Controls
This sectiontells you aboutthe seats-how to adjustthem, takethem out
andput them back
in.
It also tells you about bucket and benchseats,power
seats, and headrestraints.

Manual Front Seat
Slidethe lever at the front of the seat to the left to unlockit. Slidethe seat to
where you wantit. Then releasethe lever and try to move theseatwith your
body, to make surethe seat
is
locked into place.

Power Driver’s Seat
You
can adjust the seatbefore entering the vehicle.
The front control
makes the frontof the
seat go up anddown.
The rear control
makes the rear
of
the
seat
go
up anddown.
The center control
makes
the
whole seat
go
up
and down
or
forward and rearward.
Reclining Bucket Seats
If
you havethis feature,you
will
have either
a
knob
or
a
lever on the inside
of
the seat toadjust the seatback.
If you have
the
knob,
you can adjust the
seatback
by
rotating
the knob
to
the left or
right.

If
you
have the lever,
you can adjust the
seatback by liftingthe
lever. Releasethe
lever to lock the seat
back where you want
it.
Pull
up
on
the lever
and theseatwill
go
to
an
upright position.
Don’t adjust the driver’sseatbackwhile your vehicleis moving.
Don’t have
a
seatbackreclined if your vehicle
is
moving.

Rear
Seats
Bucket Seats
If
you
have rear bucket seats in yourvehicle,
they
will recline and adjust the
same way asthe front manual bucket seats. See “Front Seats” earlierin this
section or in theIndex.
Bench Seats
If you have benchseats in yourvehicle, each seat can carry up to three
passengers. They can also be removed to increase storage space.
The center and rear benchseats can be adjusted forward
or
rearward by the
leverat
the
front of the seat.
Slidethe lever at the
frontof the seat
to
the
right to
unlock
it.
Slidethe seat to where
you
want it. Then
release the lever and
try
to
move the seat
with your body, to
make sure the seatis
locked into place.
The non-touring center bench seat has a pivoting right armrest. The left
armrest can also be usedas astorage compartment.
The storagecompartment and beverage cooler can also
be
used as rear seat
armrests. See “Storage Compartment/BeverageCooler”
in
the Index.
The optional touring bench seats come
with
moveable armrests, individual
reclining seatbacks, adjustable headrests and a folddown center console.

To
adjustyour
seatback, pull up
on
the lever on the lower
outsideof the seat.
The centerbench
seatbacks willrecline
furtherback thanthe
rear benchseatbacks.
To
raise
or
lower the
center console,press
the button betweenthe
beverage holders.
Only sit in thecenter
seating position when
the consoleis in
an
upright position.For
detailsabout
headrests, see “Head
Restraints”in this
section.

Seatback Latches (Non-Touring Bench Seats)
To
fold your
non-touring seatback
forward,pull up
on
the latch release lever
while pulling the
seatbacktoward you.
The leveris on the
right rear
of
your seat.
After the latch has beenreleased, push the seatback down until it locks in
place.
To
raise the seatback,unlock the seatby pushing forward on the
lever. Make sure the seatback
is
locked when it isput back in the upright
position.
Removable Seats (Touring and Non-Touring Bench Seats)
To

Disconnect the quick release latchplates
for
the lap-shoulder belt from
the buckles in theroof.

If
you are
removing the
center seat,
removetheright
lapshoulderbelt.
To
do this, press
the tip of a key
into the release
hole
of
the safety
belt attachment
while pulling up
on
the safetybelt.
3.
If you have a
safety beltguide
on
your seat,pull
the safety belt all
the way out
through the
guide.
4.
Pull up
on
the
seatback latch
on
the right rear of
the front seat.
Pushthe seatback
down
until it
locks inplace
(non-touring
bench seatsonly).
5.
Lift up on the seat release latch.The latches are near the floor on the
rear legs
of
the seat.
To
relieve pressure
on
the
latch,pull back on the
seat.
