Unpacking Your Freezer
1.Removeall packagingmaterial;thisincludesthefoambaseandalladhesive
tape holding the freezer accessoriesinside and outside.
2.Inspectandremoveanyremainsofpacking,tape orprintedmaterialsbefore
powering on the freezer.
Adjusting Your Freezer
1.Yourfreezer isdesignedforfreestanding installation only.It shouldnotbe
recessed or built-in.
2.Placethe freezer on afloor strong enough tosupport it fullyloaded.
3.When movingthefreezer,nevertiltitmorethan a45-degreeangle.Thiscould
damage the compressor and the sealed system.
4.Ifthe freezer istilted letitstandinan uprightposition for atleast24 hoursprior
toplugging.Thisistoallowthe refrigerant tosettle.
·ProperAirCirculation
l Toassureyourfreezer worksatthemaximumefficiencyitwasdesignedfor,
you shouldinstall it inalocation where there isproper aircirculation,
l Plumbing and electricalconnections.

Electrical Requirement
l MakesurethereisasuitablepowerOutlet(220V)withpropergrounding topowerthe
freezer.
l Avoidtheuseofthree plugadaptersorcutting offthe thirdgrounding inorderto
accommodateatwo-plug outlet, thisisadangerouspracticesinceitprovidesno effective
grounding forthe freezerand mayresult inshock hazard.
Install Limitations
l Donotinstallyourfreezerinanylocation notproperlyinsulated orheated e.g.garageetc,
yourfreezerwasnot designed tooperateintemperaturesettingsbelow32·Fahrenheit.
l Selectasuitablelocation forthefreezeron ahardeven surfacesawayfromdirectsunlight
orheatsourcee.g.radiators,baseboardheaters,cookingappliancesetc,Anyfloor
unevenness shouldbe corrected.
Installing Casters(delete?)
Your freezer can be equipped withcastersfor easy moving.Werecommend
installing castersbefore using the freezer.Install following theseeasysteps:
1.Removethe food basket from the freezer.
2.Slowlytilt the freezer on its side.
3.Taponecasterintothebottomofthe freezer.Fastenthecasterintoplace
withscrews provided.
4.Install the other three casters in the samemanner.
5.Return the freezer toits upright position and replacethe food basket.
Note:Itisimportanttowaitfor24hoursafterinstallationbeforepluggingin
the unit toallowthe refrigerant tostabilize.

YourFreezerhas1removablebasket. It allowsyou tostorefoodmore accessibly
or you can removeit if not needed.
Defrosting and Draining TheFreezer
·Defrostwheneverthe frostbecomes1/4”thick.Neveruseasharp or
metallicinstrumenttoremovethefrostasitmaydamagethecooling
coils.(Apunctured coil will void the warranty)
·Turnthetemperature controltoOFF position andunplugtheunit. For
draining,placeatraybeneaththeouterdrainplug.Pull outthedraindial
and rotateitsothatthearrowpointsdownward.Thiswill letthewater flow
out intothe tray.
·Removethe drainplugfromtheinsideofthe freezer.Defrostingusually
takes afewhours. Todefrost fasterkeepthe freezer dooropen. Whendone,
pushthedraindialinandturnthe arrowtotheupposition.Re-plugthe
drainpluginsidethefreezer compartment. Note:monitor the container
under the drain toavoid overflow.
·Wipetheinteriorofthefreezer and replacetheelectricalplug in the
electrical outlet.
·Rest the temperature control tothe desired setting.

