 3-4 seconds, the alarms will be triggered. (Action: steering lamps flash 8
times, horn sounds 8 times).
4.2. Remote Lock/Unlock

4.4. Remote Start & Stop Engine

*Note: After engine remote started, if there’s door opening (by smart key) and
stepping on brake action, Remote Stop is not available any more.

4.5. Security System
If smart key is not detected or the vehicle is armed, the illegal unlock or opening
door will trigger the alarms, at the same time the system circuit will be cut off
(Action: horn sounds 60 seconds, steering lamps flash 2 minutes).
4.6. Auto Window-Up (Optional)
It is not necessary to close window before leaving the vehicle. All the windows will
be rolling up automatically after lock action (at OFF status).
*Note: To avoid pinching, please pay attention to your child when parking vehicle.
4.7. Siren (Search)
If you forget vehicle’s position, please press , the sound & horn alarms will
help you locate it in soon time. When smart key or unlock action is detected, the
siren will stop (Action: steering lamps flash 8 times, horn sounds 8 times at the
same time).
4.8. Release Smart Key (Disable PKE)
1. Release: Turn to ON, press both and function button for 3 seconds (Action:
steering lamps flash twice, horn sounds twice), then the smart key is released. In
this mode, you need to manually lock/unlock by press key. If smart key is away off,
the vehicle can not be started, and there’s no opening door security alarm.
2. Recover: Turn to OFF, press both and function button for 3 seconds (Action:
steering lamps flash once, horn sounds once).
4.9. Low Battery Warning
When smart key’s battery is low, the passive unlock action will trigger the horn
sounding 4 times. If you are warned, please change the battery (3V CR2032).
4.10. Saving Power Mode
The system will enter into saving power mode automatically after 5 days. In this
mode, the passive unlock action is not available, the vehicle must be unlocked by
remote unlock.

4.11. Switch Smart Key
The system only communicates with current activated smart key. If you want to use
another, directly press its to switch.
4.12. Key Adaption
The system can only contain two key’s code at max. If you want to adapt a new key,
then at least one of the old keys must be kicked out. Please ask seller for adaption
method.
4.13. Morse Decoding Start
In the case of key broken or battery out, you can use Morse Decoder for emergency
entry. Stick the back side lower half of the smart key to the Morse Decoder, unlock
will be triggered within 15 seconds, vehicle is disarmed (Action: steering lamps
flash), then you can start vehicle within 1 minute.
*If you feel difficult to find the Morse Decoder due to deep color of windscreen,
try to observe its approximate position, the LED will flash every few seconds.
4.14. Anti-hijacking (Auto-Lock)
After door closed and the vehicle is driven away, it will be locked automatically
and unlocked after switched off. Auto-Lock trigger condition:
Can-Bus type
12v electric type
Speed > 15km/h after started
The second step on brake after driven
4.15. Trunk Open
Press trunk button (4-button key) or long press function button (3-button key).
4.16 Mute Mode
1. Mute: Turn to ON, long press for 7 seconds (Action: steering lamps flash
once, horn sounds once).
2. Recover: Turn to OFF, long press for 7 seconds (Action: steering lamps flash
twice, horn sounds twice).

(non-delay)
Negative input, instant signal without delay.
Reminder: Door trigger wire is different with door lamp wire. Door
trigger wire has no time delay, instant output signal after opening the
door and instant stop output signal after closing the door. Door lamp wire
always has time delay, instant output signal after opening the door but
not instant stop output signal after closing the door.
Com+
Extension wire, for communicating with OTU/TCU/GPS/Debugging tool
or other device.
Brake
Positive input, directly connect with car original brake signal wire; for
anti-hijacking purpose. If the car already has anti-hijacking function, do
not connect it, otherwise you will meet series of irregular Lock/Unlock
actions.
Lock
Negative output.
Security
Negative output, link to IMMO transponder bypass, IMMO data bypass,
fuel circuit disconnector, original IMMO wire or other security requested
wire.
Steering lamp 1
Positive output; directly supply power to original steering lamp.
Maximum output current 7.5A.
Security Power
Output
Positive output, mainly cooperates with security wire to supply power to
security requested wire, also can be used for other power requested wire,
maximum output current 200mA.

The pack of PKE-100 supplies OBD port connection or single wire
connection according to specific car.
Can high
Can high wire, normally works together with Can low wire (twisted
wire).
The pack of PKE-100 supplies OBD port connection or single wire

For diesel vehicle with 12v electric installation method, this wire does
not exist or difficult to find, just give up it and change to connect ON
wire. After that, you can not start vehicle from ON status, must turn to
OFF then start again

To car original IG1 (ON1), black.
Normally does not break off when starting.

To car original 12V-1 (B1), green.

To car original IG2 (ON2), blue.
Normally breaks off when starting.

To car metal ground. This wire is extended out of Start Cable, black.
Horn
Negative output, to original horn or external horn. This wire is extended
out of Start Cable, yellow.
Start
To car original Start (ST), white.
The specialized cables are supplied for different cars to reduce technician’s labor. But to note!!!
The specialized cables are not sure to match car original ignition wire due to manufacturing
version, year, place and many other aspects. Please check above definition carefully before
“direct plug-in”. If not match, you need to change the pin head manually or cut off plug head and
connect them one by one.

6. Warm Suggestion
1. Please do not use smart key and original remote key mixed.
2. Please do not put smart key inside vehicle for long time if you are not driving.
3. Please press to unlock the door if passive unlock action fails.
4. Please do not put smart key and smart phone together.
5. This product must be installed by professional vehicle electrical technician.
6. The battery model must be 3V CR2032, please buy from your dealer.
7. Safety Caution
The driver must follow the following instructions to avoid dangers and injuries.
1) To avoid pinching injury or other accident, do not put hand, head or other things
on the window when leaving the vehicle.
2) To protect children from pinching injury or other accident by triggering the
window closer, do not leave them alone inside the vehicle.
Change the battery in time when receiving low power warning. If smart key is put
inside the vehicle or keep battery for long time without changing, the vehicle could
be locked possibly.
8. FAQ
8.1. Smart key (PKE) failure (Attached picture 8.1)
1) Long press button on smart key, LED not working. Battery runs out or damaged;
2) Lock/unlock repeat within 1M. Check 3D antenna wire damaged or not;
3) Key A not working, Key B working, UHF sender of A might be damaged.
8.2. General start failure
1) Check lamp, steering lamp, interior lamp turned off or not? Maybe battery out;
2) If the battery is normal, check if the fuel circuit is cut off or not? Recover it and
check if the vehicle can start or not;
3) Check if the IMMO is released or not; Check if the DIP settings is correct or not;
4) The Start button can be switched at “ACC”, “ON”. Step on the brake, the green
led on button lights, but there is no start output (by listening, normal starting can
trigger the relay voice from push start main unit); Check the communication cables
between Start Controller and PKE unit, are they connected in bad contact?
8.3. Start failure after short time parking
1) On site check lamp, steering lamp, interior lamp are turned off or not? Maybe
battery is dead;
2) Test the static current after locking, normally less than 80mA or not;
3) If the static current is a bit higher, for example 100mA, but lock the vehicle by
original key only causing 40mA, please change the connection point of lock signal
wire (necessarily connect with primary lock).
