Please be sure to read the following guidelines before using
your Giant Power Portable Fridge/Freezer. Misuse may result
in damage to the Portable Fridge/Freezer and/or cause harm
or serious injury. This User Manual explains how to setup
and safely operate your Portable Fridge/Freezer. If you are in
any doubt with how to operate your Portable Fridge/Freezer
contact the retailer where you purchased.
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Payattentiontothevoltagedescriptionontheratinglabel,
and ensure that the power cord is connected to right power
outlet.Over-voltagecandamagetheelectronicsofthe
device.
• Theapplianceisonlytobeusedwiththepowersupply
unitprovidedwiththeappliance.
• Ifthepowercableisdamaged,itmustbereplacedby
themanufacturer,customerserviceorasimilarlyqualied
personinordertopreventsafetyhazards.
• Disconnectthefreezerandotherconsumerunitsfromthe
batterybeforeyouconnectthebatterytoaquickcharging
device.

• Theapplianceshouldbeplacedinadrylocation,and

Do not immerse in water.

PREPARING BEFORE USE
CLEANING
Use a damp cloth to clean the fridge/freezer inside and
outsidebeforeinitialuse.Forcleaningspecicspleaserefer
tothe‘CleaningandMaintenance’sectiononpage10.
LID
Forconveniencethelidscanbeopenedfromtwosides
orcompletelyremovedbypressingthetwolidlatches
simultaneously.
HANDLES
The handles do not come installed. Install the handles by
following the below instructions.
1. Fixalefthandlebracketontothefridgewithscrews.
2. Thenpushthehandleintothelefthandlebracket.
3.Pushthehandleintoarighthandlebracketandscrewthe
bracketintoplace.
Repeat to install the other handle.

ENERGY-SAVING TIPS
• Selectawell-ventilatedplaceandkeepthefreezeraway
from heat or direct sunlight.
• Coolhotfoodbeforeputtingintothefreezer.
• Don’tfrequentlyopenthelidorkeepitopenforalongtime.
• Defrostintimewhenthereisinnerfrost.
• Setthetemperatureproperlyandreduceunnecessary
low temperature setting.

CONNECTING TO POWER
• SlideemergencyswitchtoNORMAL USE position.
• InsertDCplugintoacarcigarettelightersocketorother
DC12V/24Vsocket.
• ForusewithalternatingcurrentAC100-240V,insertthe
ACplugintoanACsocket.
NOTE:Duringnormalusing,emergencymodeisnot
applicable. Emergency mode is only used while the operating
panel is malfunctioning.

TURNING ON THE FREEZER
• Afterswitchingthepoweron,thepowerindicator icon
willlightupontheLCDdisplay.Thefridge/freezerisnowin
standby.
• Pressthe buttonthreesecondscontinually,theLCD
displaywilllightup,thepowerindicator icon will
extinguish. The digital display shows the current interior
temperature,supplyvoltageandothersettingparameters,
the iconindicatesthefridge/freezerhasstartworking.
• The showstheworkingstatusofthecompressor, light
upshowsthecompressorisworking, extinguish shows
thecompressorhasstoppedworking.
CAUTION: Placethefreezerinawellventilateddrylocation,
andcheckthattheheatdissipationoutletisnotblocked.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
FormodelswiththeDualZonefeaturetheLCDdisplayhas
2temperatureread-outs,oneforeachbincompartment.
• Tosetthetemperatureofeachindividualbincompartment
press the button once to set left bin temperature and
twice to set right bin.
• Pressboththe buttons to set the temperature from
-18°Cto10°C,or0°Fto50°F.Thesettingtemperature
appears on the display for a few seconds. The display
ashesseveraltimesandthentheinteriortemperatureis
displayed again.
• Pressthe buttontoconrmthesettingtemperature.
Tochangebetweencentigrade(°C)degreeandFahrenheit
degree(°F)displaymodespressthe button three times.
NOTE: Iftheambienttemperatureisabove+32°C(+90°F),
the minimum temperature cannot be attained.

Theset-upparametersremaininmemorywhenthefridge/
freezer is turned on again.
Whenthefridge/freezer’sinteriortemperaturereachesthe
settingtemperatures,thecompressorwillstopoperating.The
power indicator light will turn an orange color. When the
fridge/freezer is powered on the colour of the power indicator
lightshowsthecompressorstatus,greenindicatesworking,
orange indicates stopping.
BATTERY PROTECTOR SETTING
Thedeviceisequippedwithamulti-levelbatteryprotectorthat
protectsyourvehiclebatteryagainstexcessivedischarging
whenthedeviceisconnectedtotheon-board12/24Vsupply.
Ifthefridge/freezerisoperatedwhenthevehicleignitionis
switchedo,thefridge/freezerswitchesoautomatically
assoonasthesupplyvoltagefallsbelowasetlevel.The
fridge/freezerwillswitchbackononcethebatteryhasbeen
rechargedtotherestartvoltagelevel.
NOTICE! Danger of damage!
Whenswitchedobythebatterymonitor,thebatterywillno
longerbefullycharged.Avoidstartingrepeatedlyoroperating
current consumers without longer charging phases. Ensure
that the battery is recharged.
• Pressthe buttonfor4times,thencomeintobattery
protection setting mode; press the buttons to change
betweenthelevelsettings;Digitaldisplaywillbeasfollows:
VL(LOW),VM(MED),VH(HIGH).
The selected mode then appears on the display for a few
seconds.
Thedisplayashesseveraltimesbeforeitreturnstothe
current temperature.
TURNING OFF THE FREEZER
Inworkingstatus,pressandholdthe button for three
secondstotumothefreezer.Pulloutthepowerplug.

