Important Safety Information
Read all of the instructions before using this appliance and
keep safe for future reference.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not use
outdoors or on wet surfaces.
2. Do not handle the plug or appliance with wet hands.
3. Do not immerse the main body in water.
4. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
5. Children must not play with the appliance.
6. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
7. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years.
8. This product is not a toy.
9. Do not use the appliance if any parts appear to be
faulty, missing or damaged.
10. Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected
to the mains supply.
11. Always unplug from the mains supply before carrying
out any cleaning, performing user maintenance.
12. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or
damaged in any way.
13. Check to ensure that the electricity supply matches that
shown on the rating plate.
14. Only use the attachments/accessories supplied with the
product or recommended by Giani.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified service agent in order to avoid a hazard.

16. The pan and basket are not suitable for cleaning in a
dishwasher.
17. Keep the appliance and its power supply cord away
from heat or sharp edges that could cause damage.
18. Keep the power supply cord away from any parts of the
appliance that may become hot during use.
19. Always use the appliance on a stable, heat resistant
surface.
20. Do not place the appliance against a wall or directly
next to another appliance. Leave at least 20cm of free
space around the appliance when in use.
21. Do not cover the air inlet or the air outlet whilst the
appliance is operating.
22. During use, hot steam is released through the air outlet
openings. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance
from the steam outlet openings.
23. Take extra care when removing the pan after cooking
is complete. Hot air and steam will be released. Keep
your face and hands at a safe distance.
24. The surface of the appliance may get hot during opera
tion.
25. Do not move the appliance when it is in use.
26. The glass door cannot support goods when fully
opened. Do not rest trays/dishes on the glass door
as this will damage the appliance.
27. Do not disconnect the appliance from the mains power
supply by pulling the cord, switch it off and remove the
plug by hand.
28. Do not store in direct sunlight or high humiduty
conditions.
29. Always unplug the appliance after use and before any
cleaning or user maintenance.
30. Always ensure the appliance has cooled fully after use
before performing any cleaning or user maintenance or
storing away.

31. Do not clean the oven with metal scouring pads. Meta
chippings would touch electrical parts and may cause
electric shock. Use a sponge/scourer if required for
stubborn marks.
32. This appliance has a tempered safety glass door. The
glass is stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant
to breakage. Avoid scratching the door surface. If the
door becomes damaged, the appliance MUST be taken
to a qualified electrician for repair. Do not use the
appliance with a damaged glass door.
33. Use of an extension cord with the appliance is not
recommended.
34. This appliance should not be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote control system.
35. Keep the appliance away from flammable materials.

Technical Information
Before First Use
1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers and labels.
2. Place your appliance on a stable, horizontal and even surface.
3. DO NOT PLACE ON A NON HEAT RESISTANT SURFACE.
4. MAKE SURE THERE IS AT LEAST 20CM OF FREE SPACE ALL AROUND THE
APPLIANCE AT ALL TIMES.
5. Remove all trays/racks/accessories and wash with warm soapy water. Do not use
any abrasive cleaning materials as this will damage them.
6. Dry thoroughly.
7. We recommend that you run the oven at its highest temperature (230°C) for
approximately 15 minutes to eliminate any packaging oil that may remain after
shipping.
8. Once the appliance has cooled, after approximately 30 minutes, wipe the inside
and outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth.
How To Use Your Oven
Note: The Oven and the Hotplates can work at the same time or you can work
each individually.
1. Check the Oven and Hotplates are in the off position.
2. Connect the mains plug to the wall socket and switch on.

Using the Oven
1. Take out the food tray, wire rack and rotisserie fork.
2. Select the required cooking function
3. Turn the oven temperature dial to the required temperature, the oven indicator
light will illuminate.
4. Place your food on the food tray, wire rack or rotisserie fork, depending on what
you are cooking and using oven gloves open the oven door and place inside the
oven.
5. When your food is cooked, using oven gloves open the door keeping your face at
a safe distance as hot air will escape from the oven and take out the tray, wire
rack or rotisserie fork.
6. Turn the function dial to the OFF position and turn the temperature dial to the
LOW position.
7. Switch off the mains socket and unplug the appliance.
Note: The weight of food that can be put on the food tray/wire rack MUST NOT
exceed 3kg. Ensure the food is evenly spread over the food tray/wire rack to
achieve even cooking.
Using the Hotplates
Note: For the optimum cooking effect, only use pans with a base diameter of
18cm (for the large Hotplate) or 14.5cm (for the small Hotplate) and with a flat
base and lid.
CAUTION: THE HOTPLATES ARE ONLY SUITABLE FOR PANS MADE FROM
ENAMEL, CAST IRON OR STAINLESS STEEL.
ALUMINIUM OR COPPER PANS CANNOT BE USED AS THEY WILL MELT DUE
TO THE HIGH TEMPERATURE.
1. Check the Oven and Hotplates are in the off position.
2. Connect the mains plug to the wall socket and switch on.
3. Select the Hotplate you wish to use for the large Hotplate or
the small Hotplate, alternatively you can select both if required.
4. Turn the temperature dial for the required hotplate past the ‘ON’ marker (as
shown on the control panel detail) and to the required setting. The hotplate light
indicator will illuminate.
5. When cooking is complete, turn the temperature dial to ‘MIN’.
6. Switch off the mains socket and unplug the appliance.

Cleaning
Note: Your oven has a quick clean coating.
1. Make sure the appliance is switched off at the mains socket and unplugged.
2. If the appliance has been used, allow approximately 30 minutes to cool before
cleaning.
3. Wipe the internal walls of the appliance with a soft damp cloth/sponge.
4. Do not use steel wool scouring pads, abrasive detergents or scrape the interior
walls with metal utensils as this will damage the quick clean interior.
5. Wash all the accessories in hot soapy water only, do not put in a dishwasher and
dry thoroughly.
6. Wipe the glass door with a soft damp cloth/sponge and dry with a paper towel.
