These operang instrucons belong exclusively to this product.
It contains important informaon on commissioning and
handling. Pay aenon to this, even if you pass this product on
to third pares. You should therefore archive these operang
instrucons for future reference.
1. introducon
Dear customer, thank you for purchasing this product. You have
acquired a product that has been built according to the state
of the art.
In order to maintain this status and to ensure safe operaon,
you as the user must observe these operang instrucons!
2. safety instrucons
In the event of damage caused by non-observance of these
operang instrucons, the guarantee expires!
For further damages we do not accept liability!
We assume no liability for property damage or personal injury
caused by improper handling or failure to observe the safety
instrucons. In such cases, any guarantee claim will expire.
For safety reasons, unauthorized modicaons and / or chan-
ges to the product are not permied. Pay aenon to a proper
commissioning. Please refer to these operang instrucons.
3. Intended Use
The brew group thermometer shows the brewing temperature
shortly before the coee puck. The brew group thermometer is
only for use in E61 brew groups with M6 inspecon screw.
The thermometer must not be submerged in water.
4. Installaon
CAUTION:
The p of the screw connecon is very sensive!
1. Make sure that the coee / espresso machine has cooled
down.
Cauon, risk of burns!
2. With the machine turned o, ush your group head to
relieve the pressure.
3. Loosen the M6 screw with the tool provi-
ded for this purpose (not included), plea-
se make sure that you also remove the seal.
4. Carefully remove the thermometer from the packaging.
5. Make sure that the sealing ring is on the screw connec-
on.
6. Carefully screw the thermometer into the M6 thread of
the machine. Take a 10 mm open-ended wrench (not in-
cluded) and ghten the screw connecon. (max. 0,9 Nm)
7. Use the supplied Allen key to loosen the small screw
(approx. 1/2 turn) unl you can easily turn the thermo-
meter.

6. calibraon
already calibrated at the factory
1. The thermometer is only suitable for calibraon in a slush
ice soluon (60% crushed ice and 40% tap water). Do not
try to calibrate in any other way.
2. Press the CAL buon for 2 seconds.
3. The display remains blank for 2 seconds.
4. 0.00 ° C or 32.0 ° F are displayed.
5. The thermometer is now calibrated.
Note: To avoid accidental recalibraon, this funcon is only
enabled at a water temperature of 30 to 34 ° F. ERR appears for
2 seconds if the water is not within this range.

5. Change the baery
Replace the baery when the LCD display is weak becomes.
1. Remove the baery cover at the boom with a coin.

2. Insert a LR44 baery with the + side up.
3. Put the baery compartment cover back on.
Baery take-back
• Baeries must not be disposed of with household waste.
• The consumer is legally obliged to return baeries
aer use, e.g. at public collecon points or where such
baeries are sold.
• Baeries containing pollutants are marked with the sym-
bol „crossed out garbage can“ and one of the chemical
symbols.
Baery notes
• Baeries do not belong in the hands of children. Never
leave baeries lying around; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or pets
• Baeries must never be short-circuited, disassembled or
thrown into re. There is a risk of explosion!
• Leaking or damaged baeries can cause acid burns on
contact with the skin, so use suitable protecve gloves
in this case.
• When changing the baeries, only idencal baeries may
be used.
• Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserng the
baery.
• If the device is not going to be used for a long me (e.g.
storage), remove the inserted baery to avoid damage
from leaking baeries.
disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable and do not belong in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the
product in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.
Remove any inserted baeries and dispose of them separately
from the product.