EMERGENCY MODE
Iftheoperatingpanelmalfunctions,Emergencymode
(EMERGENCYOVERRIDE)isapplicable.
SlidetheEmergencyswitchtotheEMERGENCYOVERRIDE
positiontostartthisfunction.Inthismode,thetemperature
settingfunctionisnotavailable,refrigeratingspeedisdown,
andthismodeisonlyforprovisionaluse.
Duringnormaluse,emergencymodeisnotapplicable.
Emergency mode is only used while the operating panel is
malfunctioning.
CAUTION: This mode is not suitable for long time food
storage,iftheswitchisintheEMERGENCYOVERRIDE
position,thefreezerwithfullcoolingcapacitysupercooled
temperature may freeze the food.
USB PORT FOR POWER SUPPLY
USBportallowsyoutochargesmalldeviceslikemobile
phones and MP3 players.
Touseyourfridge/freezerwithUSBdevices,simplyconnecta
USBcable(notincluded)toyourdevice.
NOTE:EnsurethatanysmalldeviceconnectedtotheUSB
portiscompatiblewith5V/500mAoperation.
MANIPULATING OF BATTERY PROTECTOR
(LOW VOLTAGE PROTECTION)
Whilethebattery’svoltagedropstotheset-updata,
compressorwillstopworking,soastoprotectthebattery
againstoverdischarge;oncethebattery’svoltagereachesthe
restartdataaftercharging,compressorwillstartimmediately.
Whilethebattery’svoltageistoolow,thebatteryprotectorwill
takeeectAredmalfunctionindicatorlightwillblink.Nowyou
need to charge the battery.
Whilethebatteryprotectorcutothebatteryconnection,you
shouldwarrantthebatterytobechargedsuciently,soasto
avoidfrequentrestartingofcompressor.

Whenthefridge/freezerissuppliedbytheautostarterbattery,
VHmodesettingisproposed,soastowarrantthatvehicle’s
batterypowerisinhighlevel.
Ifyouuseadditionalbatteryforpowersupply,VLmode setting
is applicable.
Thefridge/freezerisdesignedtohavethefunctionto
reworkwhenconnecttopowerafterpowero.Ifthefridge/
freezerisshutdownunderanabnormalsituation,itwillwork
automatically when connected to power again.
DEFROSTING
Humiditycanformfrostintheinteriorofthecoolingdeviceor
ontheevaporator.Thisreducesthecoolingcapacity.Defrost
thedeviceingoodtimetoavoidthis.
Defrostingstepsareasbelow:
• Takethestoredmaterialfromthefridge/freezer.
• Ifitisnecessary,thestoredmaterialcouldbestoredin
another fridge/freezer.
• Cutothepower,openthefridge/freezer’slid,andkeepit
open until the ice and frost melt away.
• Useacleanclothtowipeothedefrostedwater.
CAUTION:Neverusehardorpointedtoolstoremoveiceorto
loosenobjectswhichhavefrozeninplace.

REPLACING FUSE AND THE INTERIOR LIGHT
Follow the below steps for replacing the
plug fuse (12/24V):
• UnplugtheDCpowerplug.
• Turnthecapanticlockwisetoremove.
• Replacethedefectivefusewithanewone
thathasthesamerating32V10-15A.
• Tightenthecap.
WARNING: The rated current for the fuse
shouldbewithin10-15A,nolessthan10A
andMaxis15A.Afusewithratedcurrent
lessthan10Awillbeeasilyburntduringcompressorstarting
procedure;afusewithratedcurrentmorethan15Awillburn
the battery fuse in the car when the fridge/freezer uses the car
battery.
Follow the below steps for replacing the Display Panel:
• Unplugthepowerplugandopenthefridge/freezer’slid.
• Pryoutthetransparentcoverwithascrewdriver.
• UnscrewtheDisplayPanelmountingboard.
• PullouttheconnectorwireterminalfromtheDisplayPanel.
• ReplacethedefectiveDisplayPanelwithanewone.
• FitnewDisplayPanelusingreverseofremovalinstructions.
• Pressthetransparentcoverbackintothehousing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Alwaysdisconnectthedevicefromthemainsbeforeyouclean
andserviceit.
• Occasionallycleanthedeviceinteriorandexteriorwitha
dampcloth.Donotuseabrasivecleaningagentsorhard
objects during cleaning as these can damage the fridge/
freezer.
• Cleantheheatdissipationventsfrequentlytoensuregood
heat dissipation.
• Donotleavethefridge/freezerowithfoodinsideorthelid
closed.
