WhenyouinstallingAGPcard,pleasemakesure thefollowingnotice isfullyunderstood and
practiced. If yourAGP card has "AGP 4X/8X(1.5V) notch" (show below), please make sure your
AGP card isAGP 4X/8X(1.5V).
AGP2X(3.3V) card is notsupportedby nVIDIA®nForce™3150 chipset. Youmight experience
systemunable tobootup normally.Pleaseinsert anAGP 4X/8X(1.5V)card.
AlthoughGigabyte'sAG32S(G)graphicscardisbased onATiRage128Pro chip,thedesignof
AG32S(G)is compliance withAGP4X(1.5V)specification.Therefore,AG32S(G)will work fine
with nVIDIA®nForce™3150 basedmotherboards.
BeforeyouinstallPCI cards, please remove the Dual BIOS label from PCI slots if there is one.

Installing the motherboard to the chassis…
Ifthemotherboardhasmountingholes,buttheydon'tlineupwiththeholesonthebaseandthere
arenoslotstoattachthespacers,donotbecomealarmedyoucanstillattachthespacerstothe
mountingholes.Justcutthebottomportionofthespacers(thespacermaybealittlehardtocutoff,
sobecareful ofyourhands). Inthisway youcanstill attachthemotherboard tothebase without
worryingaboutshortcircuits.Sometimesyoumayneedtouse theplasticsprings toisolatethe
screwfrom the motherboardPCB surface, becausethecircuit wire maybe near bythehole. Be
careful,don'tlet thescrewcontact anyprintedcircuit writeorparts onthePCB thatarenearthe
fixinghole,otherwiseitmaydamagetheboardorcauseboardmalfunctioning.
Preparing Your Computer
ComputermotherboardsandexpansioncardscontainverydelicateIntegratedCircuit(IC)chips.To
protectthemagainstdamagefromstaticelectricity,youshouldfollowsomeprecautionswhenever
youwork on your computer.
1. Unplugyourcomputer whenworking onthe inside.
2. Useagroundedwriststrapbeforehandlingcomputercomponents. Ifyoudonothave
one,touchbothofyour handstoasafelygroundedobjectortoa metalobject,suchas
thepower supply case.
3. Holdcomponentsby theedges andtry nottouch theIC chips,leads orconnectors, or
othercomponents.
4. Placecomponentsonagroundedantistaticpadoronthebagthatcamewiththe
componentswheneverthecomponentsareseparatedfromthesystem.
5. EnsurethattheATX powersupplyis switchedoffbeforeyoupluginor removetheATX
powerconnectoronthemotherboard.
