The Keyless Access System allows locking/unlocking of the doors and liftgate without
removing the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) from your pocket or purse.
The key fob must be within 3 feet of the liftgate or the door being unlocked.
KEYLESS UNLOCKING
With the key fob within range:
Press the button on the driver’s door handle to unlock the driver’s door or all doors
and liftgate.
Press the button on a passenger’s door handle to unlock all doors and liftgate.
KEYLESS LOCKING
With the ignition o, the key fob removed from the vehicle, and all doors closed:
Press the button on any door handle to lock all doors and liftgate immediately.
If Passive Locking is turned on in the Settings menu, all doors and liftgate will lock
automatically after a short delay.
Note: To change the door lock and unlock settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock,
Unlock, Start.

REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER (KEY FOB)
KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM

doors and liftgate.

driver’s door or all

Press and hold
the button until
the windows are fully open. To enable,
go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote
Lock, Unlock, Start > Remote Window
Operation.
Remote MirrorsF
To enable the automatic power fold-
ing mirrors, go to Settings > Vehicle >
Comfort and Convenience > Remote
Mirror Folding.
Power LiftgateF
Press twice to open or close the liftgate.
Press once to stop the liftgate.
Rear LiftglassF
Press twice to open the rear liftglass.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your vehicle.
Press and hold to activate the alarm.
Press again to cancel the alarm.

Remote Vehicle Start
Press twice to start the engine from
outside the vehicle. After entering the
vehicle, press the ENGINE START/STOP
button.
• During a remote start, the engine
will run for 15 minutes. Press the
[
button twice again for an additional
15 minutes.
• To cancel a remote start, press and
hold the
[
button until the parking
lamps turn o.
Note: To change the remote lock, unlock, and
remote start settings, go to Settings > Vehicle
> Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

The fuel-saving Engine Stop/Start system automatically turns o the engine, referred
to as an Auto Stop, when the brake pedal is pressed and the vehicle is at a complete
stop, if certain operating conditions are met. In Auto Stop mode, the tachometer
will read AUTO STOP. When the brake pedal is released or the accelerator pedal is
pressed, the engine will restart. After parking the vehicle and turning o the engine,
the tachometer will read OFF.
The engine may remain running or restart when the vehicle is stopped if:
• A minimum vehicle speed was not reached prior to stopping.
• The engine or transmission is not at the required operating temperature.
• The outside temperature is not in the required operating range.
• The shift lever is in any gear other than Drive (D).
• The battery charge is low.
• The climate control system requires the engine to run based on the current settings.
• The Auto Stop has reached the maximum allowed time.
AUTO ENGINE STOP/START DISABLE
Press the
$
button on the left side of the instrument panel to turn o the system.
The button indicator turns o when the system is disabled.
The Auto Engine Stop/Start system is enabled each time the vehicle is started.

AUTO ENGINE STOP/START OPERATION
KEYLESS (PUSHBUTTON) START
The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob)
must be in the vehicle to turn on the ignition.
STARTING THE ENGINE
With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, press the
brake pedal and then press and hold the
ENGINE START/STOP button to start the
engine. The green indicator on the button will
illuminate.
Note: If the key fob battery is weak, place the key fob in the center console left cupholder to
enable the engine to start. Replace the key fob battery as soon as possible.
STOPPING THE ENGINE/OFF
Shift to Park and press the ENGINE START/STOP button to turn o the engine.
ACCESSORY MODE
With the engine o and the brake pedal not depressed, press the ENGINE START/
STOP button to place the ignition in accessory mode to operate the radio, win-
dows and other accessories with the engine o. The amber button indicator will
illuminate. Press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button for several seconds to
place the ignition in Service Mode to operate additional systems.

ELECTRONIC PRECISION SHIFT TRANSMISSION
The Electronic Precision Shift transmission control
switches are located on the center of the instru-
ment panel. The selected gear position illuminates
in red on the switch.
Park – Press the P button to shift to Park.
Reverse – Pull the R switch to shift to Reverse.
Neutral – Press and hold the N button to shift
to Neutral.
Drive – Pull the D switch to shift to Drive.
Note: To place the transmission in Neutral for an extended period while using
an automatic car wash, refer to Car Wash Mode in your Owner’s Manual.
ELECTRONIC RANGE SELECT MODE
Electronic Range Select Mode allows you to choose the top gear limit. It can be used
to limit the vehicle’s speed when driving on a downhill grade or towing a trailer.
1. With the transmission in D (Drive), press the L (Low) button.
2. Press the + (plus) or – (minus) button to increase or decrease the gear range avail-
able. The highest available gear is displayed on the Driver Information Center.
If vehicle speed is too high for the requested gear, the shift will not occur.

DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER
The Driver Information Center (DIC) on the instrument cluster displays a variety of
vehicle messages and system information.
DIC CONTROLS
Use the controls on the right side of the steering
wheel to view the various menus.
Press the or buttons (A) to move
between the display pages.
Rotate the thumbwheel (B) up or down to
move through the menus.
Press the thumbwheel to open a menu, select
an item, or clear a message.
SELECT INFO PAGES

1. Open the Info or Options menu.
2. Scroll to Info Page Options. Press the thumb-
wheel to enter the menu.
3. Scroll through the list of items.
4. Press the thumbwheel to select/deselect an
item to display in the Info menu.

