GTP_exCAM-1 is a dedicated external camera for Geneinno Intelligent
Underwater Robot, Connect through customized watertight connector with
Geneinno Intelligent Underwater Robot's unique expansion interface. External
camera is to observe and shoot the scene beneath the T1 Pro. The external
camera uses the same main camera module of the T1 Pro, meantime,
equipped 3000l LED lights, for wider view and scenes below the robot.

Support bracket installation
① Use a cross screwdriver to unscrew the four fixing screws of the bracket
and remove the original bracket of the underwater robot.
② Replace the original bracket for the support bracket, and install 4 fixing
screws with a cross screwdriver.
Note: Need to change to support bracket for accessory application.

Accessory Installation
① Unscrew the sealing metal cover of the 8-pin waterproof connector of the
robot counterclockwise. Match the slot to the slide rail in the bottom of the
host, slide the external camara according to direction indicated by the
arrow .
② Align the screw with the hole and install the screws.
③ Insert the connector into the extension port on the robot host. Tighten it
clockwise.
Note: The connector has an anti-reversal insertion design, please pay
attention when inserting, please do not rotate when inserting, to avoid
damage to the pin and its internal structure.

Accessory Buoyancy Block Installation
① Align the mounting hole with the hole on bracket, with the arrow of
buoyancy block upward.
② Install the wing screw through the hole, insert from the outside to the
inside, and tighten the nut by hand.
Note: Four buoyancy blocks needed for the external camera. Please
install symmetrically. Excessive or uneven installation may affect the
underwater operation of the underwater robot.

1. APP Download
Android IOS
lScan QR code to download “Geneinno”APP.
lSearch "Geneinno" in IOS APP Store or Google Play to download our APP or
visit "www.geneinno.com" to download APP from "Support/APP Download"
for Android phones.
lOpen APP, Please register as a Geneinno member and log in.
2. Start
lConnect the two ends of buoyancy cable separately to T1 PRO and the
wireless relay, and then tighten the fastening nut.
Note: Check whether the O-ring on the waterproof connectors
missing or damaged. If missing or damaged, please replace it in
time.
3.Device Connect:
lOpen APP choose T1 Pro, click “Device not connected” icon, jump to the
Wi-Fi setting page, find and connect the Wi-Fi named GENEINNO-5G-
XXXX/GENEINNO-XXXX, default code is: 88886666
lAfter Wi-Fi connected, back to APP main interface, click “Device connected”
icon to enter the control interface.

III. Device Operation
lExternal camera switch
Click the switch icon to enable the external camera. The image of external
camera is displayed in a small window in the upper right corner by default.
lScreen switch
Click the "Screen Switch" icon to switch the screens between external camera
and the main camera.
lExternal camera LED light
Slide left to adjust the "External Camera LED Brightness Adjustment" icon to
adjust the LED brightness, supporting three levels of adjustment.
lExternal camera settings
Include all the settings of external camera. When switch to the main screen and enable "
Simultaneous Video " in the main camera Settings, the main camera and external
camera share the shutter to take pictures and record videos at the same time.
lShoot/record:
When switched to external camera, the shutter is enabled to take
photos/videos from the external camera.
lExternal camera album:
Album view path: Settings - Album – External Camera Album
Note: The LED brightness of the external camera needs to be in water to turn
on the highest brightness. For detailed operation instructions of the APP,
please refer to T1/T1 Pro User Manual.

lWhite Balance:
Enable in Auto or Manual mode. In manual mode, could
adjust image RGB color style (default value 48/17/33)
lSharpness:
Enable in Auto or Manual mode. In manual mode, could
adjust image sharpness (default value 100).
lSaturation:
Enable image saturation manual set, default value 50.
lContrast:
Enable image contrast manual set, default value 50.
lBrightness:
Enable image brightness manual set, default value 50.
lLive resolution:
Enable live stream resolution switch, default 1080P.
lImage flip:
Enable manual image flip in vertical and in horizontal.
lSimultaneous Video:
Enable the same shutter for both the main camera and the
external camera.
lRestore Default Settings:
Restore image default settings.
lSD card format:
Erase all files in SD card, including photos and videos.
Image settings
lBurst:
Enable burst mode, capture multiple photos, and
could set the burst number and time interval.
lExposure Time:
Enable in Auto or Manual mode. In manual
mode, could adjust exposure time (default value
20ms).
lISO:
Enable in Auto or Manual mode. In manual
mode, could adjust image ISO value.

lRecord resolution:
Set in 4K or 1080P.
lVideo coding:
Support video coding in H265/H264, video
saved as MP4 format by default.
lFile time length:
Range from 0-30min, unsegmented
division when time length is 0
lVideo bit rate:
Range from 5MB to 20 MB. Video bit rate
could impact video file size and record
quality.
lOSD:
Set watermarks in photos and videos.
Watermarks are enabled by default. Could
disable them by clicking the icon to dark. It
is on when the icon is highlighted.

lAlbum: Open the ROV and external camera

lAuto-balance: Enable/disable auto balance
lCompass calibration: start compass

lEnvironment setting: the option for fresh/salt
water, select salt water or fresh water, which
has effect on depth accuracy only

Enter album, then press “External camera album“ icon in right upper corner
to enter the external camera album, to check and save files, could delete or
download multiple photos and videos by long press.
External camera album
Windows:
First, connects your PC to Geneinno T1 Pro WIFI, then open a browser on PC,
enter http://192.168.8.7/media to enter the device file system. Photos are in the
photo storage folder, Videos are in the video storage folder. Right click on the
file and click ‘Save as’to download the selected files.
Mac:
The Mac connects to Geneinno T1 Pro WIFI, and then open the Finder
application on the Mac. After opening the application, press the command+K key
on the keyboard and enter SMB:// 192.168.8.7 in the server address, then enter
the storage folders to download files.

Precautions
lPlease check all watertight plugs for any liquid residues such as water
before starting to use. Please wipe clean before connecting.
lDo not place heavy objects on top of this product, and do not use sharp
objects to puncture/beat/impact/squeeze, etc.
lDo not deliberately disassemble, damage or short-circuit this product, do
not put it in a fire, ultra-high temperature/ultra-low temperature
environment. And do not put it in dangerous substances such as flammable
and explosive objects and strong corrosive solvents.
lDo not look directly at the LED lights or directly touch the LED light
lThe external camera cable needs to be inspected regularly during the
equipment life cycle. Once the cable outlet surface is damaged or the cable
is hardened, it needs to be repaired or replaced in time.
lThe external camera cable should not be pulled during storage. The cable
should be stored in a stretched state and should not be excessively bent.
Maintenance instructions
lAfter finishing use, please rinse with fresh water and wipe dry in time to
reduce seawater corrosion and store in a dry and ventilated place.
lPlease use smooth tools such as cotton cloth to clean the surface of this
product.
