Congratulations with your new Bluetooth iPad Keyboard, better known as the KEYS-1S by GIZMOWANNAHAVES!
Although the KEYS-1S comes with the battery partially charged, before use we recommend that you fully charge
the battery. A full charge of the KEYS-1S takes around 1,5 hours.
Quick start
The KEYS is very easy to use, just follow the steps below and get ready to enjoy!
Step 1) Place your iPad (2/3/4) into the iPad cover, ensure to rst insert in the bottom and then secure on the
top. The Home button of the iPad should be on the right hand side and openings of the iPad cover
should correspond with the area’s on the iPad
Step 2) Enable Bluetooth on your iPad (Settings > General > Bluetooth > On)
Step 3) Turn the KEYS-1S ON and press the on/off Bluetooth connection button
Step 4) Select ‘GIZMO KEYS’ from the iPad’s Devices menu
Step 5) If your iPad requests a Pin, enter the code on the KEYS-1S followed by enter
Step 6) The KEYS is now connected to your iPad
Step 7) Enjoy!
Inserting & Removing the iPad
Inserting your iPad in the correct way into the KEYS iPad cover will prevent both your iPad and the KEYS from
damage
• Insert the iPad behind the 2 bottom clicks, located at the base (hinge area) of the iPad cover
• While keeping the iPad positioned behind the 2 bottom clicks, push the iPad backwards into the case and
ensure the top click ts properly over the iPad before closing the iPad cover.
• To remove the iPad from the KEYS, simply lift up the top click to release the iPad.
NOTE: when the iPad is not securely tted behind the 2 bottom clicks when closing the iPad cover onto the
keyboard the KEYS could damage. If the KEYS does not close smoothly don’t apply more force, but open up the
cover and check the tting of the iPad.
Charging your GIZMO KEYS
Charge your KEYS via the supplied USB – Micro USB charging cable. While the KEYS charges the battery LED will
light up (RED) until fully charged. A full charge may take approx. 1,5 hours.
A fully charged battery provides approx. 3 months of power when the KEYS is used about 2 hours per day.
When not in use for an extended period of time, switch off the KEYS to preserve battery life.
When powered on, the KEYS will enter sleep mode after not being used for 3 min to preserve battery power. Press
any key to wake the KEYS from sleep mode.
