Operation
The SRX has three user controls (Figure 2, right).
Turning the VOLUME control [2] clockwise (toward MAX) will increase the output volume. Turning
the VOLUME control [2] counter-clockwise (toward MIN) will decrease the output volume.
Pressing the ON/OFF button [3] once will turn the SRX power ON. (The POWER LED [1] will light.)
Press the ON/OFF button [3] once again to turn power OFF.
Rotating the tuning dial [4] on the SRX’s top will adjust the unit to the proper channel as set in the FM
transmitter. The SRX tuning range starts at channel 1 (72MHz) and rotates to channel 37 (75.95MHz).
TUNING NOTE:
Gentner Communications strongly recommends tuning the SRX using the TX-37A’s built-in test tone.

Battery Recharging
To recharge ni-cad rechargable batteries in your
SRX, properly load six C-size batteries into the back
battery compartment (Figure 3, left).
Verify that the power supply is plugged into the SRX
barrel connector and into a wall outlet. Verify that
the SRX is OFF.
Insert the red jack into the right-hand plug. Fully
drained batteries will fully recharge in 36 hours.
