1. Electrical outlet
The room sensor serves to detect the temperature in closed, dry rooms, in apartments, supermarkets,
warehouses, oce and business premises.

Connection via Interface
RS485 RIO-29
Set the desired address.
The bus address in the range of 0 to 127 (binary format) can be adjusted with the left DIP switch (pos.
1 to 7). All remaining DIP switches (pos. 8 as well as pos. 1 to 8 from the right DIP switch) are set to
OFF. If multiple temperature sensors are used addresses may not be assigned twice.
The room temperature sensor THERMASGARD
4277 is connected to the RS485 interfaces of the
RIO-29 modules. You can attach a maximum of 128
controllers on the same interface.

2. Software activation at myGEKKO
Log in as congurator.
Change to system menu -> Heating / Cooling -> Select the corresponding room1.
and go to the IO conguration.
Under ‘room controller’ select the room temperature sensor‘Thermasgard 4277’2.
Tap ‘Sensors’ to specify the interface and address.3.
Under ‘Control panel’ save the interface (RIO-29 module) to which the room controller4.
is connected.
Save the bus address of the controller under‘Address’.5.