12.1.1Servicing freezer
(1)Check thewholecircuitoffreezer, iftherearewireconnections
cameoff, anywires broken, or ashortcircuit.
(2) Check theinsulation ofthewholefreezer.Atnormal situation,
theresistance isgreaterthan2mebohms;ifitisless than2
mebohms, please make afurthercheck ofthefreezerresistance.
Set thevoltmetertoR1Ohm position, putthetwovoltmeterleads
pencilsintoLand Nterminalsrespectively, watchtheindication
ofodometer. Thenormal valueisseveral Ohm totensofohm. If
theresistance iszero, meansthat thereisashortinthefreezer
circuitor thereisashortcausedbyabadcompressor or fan
motor. Thereason shouldbefound outand repaired. Ifthe
resistance istoo bigor infinite, thismeansthat thereisbroken
circuit, please check and solve it.
Afterthe abovechecks, the freezerwill not haveany
electrical problemand you can switchpoweron forfurther
completelycheck.

12.1.2Reasonsofelectricityleakageoffreezer
(1) Leakageofcompressor:mainlybecause ofseriousvibration,
themotor coilofcompressorcontactswiththeshell,thecoatof
enameledwirewillcomeoff somewhereandconnect withshell.
Otherreasonsmaybeovervoltage,insufficientofvoltage,
adverse circumstances (temperaturetoo high,ventilation and
heat radiationtobad)forfreezer,thermalprotectionunitoutof
order,etc.Theywillmake themotor coil overtemperature,
insulation materialloose,insulation isdamagedthenelectricity
will occur.
(2) Leakageofmotorconnectionterminals:theconnection
terminalsoffullyenclosedcompressoraremadefromhigh
temperaturesodaglass sinteredceramics,around theterminals
arefilledwithahighpolymer.Theterminalsand insulation
materialmusthave thesamelinearexpansioncoefficient,thefor
requirementbetweenterminalsand theshell ismorethan0.5
millionohm. Thereason ofterminalleakageisthat sodaglassis
brokenorthereareconductive materialssuchas water,dirt,etc.,
adheredtoterminals.

theinnerofcompressor, itneedstobechanged.
(3) Leakageoftemperaturecontroller:becauseoftoolonga
periodofservice ortoohigh temperature,ortoomuchdirt,ortoo
high humidity,theremaybeelectricityleakage.Ifithas been
definedthat thereisleakageoftemperaturecontroller,please
change.
(4) Leakageofstartingrelay:duringmountingandrepairing,
screwofrelayleadiseasytocontact theshell andleakagewill
thenoccur.Ifyou suspect therelayisbad,checkit.Ifthereis
leakage,please make theconnectionsagainand leave apiece of
insulation paperunderthescrew.
(5) Leakageoffan:because oftoo highhumidityoffreezer
environmentor abadfancontrollingunit,thefanisburnedafter
longtimeoperationand thuscauses leakage.Usingvoltammeter
tomeasuretheinsulation resistance betweeneachrespective
connection terminalandthefreezerbody,iftheresistance istoo
little, meansthereisleakagecausedbyhumidity;iftheresistance
Iszero,meansthefancoil isburnedorshort-circuited.Please
changethefan.

12.1.3Troubleshooting observation
(1) Atnormaloperationconditions,thetemperaturearoundthe
surface offreezerevaporator isnearlythesame;thethickness of
frost layerissimilar.Ifthereisno frost atthesurfaceof
evaporator (bedtypefreezerat allofitsinnerwall),oronlyasmall
partat theupper,conclusioncanbemadethattheoperationof
refrigerationsystem isnotnormal, therefrigerantisinsufficientor
thereisleakage.
(2) Check thesystemtubing and make surethereisnoleakage,
especiallyat thejointconnections.Refrigeranthas good
permeability,and italsocontainsalittlerefrigerantoil.Ifthereis
leak, therewill betraces ofoil at theleak points.
12.1.4Troubleshooting bysounds
(1) Whenthefreezerisworkingnormal, high-pressureliquid
refrigerantflowsintothelow-pressureevaporatorvia
acapillarytube, agas flowing sound and waterflowing sound can
beheard.Openthefreezerdoorand access totheevaporator,you
canhearthesound.Ifthereisno soundorthereissoundalittle
nowand then,theremustbeleakageofsystemrefrigerantor
insufficientcharge.