Some features can be turned on/o or
customized using the Settings menus on
the infotainment screen, including Remote
Start, Power LiftgateF, Auto Heated/
Ventilated SeatsF, Safety Alert SeatF,
Mirror FoldingF, Wipers and others.
1. Select Settings on the Home page.
2. Select the desired menu tab.
3. Select the desired feature and setting.
4. Press < Back to exit each menu.
MULTI-COLOR HEAD-UP DISPLAYF
The Head-Up Display (HUD) projects some operating information on the windshield.
The HUD controls are located on the left side of the instrument panel.

Lift up or press down to adjust the position

Press to select from 4 display views.
Brightness
Lift up or press down to brighten/dim the
display. Hold down to turn o the HUD.
POWER FRONT SEATS
SET MEMORY POSITIONS

1. With the vehicle On and in Park, adjust
the driver’s seat and power outside
mirrorsFto the desired positions.
2. Press and release the SET button on
the driver’s door. A beep will sound.
3. Immediately press and hold button 1or
2until two beeps sound.
To store a seat position for exiting the
vehicle, repeat these steps using the Exit button instead of button 1or 2.
RECALL POSITIONS
Press and hold button 1, 2 or Exit until the set position is reached.
To set the positions to be recalled automatically when the vehicle is turned On/O,
go to Settings > Vehicle > Seating Position > Seat Entry Memory and Seat Exit
Memory. For exit recall, the driver’s door must be opened.

2ND-ROW SEAT ADJUSTMENTS
To slide a 2nd-row seat, lift the front lever
(A) on the side of the seat cushion.
To recline a 2nd-row seatback, lift the rear
lever (B) on the side of the seat cushion and
push on the seatback.
To fold a 2nd-row seat, lift the rear lever (B)
on the side of the seat cushion or, from the
3rd-row seat, pull the strap (C) on the bot-
tom of the seatback. The seatback will fold forward. Lift the lever or pull the strap
again to tumble the seat forward.
To return the seat to the upright position,
lift the seatback until it locks in place and
then slide the seat rearward by lifting the
front lever (A) on the side of the seat
cushion.
Note: Do not slide the 2nd-row seat while folded.
POWER FOLDING 2ND-ROW SEATSF
1. Unbuckle the seat belts, make sure nothing
is under or in front of the seats, and move
the front seats forward enough to allow room for the folded seat.
2. Press the Seat Release button (D) on the panel behind each rear door or
the

2nd-Row Seat button (E) in the rear cargo area. The seatback will fold
forward.
3. Press either button again to tumble the
seat forward.
To return the seat to the upright position,
pull the seat down until it latches to the
oor and then lift the seatback until it
locks in place.
POWER FOLDING/UNFOLDING 3RD-ROW
SEATSF
1. Unbuckle the seat belts, make sure nothing is on the seats, and move the 2nd-row
seats forward enough to allow room for the folded seats.
2. Press and hold the bottom of the 3rd-Row Seat button (F) in the cargo area or
3rd-Row Folding Seat button on the front overhead console to fold the seat-
back.
To unfold the seat, press and hold the top of either button.
CLEANING THE SEATS
The seats are easily cleanable. For best results, using a damp, soft microber cloth,
gently rub from the outside edge of the soiled edge to the center.

OPEN/CLOSE THE POWER LIFTGATE
Press the Power Liftgate button on the Remote
Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) twice.
Press the Power Liftgate knob (A) on the front
overhead console.
Press the touchpad (B) on the liftgate handle to open
the liftgate.
Press the button (C) next to the liftgate latch to close
the liftgate.
PROGRAMMING THE LIFTGATE HEIGHT
1. Turn the Power Liftgate knob (A) to the
3/4 mode position.
2. Open the liftgate.
3. Adjust the liftgate manually to the
desired height.
4. To save the setting, press and hold the
button next to the liftgate latch (C) until the
turn signals ash and a beep sounds.
HANDS-FREE OPERATIONF
To open or close the liftgate hands-free,
the key fob must be within 3 feet of the lift-
gate. Kick your foot straight up under the
passenger’s side of the rear bumper, right
of center, to activate the liftgate. When the
key fob is within 6 feet of the rear bumper,
the GMC logo (D) is projected on the
ground near the passenger’s side of the
rear bumper, indicating the kicking motion
location. The logo is shown for 1 minute, depending on operating conditions.
Note: To change the hands-free operation settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Comfort and
Convenience > Hands Free Liftgate on the infotainment screen.
The Power Running Boards lower automatically when a door is opened and retract
after the doors are closed.
To turn the boards on or o, go to Settings > Vehicle > Running Boards >
Automatic Running Boards.
To deploy the boards for cleaning or to use the boards with the doors closed, with
the vehicle in Park or Neutral, go to Settings > Vehicle > Running Boards > Deploy
Running Boards.

MANAGING HOME PAGE ICONS
1. Press the Home button.
2. To enter edit mode, touch and hold the Home page icon to move.
3. Continue holding the icon and drag it to the desired position, and then release.
