Precautions
1. Please store the gimbal in a dry, well-ventilated environment at room temperature. Prevent the
lens from fogging due to high ambient humidity. If the lens fogs, power on the gimbal for a
period of time to dissipate water vapor. Store the unit at less than 40% relative humidity, and at
20±5° C.
2. Do not place the gimbal under direct sunlight, in poorly-ventilated places, or near sources of
heat such as radiators or other heaters.
3. Donotfrequentlyswitchthegimbalcameraonando.Afteritispoweredo,pleaserestartthe
gimbalcameraafteratleast30seconds.Otherwise,thismayaectthecameracore’sservice
life.
4. Make sure that the gimbal interface and surface are dry before installation.
5. Thegimbal’sprotectivecoverandlens’protectivecoverareonlyusedforprotectingthegimbal
interface and camera lens. Before installation, remove both covers. When the gimbal is not used,
mountbothcoverstoensurethatthegimbal’sinterfaceandcameralensareprotected.
6. Before use, please make sure that the gimbal has been securely mounted onto the aircraft, and
theSDcardport’sprotectivecoverhasbeencovered.
7. BeforeopeningtheSDcardport’sprotectivecover,wipethedevice’ssurfaceandpreventdirtor
foreign matter from obstructing the SD card slot.
8. Before use, do not hot plug the SD card while taking photos or recording videos.
9. Donotdirectlytouchbyhandorscratchthecladdingmaterialonthecameralens’surfacewith
hardobjects,asthiscancauseblurrinessandaectimagequality.
10. When cleaning the camera lens, be sure to use a soft and dry cleaning cloth to wipe the lens
surface. Do not use alkaline detergent for cleaning.
11. Avoidhotpluggingthegimbalwhencharged.Pleaseusetheaircraftpowerbuttontopowero
the gimbal. Do not directly remove the gimbal from the aircraft.
12. During gimbal self-checking, do not move the aircraft.
13. The gimbal is a precision device. Please put it in a special package while transporting.

The PVL-8K gimbal camera features a 1-inch visible light sensor, and supports 16X digital zoom, 8K
photo taking, and 4K 30 fps video recording; the advanced three-axis stabilization technology with
anaccuracyof≤0.01°oersyouaclearandstableviewwithoptimaldetails.

Product Installation/Removal
1. Insert the micro-SD card based on the position shown on the gimbal.
2. Press the payload unlocking button to remove the protective cover.
3. Align the red point on the payload interface and insert the gimbal into the installation position.
4. Rotate it by 90° based on the direction shown on the casing to lock it.
5. Press the payload mount adaptor button, and rotate the gimbal by 90 ° based on the direction
shown on the casing to remove it.
• Ifthegimbalcannotbemounted,pleasecheckwhethertheaircraft’sinterfacehasbeen
accidentally rotated. Before removing the gimbal camera, please press its unlocking button,
and rotate it anticlockwise to remove the gimbal camera.
• Thegimbal’sprotectivecovercanprotectthegimbalcamera’sinterfaceduringtransportation.
Before use, make sure that it has been removed; when the gimbal is not in use, mount it to
protect the gimbal camera.
• During gimbal self-checking, do not move the aircraft.
• Thegimbalcameramodelsshowninthegureareonlyforpurposesofillustration.
• Itisrequiredthattheaircraftbepoweredobeforemountingthegimbal.
• Pleasepowerotheaircraftbeforeinsertingorremovingamicro-SDcard

Gimbal Camera
The PVL-8K gimbal camera can be used with S400 series products. The gimbal is designed with a
brand-new attitude fusion control algorithm, and features high accuracy and three-axis stabilization.
Its angular vibration range is ±0.01° , ensuring stable images and videos even when the aircraft is on
ightwithmanymaneuvers.
Movement range
Themechanicalanglerangeofthegimbal’spanaxis,rollaxis,andpitchaxisare-175 °to+175 ° ,
-40°to+40° ,and-130°to+40°respectively,guaranteeingastableviewduringvariousmaneuvering
ights.Inaddition,theremotecontrollercancontrolthegimbal’spitchwithanadjustmentangleof
-90°to+30°foraquickswitchofanglesofview.

• Donotobstructthegimbal.Beforetakeo,pleaseplacetheaircraftonatandopenground.
Do not collide the gimbal when it is powered on.

Supported functions
The user can remotely operate the gimbal and camera in real time through the photograph button,
video button, left dial wheel, and right dial wheel on the remote controller to execute the various
functions.
TherightdialwheeloftheremotecontrolleradjuststheEVofthecamera(left“-”andright“+”),
and the left dial wheel controls the pitch angle of the gimbal.

• Please use a browser to scan and download.
App connection
Use a USB cable to connect the mobile device to the remote controller. Power on the remote
controller and the aircraft to launch the App.

Remote controller settings
Click the setting icon in the top right corner of the app. On the Control Settings interface, the user
can set it to Chinese mode, American mode, and Japanese mode; or, the user can set the C1 and C2
button based on usage habits and scenarios.
Camera settings
Click the etting icon in the top right corner. On the Camera Settings interface, the user can set the
videosize,photoresolution,anti-icker,AELOCK,meteringmode,andvideolivestreammode.
• TheAppinterfacelanguagemustbethesameasthemobiledevice’ssystemlanguage.To
changetheinterfacelanguage,pleasechangethemobiledevice’ssystemlanguagerst.
• The App interface and function will be updated continuously. Please refer to the latest version.
• Formoreoperationdetails,refertotheaircraft’sUserManual.

Maintenance
• Check whether the structure limit of each gimbal axis is functioning. If there are any issues,
please contact the after-sales service team for repair.
• When the gimbal does not work or there is an image transmission function error, please check
whether the gimbal and aircraft connectors have been properly connected, and whether the
exible,atcablehasbecomelooseordisconnected.
• Check whether the gimbal and the aircraft connectors are bent, cracked, broken, or are blocked
by foreign matter, and whether the contact surfaces are clean.
• Check the camera lens for dirt. If there is any dirt, please use a special cleaning kit and clean it.
Do not use any solvents and corrosive detergents.
• During gimbal use, if the view vibrates sharply, please contact the after-sales service team for
handling.
• Whenthegimbalisnotinuse,mountthegimbal’sprotectivecovertoprotectthegimbal
camera.
