your Giant Power Portable Fridge/Freezer. Misuse may result
in damage to the Portable Fridge/Freezer and/or cause harm
or serious injury. This User Manual explains how to setup
and safely operate your Portable Fridge/Freezer. If you are in
any doubt with how to operate your Portable Fridge/Freezer
contact the retailer where you purchased.
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Payattentiontothevoltagedescriptionontheratinglabel,
and ensure that the power cord is connected to right power
outlet.Over-voltagecandamagetheelectronicsofthe
device.
• Theapplianceisonlytobeusedwiththepowersupply
unitprovidedwiththeappliance.

PREPARING BEFORE USE
CLEANING
Use a damp cloth to clean the fridge/freezer inside and
outsidebeforeinitialuse.Forcleaningspecicspleaserefer
tothe‘CleaningandMaintenance’sectiononpage10.
LID
Forconveniencethelidscanbeopenedfromtwosides
orcompletelyremovedbypressingthetwolidlatches
simultaneously.
HANDLES
The handles do not come installed. Install the handles by
following the below instructions.
1. Fixalefthandlebracketontothefridgewithscrews.
2. Thenpushthehandleintothelefthandlebracket.
3.Pushthehandleintoarighthandlebracketandscrewthe
bracketintoplace.
Repeat to install the other handle.

ENERGY-SAVING TIPS
• Selectawell-ventilatedplaceandkeepthefreezeraway
from heat or direct sunlight.
• Coolhotfoodbeforeputtingintothefreezer.
• Don’tfrequentlyopenthelidorkeepitopenforalongtime.
• Defrostintimewhenthereisinnerfrost.
• Setthetemperatureproperlyandreduceunnecessary
low temperature setting.

• SlideemergencyswitchtoNORMAL USE position.
• InsertDCplugintoacarcigarettelightersocketorother
DC12V/24Vsocket.
• ForusewithalternatingcurrentAC100-240V,insertthe
ACplugintoanACsocket.
NOTE:Duringnormalusing,emergencymodeisnot
applicable. Emergency mode is only used while the operating
panel is malfunctioning.

TURNING ON THE FREEZER
• Afterswitchingthepoweron,thepowerindicator icon
willlightupontheLCDdisplay.Thefridge/freezerisnowin
standby.
• Pressthe buttonthreesecondscontinually,theLCD
displaywilllightup,thepowerindicator icon will
extinguish. The digital display shows the current interior
temperature,supplyvoltageandothersettingparameters,
the iconindicatesthefridge/freezerhasstartworking.
• The showstheworkingstatusofthecompressor, light
upshowsthecompressorisworking, extinguish shows
thecompressorhasstoppedworking.
CAUTION: Placethefreezerinawellventilateddrylocation,
andcheckthattheheatdissipationoutletisnotblocked.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
FormodelswiththeDualZonefeaturetheLCDdisplayhas
2temperatureread-outs,oneforeachbincompartment.
• Tosetthetemperatureofeachindividualbincompartment
press the button once to set left bin temperature and
twice to set right bin.
• Pressboththe buttons to set the temperature from
-18°Cto10°C,or0°Fto50°F.Thesettingtemperature
appears on the display for a few seconds. The display
ashesseveraltimesandthentheinteriortemperatureis
displayed again.
• Pressthe buttontoconrmthesettingtemperature.
Tochangebetweencentigrade(°C)degreeandFahrenheit
degree(°F)displaymodespressthe button three times.
NOTE: Iftheambienttemperatureisabove+32°C(+90°F),
the minimum temperature cannot be attained.

Theset-upparametersremaininmemorywhenthefridge/
freezer is turned on again.
Whenthefridge/freezer’sinteriortemperaturereachesthe
settingtemperatures,thecompressorwillstopoperating.The
power indicator light will turn an orange color. When the
fridge/freezer is powered on the colour of the power indicator
lightshowsthecompressorstatus,greenindicatesworking,
orange indicates stopping.
BATTERY PROTECTOR SETTING
Thedeviceisequippedwithamulti-levelbatteryprotectorthat
protectsyourvehiclebatteryagainstexcessivedischarging
whenthedeviceisconnectedtotheon-board12/24Vsupply.
Ifthefridge/freezerisoperatedwhenthevehicleignitionis
switchedo,thefridge/freezerswitchesoautomatically
assoonasthesupplyvoltagefallsbelowasetlevel.The
fridge/freezerwillswitchbackononcethebatteryhasbeen
rechargedtotherestartvoltagelevel.
NOTICE! Danger of damage!
Whenswitchedobythebatterymonitor,thebatterywillno
longerbefullycharged.Avoidstartingrepeatedlyoroperating
current consumers without longer charging phases. Ensure
that the battery is recharged.
• Pressthe buttonfor4times,thencomeintobattery
protection setting mode; press the buttons to change
betweenthelevelsettings;Digitaldisplaywillbeasfollows:
VL(LOW),VM(MED),VH(HIGH).
The selected mode then appears on the display for a few
seconds.
Thedisplayashesseveraltimesbeforeitreturnstothe
current temperature.
TURNING OFF THE FREEZER
Inworkingstatus,pressandholdthe button for three
secondstotumothefreezer.Pulloutthepowerplug.

