Features
2 or 4 button E-Key in Classic styling
4 button E-Key in Metallic styling, rated IP65
128 bit AES encrypted data transmission guarantees security as all transmissions are immune from
code grabbing and code scanning
16 bit rolling-code further ensures only legitimate E-Keys are accepted
Standard data-encryption key or your own unique data-encryption key
Transmission range over 100m without substantial barriers
Blue ‘transmitting’ LED on the E-Key for visual indication of any button press
E-Key battery life with normal use is estimated as more than the battery shelf life of 10 years
Up to 433 E-Keys may be added to each receiver unit
Access Control System integration receiver
o Four Wiegand compliant data output channels
o E-Keys are auto-added once seen by the receiver
o The encryption key of the first E-Key is registered and all subsequent E-Keys must match that
of the first E-Key seen by the receiver
o E-Keys are supplied pre-programmed with your Wiegand/HID/Mifare/other bit format
Standalone relay output receiver
o Four voltage-free SPDT relay output channels provide a universal interface to any equipment
o Easy-add first E-Key with the ADD button on the receiver
o Additional E-Keys added via the ADD button or remotely in unison with an existing E-Key

The E-Keys
Three versions of E-Keys are available, in two different housing designs:
1. Classic EKTX2C 2 button in a slim compact housing
EKTX4C 4 button in a slim compact housing
2. Metallic EKTX4M 4 button, IP65, with metallic trim
The Receivers
EKRX4
The EKRX4 with four relay outputs will work together with any E-Key – our standard models or those running
access control system data formats. Any E-Key you wish to use for relay output control must first be added in
to the receiver data base, either manually or via the ‘Learn’ process.
After the first E-Key is added to the receiver data base its encryption key is saved by the receiver.
Subsequent E-Keys can only be added if they have the same encryption key as the first E-Key.
EKRX4-W
The EKRX4-W with four Wiegand compliant data outputs will work together with E-Key’s programmed with
your requested access system bit format and site-specific settings.
After the first E-Key is added to the receiver data base its encryption key is saved by the receiver.

Third-party devices being remotely controlled with E-Key must rely first and foremost on their
own integrated safety elements for personal life safety and protection of equipment against
damage.
For emergency call and other critical applications please always ensure successful transmission
received from all likely locations where an E-Key may be operated from in relation to the
installed receiver location.
Heavily reinforced walls and other dense barriers which may impede transmission receipt must
always be considered when deciding the location of receivers or their antennae.