EMERGENCY MODE
Iftheoperatingpanelmalfunctions,Emergencymode
(EMERGENCYOVERRIDE)isapplicable.
SlidetheEmergencyswitchtotheEMERGENCYOVERRIDE
positiontostartthisfunction.Inthismode,thetemperature
settingfunctionisnotavailable,refrigeratingspeedisdown,
andthismodeisonlyforprovisionaluse.
Duringnormaluse,emergencymodeisnotapplicable.
Emergency mode is only used while the operating panel is
malfunctioning.
CAUTION: This mode is not suitable for long time food
storage,iftheswitchisintheEMERGENCYOVERRIDE
position,thefreezerwithfullcoolingcapacitysupercooled
temperature may freeze the food.
USB PORT FOR POWER SUPPLY
USBportallowsyoutochargesmalldeviceslikemobile
phones and MP3 players.
Touseyourfridge/freezerwithUSBdevices,simplyconnecta
USBcable(notincluded)toyourdevice.
NOTE:EnsurethatanysmalldeviceconnectedtotheUSB
portiscompatiblewith5V/500mAoperation.
MANIPULATING OF BATTERY PROTECTOR
(LOW VOLTAGE PROTECTION)
Whilethebattery’svoltagedropstotheset-updata,
compressorwillstopworking,soastoprotectthebattery
againstoverdischarge;oncethebattery’svoltagereachesthe
restartdataaftercharging,compressorwillstartimmediately.
Whilethebattery’svoltageistoolow,thebatteryprotectorwill
takeeectAredmalfunctionindicatorlightwillblink.Nowyou
need to charge the battery.
Whilethebatteryprotectorcutothebatteryconnection,you
shouldwarrantthebatterytobechargedsuciently,soasto
avoidfrequentrestartingofcompressor.

Whenthefridge/freezerissuppliedbytheautostarterbattery,
VHmodesettingisproposed,soastowarrantthatvehicle’s
batterypowerisinhighlevel.
Ifyouuseadditionalbatteryforpowersupply,VLmode setting
is applicable.
Thefridge/freezerisdesignedtohavethefunctionto
reworkwhenconnecttopowerafterpowero.Ifthefridge/
freezerisshutdownunderanabnormalsituation,itwillwork
automatically when connected to power again.
DEFROSTING
Humiditycanformfrostintheinteriorofthecoolingdeviceor
ontheevaporator.Thisreducesthecoolingcapacity.Defrost
thedeviceingoodtimetoavoidthis.
Defrostingstepsareasbelow:
• Takethestoredmaterialfromthefridge/freezer.
• Ifitisnecessary,thestoredmaterialcouldbestoredin
another fridge/freezer.
• Cutothepower,openthefridge/freezer’slid,andkeepit
open until the ice and frost melt away.
• Useacleanclothtowipeothedefrostedwater.
CAUTION:Neverusehardorpointedtoolstoremoveiceorto
loosenobjectswhichhavefrozeninplace.

REPLACING FUSE AND THE INTERIOR LIGHT
Follow the below steps for replacing the
plug fuse (12/24V):
• UnplugtheDCpowerplug.
• Turnthecapanticlockwisetoremove.
• Replacethedefectivefusewithanewone
thathasthesamerating32V10-15A.
• Tightenthecap.
WARNING: The rated current for the fuse
shouldbewithin10-15A,nolessthan10A
andMaxis15A.Afusewithratedcurrent
lessthan10Awillbeeasilyburntduringcompressorstarting
procedure;afusewithratedcurrentmorethan15Awillburn
the battery fuse in the car when the fridge/freezer uses the car
battery.
Follow the below steps for replacing the Display Panel:
• Unplugthepowerplugandopenthefridge/freezer’slid.
• Pryoutthetransparentcoverwithascrewdriver.
• UnscrewtheDisplayPanelmountingboard.
• PullouttheconnectorwireterminalfromtheDisplayPanel.
• ReplacethedefectiveDisplayPanelwithanewone.
• FitnewDisplayPanelusingreverseofremovalinstructions.
• Pressthetransparentcoverbackintothehousing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Alwaysdisconnectthedevicefromthemainsbeforeyouclean
andserviceit.
• Occasionallycleanthedeviceinteriorandexteriorwitha
dampcloth.Donotuseabrasivecleaningagentsorhard
objects during cleaning as these can damage the fridge/
freezer.
• Cleantheheatdissipationventsfrequentlytoensuregood
heat dissipation.
• Donotleavethefridge/freezerowithfoodinsideorthelid
closed.
